In the Gospel of John, Jesus repeats the words “I am.” Seven times. In this repetition, we see the inclusiveness of His character. Each reverberation enhances another level of comprehension of His personality until we see how He’s formed impeccably. Jesus, as the Vine, is our Source of life—life today and perpetual life.
