In this morning’s verse David has clearly painted a picture of the “straight up in your face” hate that God has for malicious (wicked) activity. God despises an unscrupulous person. The few verses before verse 8 tells us that God will spare no one who plots evil, and God laughs at those that are evil because of their naive thinking. Beloved, God’s anger will consume the wicked. Can you recall times when you felt like you were drowning in this mortal life, or when God felt detached or like you had been knocked down? Ever felt like your sin was all consuming, or you keep falling short? Well, remember the God you serve.
He’s the God that hates evil and laughs at their naive thinking. God’s still there with you and He won’t let you be consumed. God’s more powerful than any evil thought or action you may have or experience. His hand is always out for you to hold onto, you just have to keep reaching for God’s unchanging hand. Amen? AAAmen. 😀
Beloved, life’s very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly candle. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them,
BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE – TOO LATE.
