  • “Rebirth – Spiritual Rejuvenation!!!”

New Monday Morning Blog John 3 3

Praise the Lord Beloved!!! 😀 Happy Monday to you all. I hope everyone had an awesome weekend.
As we all know we’re in a special time of year. According to history, a special child would be born, I’m speaking of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So, I want to speak to you briefly about rebirth.

Beloved, do you know what Jesus had in mind when He said “Born Again” to Nicodemus? He was talking covenant talk. He was telling Nicodemus what it meant to have an agreement with God.

Allow me to paint you a virtual mental picture I believe that was in Jesus’ mind. Imagine a baby, a little baby born of an unwed mother. No one knows who its daddy is, and no one wants to know. He’s a child no one wants. He doesn’t belong to anyone.

Now, I want you to picture the best kind of family you can think of. I’m speaking of a family that loves God. The man has a good career. They’re blessed monetarily. They’re contributors, supporters and lovers of people, and they fall in love with this baby. Before long, they adopt it.

Now look at what just happened!!! 😀 That baby was just rebirth. Life for the baby is now “Rejuvenated!!!” 😀 He got a new set of parents. Through adoption, he has now become an heir. Why? Not because of anything the baby has done. Those parents didn’t say, “I want you to look at that baby. I’m so overwhelmed with all that that child has done for us. He has certainly earned our love and admiration.”

NO, it’s a baby. It couldn’t have done anything to earn its new life. This man and this woman agreed together out of the love in their hearts (mind and emotion) to give grace (unmerited favor) to the child. Now he has access to everything they have. When they offer him a bottle, he doesn’t knock the bottle away and say, “I’m so humble and undeserving. Just give me water.” Of course not. That baby acts like part of the family, and not just part of the family but the best part of the family. Because in Jesus’ day a covenant or adopted child had the same birthright as the firstborn son. That’s what Jesus was talking about when He said, “You must be born again (rebirth).” He was talking about grace. He was talking about a new relationship of favor. He was talking about a spiritual rejuvenation.  A new family. A new authority. A new power.

Beloved, if you feel undeserving to receive the rich blessings God has for you today, think about that. Meditate on it, so instead of worrying about and struggling with the needs in your life, you can just walk confidently into the throne room of your Father and receive help to get those needs met.

Learn what it really means to be a blood-bought child of Almighty God with a big brother like Jesus. Learn what it means to be, Rebirth and become Spiritually Rejuvenated!!!

Have a blessed Monday and a splendid week Everyone.

  • “Pure Spiritual Influence”

New Monday Morning Blog Galatians 5 22 23
Praise the Lord Beloved, Happy Monday to you all.

You know Beloved, so many believers think of the fruit of the spirit as little more than a passive list of pleasant qualities that can help improve their personalities. But allow me to tell you, it’s far greater than that!!! It’s pure influence from on High.

Beloved, love is so influential, the scripture says, that it never fails. Patience is so influential it cannot be stopped. No matter what the conditions are, it won’t quit. Temperance is so influential it can master all the unruly desires of your flesh.

Beloved, the fruit of the spirit is not weak!!! It’s solid. So solid all the demons of hell can’t stop it. So solid that if you’ll let it flow out of you, it will correct the problems in your life. It will keep you unwavering when all the people around you are falling down or quitting on you. It’ll keep you on your feet when rules fail, people change, and when the storms of life come.

I’m sure we all realize we’re living in dangerous days. There’s only one way you can make it through with success. You must begin to release the influential fruit of the spirit God has placed inside you. Believe me, if you’re born again, it’s there.

Beloved, if you learn to yield to it, as 2 Peter 1:10 promised, you shall never fall!!!

Have a Blessed Monday and a wonderful Week Everyone. 😀
  • “God’s Spiritual Health Center Is Open”

    God's Spiritual Health Is Open.png

Praise the Lord Beloved!!! Happy Friday to you all.

Beloved, God has compassion. He sees the poor in spirit, sick, ailing and calls them to His Spiritual health, healing, trauma and deliverance center. Like a 24-hour medical hospital, you can reach Him anytime. He’s aware of your infirmity and knows how you’re feeling.

Beloved, as you approach this weekend, if you’re feeling any kind of spiritual infirmity, I want you to know that God’s Spiritual Health Center is open, and the Holy Spirit is ready to roll you into the recovery room where you can fully realize that your disturbance or set back is over. I’m overjoyed to tell you also that God has never released anybody that He wasn’t going to use mightily.

This weekend may God reveal healing and purpose as we all continue to seek Him.

