  • “Believe It’s Your Season”

Bishop' inspirational word” Week 2 Believe it’s Your Season.png
    Praise the Lord Beloved!!! 😀

Beloved, allow me to ask you a question:
Are you stressed or determined to make something happen? Maybe you need a breakthrough in your finances or in a relationship. It’s good to do everything we know to do in the natural, but we have to always remember that achievement doesn’t come by might, nor by power, but by the Spirit of the living God.

One Bible translation says, “It’s by the breath of Almighty God.” When you know God is breathing in your direction and you’re challenged to take a leap of faith and you say, “Yes, this is my time, I’m going to accomplish my dreams,” that’s when you’ll feel a wind beneath your wings. That’s when you’ll feel a supernatural lift, an anointing that will help you accomplish what you could not accomplish on your own.

Today Beloved, know that the wind of God is blowing.
This is your season. This is your time to believe again. Believe that God can open doors that no man can shut. Believe that He’s working behind the scenes in your favor.

  • Be Patient and Wait on God

Bishop' inspirational word” Week 2 Be Patient and Wait on God
    Beloved,
waiting on God is an important spiritual discipline in our walk of faith. King David’s life teaches us about the value of following the Lord’s plan and the danger in moving ahead of Him.

In 1 Sam. 24:1-7 the Bible tells us that when David was a young shepherd boy, the prophet Samuel anointed him as Israel’s next king. Yet he didn’t become the ruler for many years. Waiting for the Lord to place him on the throne was made more difficult because the current king, Saul, turned against David andrepeatedly tried to take his life. Despite the opportunity to take matters into his own hands and kill his enemy,
David held back. He wouldn’t allow anyone else to attack Saul either.

He waited on God and was greatly blessed for his obedience.

King David also knew what it was like to move ahead without the Lord.

In 2 Sam. 11:1 The Bible tells us that one year David chose not to join his troops in battle, even though that was one of his duties. During the time he stayed home, he noticed Bathsheba, the wife of Uriah, and he coveted her. Acting upon his desires, he conceived a child with her and then tried to cover up his sin.

That was one of the worst mistakes he made in his life.

You see instead of following the Lord’s plan and being “PATIENT” and getting blessed by the God,
he experienced divine chastisement and whole lot of heartache.

    Friends,
as believers, we want to obey the Lord, but there may be situations when intense desire propels us forward without waiting for His direction.

    Just like David,
we will experience the blessing of obedience or

    the heartache of disobedience.

  • “Be Excited about Who You Are”

    Bishop' inspirational word” Week 2.png
Beloved, the scripture talks about how God has given us the power to enjoy what is selected and appointed to us. That simply means that I don’t have the power to enjoy your life.

You may have more success, more money, more friends or even a better job, but if you put me in your life, I’m not going to enjoy it. We’re uniquely designed to run our own race.

    Beloved,
when we truly understand and embrace this, we won’t be tempted to compare or wish we had what someone else has. You won’t think, “If only I had their talent.” No, if God wanted you to have that talent, He would have given it to you. Instead, take what you have and develop it. Make the most of it. Don’t think, “If only I had her looks or his looks.” No, God gave you your looks. That’s not an accident. The life you have has been perfectly matched for you.

Beloved, you’ve got to do your part and get excited about your life. Be excited about who you are, your looks, your talent, your ability, your personality. When you’re passionate about who you are, it brings honor to God.

  • “Position Yourself against the Devil’s Tactics!!!”

    Bishop' inspirational word” Week 1.png
    Ephesians 4:27 (AMP)
27 And do not give the devil an opportunity [to lead you into sin by holding a grudge, or nurturing anger, or harboring resentment, or cultivating bitterness].

    Praise the Lord Beloved!!!

Beloved, if you give the devil a place, he’ll take it. You have to stay alert and keep your shield of faith high because if you don’t, he’ll turn around and steal back from you the ground you just took.

There have been people who have received their healing and have fallen back into their old thinking patterns of sickness. They let their faith down and gave the devil an opening. When he came along with an old symptom, they weren’t ready for him. They fell victim to his counterattack.

Friends, you can stand successfully against the devil’s strategies!!! But before you do, you’re going to have to make three quality decisions.

    First,
you have to make the Word of God the final authority in your life.
Line up your thinking with whatever the Word says.

    Second,
you have to decide to live your life by faith in what God has said. The Bible says in Romans 10:17, “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God”.

    And third,
you have to decide to live by the love of God because faith works by love. Without love, your faith won’t function. Without the Word, you can’t have faith. So don’t try to make one of these decisions without the other two. You have to have all three of them.

  • “Faith Moves The Hand of God”

    Bishop' inspirational word” Week 1.png
    Genesis 15:6 (NLT).
And Abram believed the Lord, and the Lord counted him as righteous because of his faith.

    Beloved,
God has always been full of mercy and grace, even in the Old Testament when the works based Law of Moses was in effect.  You see when God told Abram he would be the father of many nations despite his advanced age, it came to pass because Abram believed God. His faith in God’s promises, not his actions, was what made him righteous.
    Beloved,
as Christians, there are two things we can do to show we’re standing on faith:
    1.  We have to live according to His Word

    and
    2. Grow our own knowledge of Him.

Faith moves the hand of God.

  • “There is Nothing God Cannot Do”

Bishop' inspirational word” Week 1Beloved, this week I pray that insurmountable odds will turn in your favor this week in Jesus name.

    Daniel 2:47 NLT
The king said to Daniel, “Truly, your God is the greatest of gods, the Lord over kings, a revealer of mysteries, for you have been able to reveal this secret.”

    Beloved,
The above account was the perspective of the wise, powerful and PAGAN king Nebuchadnezzar
(once ruler of the world) about God.

