Anchored in Unshakable Hope

Fill your thoughts and your plans with prayer.

C H O F Ministry Visual Reflection

🕊️ “God is our refuge and strength, a helper who is always found in times of trouble.”
Psalm 46:1 (CSB)

✨Beloved, if there’s one thing we can count on as the news gets buzzier and the future seems more hazy during the government shutdown, it’s that the Kingdom of God is not “shut down” or on “furlough”. If you find yourself getting anxious or frustrated in the coming days/weeks, as you or someone you know experiences delayed paychecks, unemployment or job loss, or simply lack of access to services that you count on, stop and take a breath. Breathe in and invite God to direct your mind and your actions. Fill your thoughts and your plans with prayer. Make every interaction you have with others, whether its coworkers, people waiting in line for assistance or your neighbor, a moment in which you walk in mercy. Be merciful. Be kind. Be patient. And, while doors are closed or services are limited in this world, know that the door to the Mercy of God stands wide open.

Have a Blessed Day and an “AWESOME” Weekend Everyone! 💙 😊
