“God’s Favor Is Always Around You 24/7”
CHOF Ministry’s Scripture for Today:Psalm 33:22 (NLT)22 Let your unfailing love surround us, Lord, for our hope is in you alone.Praise the Lord Beloved!!!Beloved, how would your life look if you were surrounded, all day and every day, by God’s favor? Just think how different the things would be if the doors opened for you and you walked through each one covered with God’s favor. Would your daily activities and attitudes in every condition be any different, if you knew beyond any doubt, that success lies ahead just because you’re one of God’s favorites? Would you find the courage to lay down your apprehensions and uncertainties?OF COURSE, YOU WOULD!!!I have some Good News for you today Beloved!!!!Believe it or not, you already have God’s favor each and every day.You know Beloved, many Christians believe they must somehow earn the favor of God, but the truth is, we already have His favor. God saved us because of His favor toward us.In Ephesians 2:8 it tells us: “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God”.What the verse above is literally saying is, grace is favor.Beloved, God’s favor is the power that changes things for us. You see, first and foremost, you and I are saved by His favor, and I’m not just talking about going to heaven when we die. To be saved means to be delivered, protected, preserved, healed and made whole. This process happens before we die.God’s favor covers every area of our lives!!! By His favor, He has taken care of everything we will ever need “spirit, soul, and body”. His supernatural grace is so massive, the Bible says it’s going to take all the ages to come for Him to show us all the riches of His grace in the kindness He’s given us in Christ Jesus. Now, there maybe someone reading this and saying:Bishop Houston, I can’t wait until I get to heaven so that I can experience the fullness of God’s favor!!!And you know, you’re right!!! Beloved, you don’t have to wait!!! God is pouring out His favor on us right here and now. Even before we were born again, He was giving us His favor. While we were still rebelling against Him, Romans 5:8 says: “God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners”.Beloved, it was God’s grace at work in your life that enabled you to be born again. From the moment, you stepped into that new life, the moment you made Jesus Lord, God’s favor began working nonstop on your behalf. You see, being born again was just the starting place for His favor to pour out. And He’ll pour out grace and more favor to you every moment of your life if you’ll receive it!!!Psalm 5:12 says, “For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; with favor, You will surround him as with a shield”. Now, that scripture is talking about the born-again child of God who serves Him. (Not the SOMETIMIE” Christian)!!! Beloved, it’s talking about you, “The 24/7 I’M GOING TO BE OBEDIENT, SERVE YOU REGARDLESS OF WHAT TILL I DIE CHRISTIAN!!!Beloved, it is Jesus who made you righteous. When Jesus shed His blood, He made righteousness available to all mankind, and with it came the favor of God!!! God’s favor surrounds you constantly!!! You have been born again into His righteousness.Beloved, we should always see ourselves wrapped in God’s favor 24 hours a day. Every morning when you get up, throw off the covers and jump out of bed saying, “I am righteous. Lord, Your favor surrounds me like a shield.”Have a Blessed Day Everyone!!!

“Keep Your Head UP”
Bishop, Dr. W. F. Houston, Jr.You know Beloved, every now and then we can focus too much on our sinfulness and immorality.Every now and then we get trapped in a state of remorse, and we go into a state of hopelessness over our past sins.Or, every now and then we start worrying about our current weakness, and we beat ourselves up over it.Beloved, if you’re there, “it’s ok”, acknowledge it, confess it and repent of those things!!! Beloved, don’t stay there, don’t live in the past, and don’t dwell on them. No matter what you’ve done, no matter what labels you have, stop staring at those things, they no longer define you if you believe!!!Beloved, Jesus defines you now, so focus on Him. Not yourself, not your sins, not the past. And those present weaknesses you face? He’s making you more like Himself daily, by the power of His Spirit. So, look to His strength, not your weakness. It’s ok to focus on the good things in life, and there’s none better to focus on than the Lord.“So Keep Your Head UP”. -
Erase & Start Over
CHOF Ministry’s Scripture for Today
(Romans 10:17, NKJV)
“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”A Word from Bishop Houston
Beloved, are you permitting undesirable thoughts to suffocate your potential? Why don’t you start erasing those thoughts? The specialists or authorities may have told you that things are impossible or how it’s not going to work out, but those people don’t know what the God you serve has in store. He has the closing statement, the final approval, the final signature. He wouldn’t have placed that dream in your heart or given you that promise if He didn’t have a way to bring it to pass. It’s time to erase what the naysayers have told you. It’s time to erase the discouraging words. Erase the adverse reports.
Beloved, you’ve got to erase and start over. You’ve got to keep erasing those undesirable opinions and keep replacing them with the Word of God until you get back to your mental status God blessed you with, and stay focused until your faith is running like a well-oiled machine or in other words until your faith is stronger than your doubts.
Beloved, who told you that you can’t be successful? Who told you you’re not tall enough, not smart enough, or that you’ve reached your limits? I, Bishop, W. F. Houston, Jr. assure you that it did not come from your Creator. So, don’t let others set the parameters for your life. Erase those wrong thoughts or opinions, believe God’s Word, and embrace the blessing and success He has in store for you!!!
Have a Blessed Day Everyone!!!

