Scripture
“You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; you have loosed my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness.”
— Psalm 30:11, ESV
Wisdom Whispers™
“Victory is not bragging when survival left receipts.”
– Bishop W. F. Houston Jr.
There comes a time when God does not just heal you privately; He restores you publicly.
Not because you need applause.
Not because you are chasing validation.
Not because your spirit is intoxicated with pride.
But because some victories are assigned to be visible.
David said, “You have turned for me my mourning into dancing.” The Hebrew word behind “turned” is haphak, meaning to turn, overturn, transform, or reverse. This is not cosmetic improvement; it is divine reversal. God takes the garment of grief and replaces it with the evidence of gladness.
Here is the Sugar-Free Gospel™ truth: everybody who watched you bleed may not be ready to watch you breathe again. Some people only knew how to recognize you in brokenness. They knew your pain, your mistake, your struggle, your silence, your wilderness, your almost, your setback. But when God lifts you, they do not always know what to do with the version of you that survived.
But you are not required to stay small so other people can stay comfortable.
Victory does not need to be loud to be real. But neither does it need to be hidden to be holy. Sometimes God lets the evidence stand in plain sight because somebody else needs courage to keep going.
So do not confuse testimony with arrogance. Do not confuse restoration with revenge. Do not confuse confidence with carnality.
If God brought you through it, let your life tell the truth.
You survived.
You healed.
You were delivered.
You were restored.
And now, by the grace of God, you stand.
This is not showing off.
This is showing proof.
Let Us Go Into The Throne Room Of Grace And Mercy.™
Father, thank You for every victory You allowed us to live long enough to see. Teach us how to stand in restoration without pride, how to testify without bitterness, and how to let our lives become evidence of Your power.
Let our survival encourage the wounded, strengthen the weary, and remind the broken that You are still able to turn mourning into gladness.
In Jesus’ name we pray… let Heaven bear witness.™
TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
Now, may the God who restored you give you the wisdom to walk visibly, humbly, and boldly in the evidence of His grace.
Innovating Faith. Advancing the Kingdom.
