  • CHOF Ministry’s Reflection-“Fitting In”

Praise the Lord, and welcome back to:
    CHOF Ministry Morning Reflection.

CHOF Sunday Morning Reflection is here to give our readers a brief observation about the CHOF Bible Fellowship Sunday Morning mini teaching,

This Morning Our CHOF Bible Fellowship was called “Fitting In” and I spoke on how God’s love for us give us the feeling of fitting in. His love for us allows us to feel we have not just a place but a “special place.” He loves us just as much as parents love their child or children.

All through the Bible we see our Heavenly Father’s love for us. the imagery found in Isaiah 44, gives us the image of God’s Fatherly love. So, we must believe and treat God with respect and love just as an obedient child honors their parent.

We can see other examples in Scripture that tells us that God is our Father.

In the Old Testament, God is called the Father of Israel, not on a personal basis but as a nation.

In (Exodus 4:22), you’ll find that when God delivered the nation from slavery in Egypt, God declared that Israel is His “firstborn son.” In Deuteronomy 32:6 Moses reminded the Jews about to enter the Promised Land that Yahweh the Lord is their Father. In Jeremiah 31:9 God Himself said He is “Israel’s father.” Because of their sins, in Isaiah 5:13, Isaiah warned that the nation would go into exile. Then crying to Yahweh to restore them to the Promised Land, Isaiah 63:16 the Israelites said, “Surely you are still our Father!”

Now, in the New Testament, you’ll find that the Christian faith is a love relationship understood in the most basic of all human relationships, “A Father and a Child.” John 1:12, says: “Those who believe in Jesus are called children of God.  And of course, we can’t forget about Luke 15:11-31, the parable of the prodigal son. This is a picture of our loving and forgiving heavenly Father welcoming His wayward children into His arms.

Undeniably He’s “still our Father!!!” Beloved, if you haven’t surrendered your carnal behaviors, don’t you think it’s time to let them go and come home to your Father?

    Have a Blessed Sunday.

  • “God’s Plan Blesses You”

    Bishop W. F. Houston, Jr. Ministry logo2 Transparient2 Nativity

Praise the Lord Beloved!!! Welcome to Wednesday’s CHOF Bible Fellowship.

Our focal CHOF Bible Fellowship verse this morning comes from 2 Timothy 1:9 (NLT) and it reads:
    (9) For God saved us and called us to live a holy life. He did this, not because we deserved it, but because that was his plan from before the beginning of time – to show us his grace through Christ Jesus.

Beloved, if you’re talented, you may feel comfortable taking your talents into a nonspiritual or materialistic field. You see, talent, like justice, is visionless, it’ll seek all opportunities the same. But when you’re familiar with divine purpose, there are just some things that will not do because, they’ll defeat the purpose of God in your life!!! Being called according to purpose enables you to focus on the development of your talent as it relates to your purpose!!!

You see, whenever we bring our efforts into alignment with His purpose, we automatically are blessed. Our efforts must be tailored after the purpose of divine purpose. Everyone is already blessed. We often spend hours in prayer trying to convince God that He should bless what we’re trying to accomplish. Beloved, what we need to do is spend hours in prayer for God to disclose His resolution. When we do what God has ordain to be done we’re blessed because God’s plan is already blessed.

Beloved, God’s plan was designed with you in mind.

Have a Blessed Wednesday Everyone. 😀

  • “Respected Courtesy”

    Morning Blog
    Good Morning Every!!! 😀

I hope everyone had a blessed weekend and a joyous Sunday.

Over the weekend I read the writings in Esther and in chapter 2 verse 15 caught my eye. It says: Esther was the daughter of Abihail, who was Mordecai’s uncle. (Mordecai had adopted his younger cousin Esther.) When it was Esther’s turn to go to the king, she accepted the advice of Hegai, the eunuch in charge of the harem. She asked for nothing except what he suggested, and she was admired by everyone who saw her.

Beloved, the words “respected courtesy” came to my mind.
Respected Courtesy is when anyone that’s in your presence revere you.

Beloved, in Christianity we become revered when our change from immoral characteristic to moral characteristics are completed. Once this change occurs then God grants us His respected courtesy which permits us to step into His realm of favor. When God displays His respected courtesy toward us everyone that sees us can’t help but notice.

Have a Blessed Monday and an Awesome Week Everyone!!! 😀

  • “The Best Is Yet To Come”

Sunday Morning The Best is yet to come
    Sunday Morning!!!

    Praise the Lord Beloved.
    This is another day that the Lord has made;
let us all rejoice and be glad in it.

    2 Timothy 1:10 (NCV)

10 but it is now shown to us by the coming of our Savior Christ Jesus. He destroyed death, and through the Good News he showed us the way to have life that cannot be destroyed.

Praise the Lord Beloved Happy Sunday to you. 😃

Beloved, have you ever pondered what it will be like when your body dies and you go on to heaven? Well, according to the Word, when that time comes, this flesh and blood tent you live in will die, but you won’t feel a thing. You’ll just take off the cloak of your flesh, lay it down and go to a far better place.
Believers who have died and come back say that they have no consciousness of loss in other words “no pain or knowledge gaps. Their minds stay undamaged, and they even have arms and legs, but they are spirit and not flesh. One lady said she couldn’t even tell she wasn’t in her body until she tried to grip something. Her hand would just go right through the material object. She was spirit and not flesh.

According to the Apostle Paul in 2 Corinthians 5:1 he says, “to be absent from the body is to be present with God.”

So, when God calls you home, you’ll just abandon your fleshly body and go to be with Him forever.
And you know what’s more fascinating is? God doesn’t even refer to our old, abandoned bodies as being dead. He says they’re just asleep. Why? Because He knows that just as sleep is temporary, so is the death of the body. He’s planned a day when our sleeping bodies will be awakened and raised up in glory just like Jesus’ was.

Beloved, there’s coming a day when not only our spirits have victory over death, our physical bodies do too!!!

    Hallelujah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have a Blessed Sunday Everyone!!! 😀

  • Be Abnormally Dedicated”

CHOF Ministry Wor for Today Template.png
    Focal Reading: Proverbs 4:7-9

Beloved, if you really want to get the wisdom of God, you’ll have to do more than casually read the Scriptures a few minutes a day or post scriptural pictures on social media. You’ll have to feed on them night and day. You’ll have to get rid of the trash you’ve been feeding into your consciousness by reprogramming your mind with the Word of God.
Now there may be some of you that read this say: “Hold up Bishop, Houston’ that’s not normal!!!”

    And you’re right!!!

    But think about this:
Most college athletes practices for hours every day, an Olympian spend many hours in a day training for their event. They do it because they’re abnormally dedicated to their goals.

Beloved, the same is true for you. If you’re going to achieve the kind of spiritual excellence you’re hungry for, you’re going to have to be abnormally dedicated to the Word of God. This means you just might have to carry your streaming device or recorder device around with you everywhere you go. It just might mean that you’ll have your razor or hair brush in one hand and your streaming device or recorder device in the other or a streaming device or recorder device in one hand and a fork in the other.

Beloved, do whatever it takes to totally saturate yourself with the Word of God. I wouldn’t speak to you any differently if I were your commanding officer about to send you into combat against the best skilled selected troops of an unrestrained enemy. You’re God’s front line assault force. You have an enemy who is doing his very best to abolish you. In this crucial, all-out, unrestrained offensive war, Satan will dispatch hell’s choicest personnel to knock a patch of hair out of your head or bring you down.

Beloved, if you’re going to make it through in victory, you’re going to have to put in work!!!

    Beloved, be abnormally dedicated.

    Get wisdom.

    Have a blessed day. 😀