Have a blessed Weekend Everybody!!! 😀

  • “It’s Time To Get Caught Up”

It's Time to Get Caught Up
Beloved, the time has come for you to break out from the enemy’s camp and pursue the words of the Lord. This is your season to progress and repossess all that you’ve let slip through your absorbent spirit. This is the season to get caught up. The Lord wants you to walk with Him side by side step for step. Your time card of being short changed has been voided. Now is the time to take off those rose-colored shades and face the truth. You’ve been marginally doing things, while all along you’ve been duping yourself into believing that you were fully walking on the path of spiritual truth.

Beloved, the Spirit of the Lord is saying to you, the time has come for you to get caught up on what the enemy has stolen from you – right before your very eyes. It’s time for you to exchange your immoral spirit for the Lord’s spirit. The Lord has been preparing a supper in front of your former tormentors (bullies, persecutors, oppressors). It’s time to participate in your feast of His blessings. Now, is the time to get caught up on conversations with Him and with the Holy Spirit. It’s time to once again sit at His feet and learn about Him.

Beloved, it’s time to get caught up and retrieve your stolen possessions. I’m speaking of the ones that the enemy has taken from you and your generations. The time has come for you to pursue and recollect what has been robbed from you and your family.

Beloved, it’s time to get caught up on praise and worship and spending time in the presence of the Lord. It’s time to reside in His atmosphere and relax in His arms. He wants you to experience once again how it feels to hear His heart beat.

Beloved, on this Friday and as you prepare to adventure into another weekend, listen for the voice of the Lord. His voice has increased, you can hear it through reading other prophetic words. Listen, read and move according to the Lord’s necessity for your life. The new day has dawned, and a new season is beginning for many within the churches and ministries. I believe this is a last wake up call for many to rise up and move spiritually closer to the heart of our Father. I also sense that the time is short and the need to move out into newer levels of Gods calling has never been more urgent.

Beloved, the Lord is becoming increasingly concerned that many who call Him Lord are still grounded to the ways of the world and embedded in the twisting of the Leviathan.

Ephesians 5:14 will not leave my spirit, it says:
“Awake, O sleeper, rise up from the dead, and Christ will give you light.”

Beloved, this could be a last wake-up call for many of you. I can’t stress this strongly enough. It’s time for us all to wake up!!! It’s time to shake off the enemy’s malady and remove the sleep out of our worldly covered sugar-coated eyes and smell the glory of the Lord, as He prepares to come in magnificent grandeur and recollect His loved ones and repossess what’s rightfully His.

May we not reject the call of the Holy Spirit, as He once again in His mercy, seeks to awaken His bride into movement towards their high calling in the Lord, prepared before the beginning of the earth.

May the Lord have mercy on those who remain asleep.

    Have a Blessed Weekend Everyone!!!
  • The Spiritual Technique For Going Up Is Down”

The Spiritual way up is Down.png

Our Walk With Me Focal Scripture for today is Matthew 20:21-28

Beloved, travel back with me for a moment to one of the many scenes that demonstrated just how ordinary Jesus’s disciples were. Now, what makes this account interesting is the presence of a mother of two of the disciples. She’s Mrs. Zebedee, wife of a Galilean fisherman and mother of James and John. Let’s reflect on her request to Jesus:

Matthew 20:21 She said to Him, “Command that in Your kingdom these two sons of mine may sit one on Your right and one on Your left.”

Now, I don’t want you all to be too tough on this dear Jewish mother. She’s proud of her sons!!! Her motive was probably pure, and her idea was in proper perspective. She didn’t ask that her sons occupy the center throne, of course not, because that belongs to Jesus. But she pushed for James and John as candidates for thrones number two and number three. She wanted people to think highly of her boys who had left their nets and entered this up-and-coming ministry. Let’s remember, they were among “the Twelve.”

     And that needed recognition!!!

Now, just in case you’re wondering how the other ten felt about this, check out verse 24. It says, “The ten became indignant.” Guess why. Hey, no way were they going to give up those top spots without a fight!!! They got downright ticked off that maybe James and John might get the glory they wanted. Doesn’t that Sound familiar?

Beloved, Jesus pulled His disciples aside and spelled out the sharp contrast between His philosophy and the world system in which they lived.  I want you all to read His words slowly and carefully.

Matthew 20:26–28 says: “It is not this way among you, but whoever wishes to become great among you shall be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you shall be your slave; just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

In the nonspiritual (worldly) system there are distinct levels of authority. In the military there are officers and enlisted men and ranks within each. In sports there are coaches and players. In the business world there are corporation heads and lines of authority between managers, personnel, foremen, and laborers. The person in the labor force is expected to punch a clock, show up on time, work hard, and not take advantage of his or her employer. There’s a name for those who choose not to follow those directions. Unemployed!!! Why? Because the boss is in charge.

Beloved, that’s the way the system works. As Jesus put it in Matthew 20:25–26, “Their great men exercise authority over them.” But then He added, “It is not this way among you”. What isn’t this way? Simply this, in God’s family there’s to be one great body of people: servants.

