You know Beloved, during this 3-day Memorial Day weekend, many have been sitting by the pool, some of us have barbecued and taking it easy, and others this is the day that signifies summer is near. But let’s not casually forget, ignore, or just don’t care about what’s the real reason for the holiday.
Beloved, let us not forget the reason why we have these opportunities. To have the freedom to indulge into our elective comfort zones came at a price for many who served in our Armed Forces. If it wasn’t for the brave men and women who died while serving in our United States Military many of the luxuries we enjoy today would be non-existing. So, today, let us all take a moment to give our sincere thoughts to those who bravely gave their lives while serving in our Military.
So, where ever you are, please join me as I salute all the brave men and women who died for our country.
