Colossians 4:3-4 – “At the same time pray for us as well that God will open to us a door for the word, that we may declare the mystery of Christ, for which I am in prison, so that I may reveal it clearly, as I should.”
Praise the Lord Beloved, welcome to Mid – Week Word.
You know, God uses different people from all walks of life to spread the message of the good news of the Gospel so that He can transform their lives. And just like the Apostle Paul and his co-workers, they’ve dedicated their lives for the cause of Christ and by the grace of God. Those who have heard the message and believe have surrendered their lives to the Lord. And just like the Apostle Paul and his co-workers, they also need our prayers so that God will give them the opportunity to declare the Gospel clearly and effectively. One thing that you’ll notice in Paul’s prayer request is that he didn’t ask anything for himself, not even his freedom from imprisonment. He only wanted the opportunity to declare and effectively proclaim the Gospel. Therefore, we can also find here several principles regarding prayer requests.
Beloved, our prayer requests should not be self-centered, it should be according to God’s will, and it should result in glorifying God. So, you all keep praying, especially for the conversion of sinners, for the ministry of Christ and for the Glory of God.
Let us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the ministers You’ve sent to share with us the message of the Gospel. Lord, God we pray that You send Your Holy Spirit to guide them to teach the Holy Bible’s truth so more people will be converted to holiness and come to know You and Your great love for us.
In Jesus Mighty name I pray, Amen and Amen.
“To God Be The Glory”
