Dedicate Your Time—Don’t Just Occupy It

Bishop Houston’s “Weekend Word”
Praise the Lord Beloved!!!
You know in Ephesians 5:15-17 (NCV) the Word reads:
15 So be very careful how you live. Do not live like those who are not wise, but live wisely. 16 Use every chance you have for doing good, because these are evil times. 17 So do not be foolish but learn what the Lord wants you to do.Beloved,
time is a valuable commodity. Since it’s irreversible and irreplaceable, we ought to give careful consideration to how we spend our days and even our minutes. Time is a gift from God. That means we’re not owners but stewards and will one day be held accountable for how we used what was entrusted to us.
According to verse 15, there are only two possible ways to live: wisely or foolishly.Beloved,
to make the most of your opportunities, begin this weekend with the Lord, submitting to His will and asking that He direct your activities. After all, none of us want to get to heaven and discover that even though we’ve been busy spending our time, we have failed to invest it for eternity. From Lady Niecy and I,

“Don’t Be Troubled”

Bishop Houston’s “Expression for Today”Praise The Lord Beloved!!!
Beloved,
have you ever felt overwhelmed or even troubled of what God has called you to do?
Maybe you were pursuing a dream or goal and things didn’t turn out the way you planned.
Joseph had planned to take Mary as his wife, but when he found out she was pregnant,
he didn’t know what to think. He was afraid that he might be making a mistake because things
didn’t turn out the way he planned. But, God sent a messenger in a dream to reassure Joseph
that he was on the right path.Today Beloved,
let me reassure you that God knows right where you are, and He knows how to get you to where you need to be. Even when things don’t go the way you planned, His hand is on you. Do not be troubled, trust that God is working behind the scenes on your behalf and that He will lead you into the life of blessing that He has prepared just for you.Have a blessed day Everybody!!!

“Failure Is Not The End!!!”
Bishop Houston’s “Expression For The Day”Praise the Lord Beloved.
Beloved,
are you down on yourself today because of past mistakes you’ve made or because you’re not where you want to be in life? God knows every poor choice, every difficulty, every wrong turn you may have made, and He’s already planned your comeback!!!Allow me to give you an illustration:
in scripture, Jonah took a detour, so to speak. It took him a little bit longer, but because he called out to God, because he believed, God not only rescued him, but God got him to his final destination.Beloved,
“I want you to know today that failure is not the end.” God always has the final say. Mistakes don’t have to keep you from your destiny. God’s plan can override every setback. Your world may be in disorder today in a relationship, in your finances or health.
But know this, not only will God rescue you
He will set your feet on a solid foundation and lead you to your final destination in life.
Remember, the promise He placed on the inside of you didn’t go away because you had some personal failures. No!!!
That failure is only temporary but His Word remains forever!!!
Keep hoping, keep believing because He will move you into the blessing and victory He has prepared just for you!!!Have a blessed day Everybody.