“Cease Condemnation”
Praise the Lord Beloved!!! 😀
It is Friday and another weekend is upon us.
Beloved, as we go into this weekend let us be mindful of one another’s feelings. There are many people that absolutely despise someone, there are many people that are calling someone an outcast, and there are many people that are looking down on someone.Beloved, life is too short to hold grudges and have animosity over something that may have happened many years ago. Many people have changed their life and lifestyle. But there are many people that don’t allow people to change!!! They consciously hold them captive to their past. Come on be truthful, you know who you are.But now allow me to ask you a question right here: Did Jesus condemn the woman that was brought to Him by the religious leaders for her act of adultery. What about the Samaritan woman at Jacob’s Well? Let me remind you that this woman was ostracized and marked as immoral (by her own people), an unmarried woman living openly with her sixth man. Did Jesus condemn her? Of course not!!!Beloved, no one absolutely no one can live in the past. Many people (after their life has been transformed-renewed, and given salvation) are “very remorseful for their previous life of immoral experiences. So why continue to attempt to stomp them when they have been given salvation and they have changed their immoral clothing for moral attire. Many people haven’t seen some people in a long time. So, they try to hold them to the old life. Beloved, you know a tree by the fruit it bears. Many of you out there who are saved now, was a sinner in some point of your life and God granted you salvation. If God did it for you why can’t He do it for them? His Grace and Mercy is for everyone. So, this weekend, don’t condemn someone on what you use to know about them.Beloved, God loves us despite our bankrupt lives. God values us enough to actively seek us, to welcome us to intimacy, and to rejoice in our worship. So, this weekend, let’s do our best to perceive people as God perceives them, not as they use to be!!! The Word tells us to lift one another up, inspire one another, and let the Lord handle the vengeance.Have a blessed Weekend Everyone.

“Chosen to Be Unusual”
John 17:15-16
I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.Beloved as I read this morning’s scriptures, the word “peculiar” jumped out at me. Being peculiar. Beloved the word peculiar is an animated word, and it means (odd, strange, weird, unusual, irregular). This isn’t something most of us work to achieve.
But, you know, as Christians we should. Now, I know there are some of you asking:
WHAT ARE TALKING ABOUT Bishop HOUSTON???
Well, I’m Glad You Asked!!!Beloved, as a Christian we don’t do or think as the world do or think, that’s because God has chosen us to be peculiar in other words, He’s chosen us to stand out from the rest of the world as living proof of His power and His love. I love the way The Message Bible articulates 1 Peter 2:9-10, it says:
9-10 But you are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God’s instruments to do his work and speak out for Him, to tell others of the night-and-day difference he made for you—from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted.
Beloved, He doesn’t, for example, want us to share the disorders of the world. He doesn’t want us to share their conditions and deficiencies and disappointments. He’s never wanted that for His people.Beloved, He gave us a physical illustration of that during the time the nation of Israel was held incarcerated in Egypt. Pharaoh had rejected to set the Israelites free, so God had allowed a thick darkness to cover the whole land. Beloved, the darkness was so terrible throughout Egypt that no one moved for three whole days.
“BUT,” Exodus 10:23 says: “all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.”
HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!!!What an exciting inspirational example of how God wants us to live. We should be glorifying God by the astonishingly victorious lives we lead. We should constantly have people telling us, “I’ve heard how God healed you, delivered you out of prison, from that abusive relationship, from that addiction” or “I’ve heard how God prospered you and saved your children!!!” So, don’t hold back. Put the Word of God to work in your life and challenge to receive the rich blessings that belong to those who believe. Start using the Word to draw boundaries around your life, to paint spiritual warning signs for the devil. Signs that say:
“Off Limits!!! According to God’s Word, I don’t belong to you anymore. My family doesn’t belong to you. My health doesn’t belong to you. My money doesn’t belong to you. My ministry doesn’t belong to you. I belong to a different kingdom. Now, back off in Jesus’ Name!!!Now, does that sound a little unusual “peculiar”? GOOD!!!. That’s exactly what God has chosen you to be!!!
Have a Blessed Day Everyone!!! 😀