Beloved, humility is the best away to advance in the King of God.
In fact Beloved, that’s the only way to the top in His kingdom.

    To God Be the Glory

  • Spiritual Focus”

    32760127_10211366375851333_7646169761256046592_n

Praise the Lord Beloved. Happy Friday and Happy Father’s Day Weekend. 😀

Beloved determining to stay spiritually decent and in order is a choice not a command. But, when we honor the Lord by being spiritually upright, the Lord changes the way that believers decide on different occurrences that spring into their life.

Beloved, your spiritual conclusion won’t always be favorable to many especially the carnal minded (worldly) people. So, as we approach this Father’s Day weekend, instead of following our carnal predispositions or compulsions, choose to seek God’s platform to look at every situation you may encounter. OH!!! And one other thing, rather than relying on other people’s advice or information choose to search scripture for confirmation on what you hear the Lord is saying to you. Eventually, you’ll get use to discerning the quiet voice of the Holy Spirit, and the voices of the world “will” weaken.

Have a Blessed and Happy Father’s Day Weekend Everyone!!! 😀
  • Get Godly Wisdom”

    bishop-houstons-weekend-word-picture

    Praise the Lord Beloved!!!
Happy Friday. We are on the door step of another weekend.

You know Beloved, Godly Wisdom is an essential component that each one of us need to apprehend. Without it, our comprehension of the spiritual things surrounding the Kingdom of God will be limited. On my “A Slice of Heaven” album I recorded a song called “Hear Ye God’s Children”, I recite one of my favorite verses (Proverbs 4:7) trying to increase the awareness about the importance of Wisdom.

Jesus said in Mathew 6: 33 “Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you”. But without Godly Wisdom, the spiritual discernment required to search the Kingdom of God will be pointless.

Beloved, this weekend do whatever it takes to embrace Godly wisdom. Believe me, when you do, you’ll find it will saturate you with understanding the Kingdom of God.

Have a very blessed weekend Everyone. 😀

  • “To Divorce or Not To Divorce?”

    Social Media Q and A Poster 2222222

Dear Bishop Houston, I am Ubura a Christian. Me and my wife have been married for 15 years and I think I want to divorce her. What shall I do?

Praise the Lord Ubura thank you for your question.

Well, Ubura contemplating divorce for many is very difficult and there’s a lot that may impinge your divorce (children, property, money and emotions, ect….). I’m not an attorney so I will leave those legal matters to the men and women that are properly authorized to litigate.

Now, as a Christian spiritual leader, the first thing I advise you to do is take it to God first. It’s mandatory that you know the will of God. And once that’s done, you’ll have the assurance of 1st John 5:14-15 “God always hears and answers prayers which are prayed in line with His will”. It’s major for us as Christian to discern God’s will in His Word.
Now, we as Christians, divorce among believers is definitely unwanted. God’s best is for two Christians once they become husband and wife is to remain married throughout their lifetime. Matthew 19:4-6 says: “Haven’t you read the Scriptures?” Jesus replied. “They record that from the beginning ‘God made them male and female.’” And he said, “‘This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.’ Since they are no longer two but one, let no one split apart what God has joined together”.

Then there’s 1st Corinthians 13:4-8 which outlines how the God kind of love is supposed to perform. Now, Romans 10:17 says, faith comes from the Word. So you must meditate on those verses until your mind is completely renewed Romans 12:2 (Amp) says: And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].

So Ubura, you must act on the Word in faith for your marriage.
in other words your decision and response should be made according to God’s love no matter what happens.

So, instead of reacting emotionally to your spouse, allow 1st Corinthians 13 to be your guideline. As a Christian you must respond with the God kind of love. You must be patient, kind, forgiving, always protective, trusting, persevering and hopeful. Don’t be envious, boastful, proud or rude. Don’t keep track of wrongs or be self-seeking or easily angered. Since God promises you that love never fails, if you walk steadfastly in His kind of love, your marriage cannot fail!!!

Even though the Apostle Paul did not discuss divorce between two unsaved people, he did say that adultery, divorce or anything else the flesh produces in the life of a sinner is a result of the sinner following his true nature. According to
2nd Corinthians 5:19, God will not hold his sins against him. This would include divorce.
In 1st Corinthians 7:12-13, 15, Paul dealt with situations involving one saved and one unsaved partner. In this case, Paul says that if the unbeliever is willing to live with the believer, the believer should not seek a divorce. However, if the unbeliever leaves, the believer is not bound to the marriage. He ended with the statement, “God has called us to live in peace.”
Beloved, God’s Word is His will for you. I encourage you to read over the scriptures I’ve just mentioned and meditate on 1st Corinthians 7. Pray and trust God to bring the clarity of His will in regard to your stand. 😀

    Thank you for your question.
