“FAITH”

Praise the Lord Beloved!!! Happy Friday to you all 😀

Let me start out by asking you a question. How do you feel about faith?

You know, I have met many people over the years and what I have come to realize is that many of them think faith is a helpful protection in case they need it, you know, like a spare tire for their car. I have found that many only turn to faith when facing tough issues, but then turn back to something more “reliable” when a crisis passes.

In the beginning Adam and Eve spent time in person with God, and they could ask Him anything. So, it may have been easier to have faith in God in the beginning. But when they violated God’s command, they fell into sin and everything changed. They lost their full relationship with God and became stuck in their own immoral ways. Then they could only catch glimpses of God’s presence and His work in this world as if they were squinting with blurred vision or on a very foggy day. They needed God to reveal Himself, and He often did that in the following years such as in the days of Abraham and his descendants and eventually Jesus, who became the Savior from sin. But back then (like today), many people turned away from God and put their faith only in things they could see, like the moon and stars (horoscope), or idols that they made.

Romans 1:17 says: “As it is written: “The righteous will live by faith.”

Beloved, this weekend don’t allow science, human logic, or modern thinkers stop you from believing in Our Heavenly Father, whom you cannot see. Having faith in Adonai, Jehovah, El Shaddai, Yahweh, God is not hard.

Dear Heavenly Father, this weekend please help us to understand faith and to know You.