Beloved, we serve a Holy God, abounding in mercies, who’s the same yesterday, today and forever.
He’s the same God who addressed Nebuchadnezzar as “king Nebuchadnezzar”, humbled him in his pride and restored his kingdom to him.

    There’s nothing God cannot do.

  • “Delayed Prayer” (Part 3)

Bishop' inspirational word” Week 4 “Delayed Prayer Part 3”.pngPraise the Lord Beloved.

As I said Monday and Tuesday, scripture makes it clear that our Heavenly Father hears and answers prayer. But we all have experienced a time in our life what we’re praying for get’s delayed.
That’s because at times God has a reason to delay the answer or request we have submitted.

Here is my last reasons for delayed prayer.

Beloved, God delays our prayer(s) is to see how we will respond.
You see an immature Christian would get all bent out of shape and even re-visit old habits, anger and hostility. They may even leave the Christian faith. But the mature Christian will respond with understanding and patience. That’s because their spiritual wisdom has kicked in.

You see the Holy Spirit will work in these times of waiting to mature us and bring forth righteous fruit
or in other words the right things to think and say when our prayer(s) get delayed.

Beloved, let me tell you God sees our every response. His kingdom is not a Burger King
    “Have it your way!!!”
But it is the Kingdom of the King of Kings we’re making our request known. So our response should be
“Have Your way God!!! I have moved self aside because I know you’re a right on time God and You don’t make mistakes.”

A few other reasons God delays prayer request is the individual has wrong motives
and the practice of habitual sin stands in the way.

    James 4:3 (NLT) says:
3 And even when you ask, you don’t get it because your motives are all wrong—you want only what will give you pleasure.

Beloved, we all fall short when it comes to God’s standard of holiness, but there are some people who persist in a lifestyle of disobedience. The Lord may delay His answer so He can prompt you to confess your sin and turn back to Him.

Beloved, I’ll be the first to tell you waiting on the Lord isn’t easy.
Your faith and trust are needed.
    Hebrews 11:1 (NLT) says:
11 Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.

So if His answer is delayed to your prayer request, check that
    (1) your focus is on Him,
    (2) your motive for asking is God-honoring, and
    (3) you aren’t practicing habitual sin.
Then believe that His response will be for your good and His glory.

  • “Delayed Prayer” (Part 2)

Bishop' inspirational word” Week 4 “Delayed Prayer Part 2”.pngPraise the Lord Beloved.

As I said Monday, scripture makes it clear that our Heavenly Father hears and answers prayer.
But we all have experienced a time in our life what we are praying has been delayed. That’s because God does delay the answer or request to our prayers.

Here is another reason for the delayed prayer.
There are seasons when the Lord wants to stretch us and grow our faith.
    Galatians 5:22-23 (NLT) says:
22 But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, and self-control. There is no law against these things!

You see, when God is stretching and growing our faith, He’s actually working in our spiritual vineyard to get us qualified to receive His blessing. He’s broadening us in the areas we are weak.

Here are a few examples for you to think about:
    Why would He bless someone with $10,000 and the individual has no self-control with $1,000;
    Why would He bless someone with one of His precious kings or queens when the individual is deficient of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, and faithfulness;
Why would He bless someone if the individual  don’t know how to take care of God’s goodness?
Why would He bless the individual(s) with a new home, new apartment, new automobile if the individual doesn’t appreciate what they already have or take care of what they have been blessed with?

Beloved, God’s gives His goodness to those who appreciate and are responsibly dedicated to the things
    He has blessed them with.

I have taught my children in order to get blessed and attain more blessings you have to be “Accountable, Responsible and Dependable”.
Those are the same characteristics God requires.

Beloved, without these characteristics gives God another reason to delay your prayers.

I will give you my last reasons tomorrow.

  • “Delayed Prayer” (Part 1)

Bishop' inspirational word” Week 4 “Delayed Prayer”.png
    Praise the Lord Beloved.
    Happy New Week!!!

You know Beloved, scripture makes it clear that our heavenly Father hears and answers prayer.
Yet we all experience times when we pray for God to act right away and at times He doesn’t.
    Our prayer is delayed.

This week (Monday-Wednesday) I will give you some reasons for the delayed prayer.

    Beloved Mark 12:30 says:
30 And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.

Beloved, one reason God delay’s our prayer is at times the Lord sees that our attention is misdirected. You see, our relationship with Him should have priority over any earthly matter. Yet our minds and prayers can become so fixed upon a need that our gaze shifts away from Him. The Father may delay His answer until we refocus on Him.

Another reason God delay’s our prayer is because the timing isn’t right for granting our request.
Perhaps certain events must happen first, or people’s thinking needs to be changed.

I will give you another reason tomorrow.

  • “Accepting Change”

Bishop' inspirational word” Week 3 Accepting Change.pngBeloved, as we get older we change. Our appearance change, our morals change, our lifestyle change and for some what you eat change.

Change is one of the most difficult things for people to face.Nevertheless, change is unavoidable. In fact, Mark Twain once said, “The only person who likes change is a wet baby.” One reason people don’t like change is because they get comfortable with where they are in life. They get used to their friends, job or the place they live. And even if it’s not perfect, they accept it simply because it’s familiar. However, when we’re not willing to change, we get stuck in life holding on to what God did in the past instead of growing and moving forward into what God wants to do in the future.

Beloved, remember that just because God has blessed you where you are doesn’t mean you can just sit back and settle there.

Beloved today, I encourage you to be open to the new things God has in store for you. God wants to do something new in you and through you. He wants to see you grow, prosper and flourish. So get ready and keep your heart focused on Him.

Embrace your change and see the blessing God has in store for you!!!
