  • Probing For Spiritual Answers – “SAY NO”

    Praise The Lord Beloved!!! ✝️❤️😊
This week’s question is: Bishop Houston, many people come to me and ask me to do different things and ask me for favors. I am a sympathetic person, and I am always putting myself in their position. But there are times I feel I’m being played, and when I go to them for a favor or ask them to do something for me, it’s like trying to get meat from an angry lion or an excuse why they can’t. Bishop, I want to know how do I say “no” to people without feeling guilty?

This morning’s question is a great one. Thank you for asking.
Answer: Beloved, saying no is an exceedingly tricky conclusion, especially saying no to those you love and faithfully care about. At one time, I had my internal bouts by not denying the request of others. That was until I learned to trust the Holy Spirit within me. I learned to allow Him to have His way. You see, the problem lies within; Its “internal, it’s your compassionate desire verses your spiritual aspirations. Beloved, when you remove you (your compassionate desire) and agree to permit the Holy Spirit within you to be your guide, you can say “no” without explanation, justification, or guilt. You will be able to let your yes be yes, and your no is no without any reservations.

Now, at times you will have to apply your spiritual discernment to discuss why you had to say “no.” You are going to have to let them know you are trusting the Lord to help you make decisions about specific (or all) areas of your life. Help them comprehend that He understands what lies ahead in every decision, and you cannot just lean on your own understanding or do your own thing without getting His approval!!!

And, when you do discern that you need to say “no,” DON’T WAVER. Your “no” may be the key to help others reconsider their idea or course of action. The Spirit could lead them to a better decision or approach.

But do not ever think you owe anyone an explanation for saying “no,” primarily if you have candidly and truthfully made clear to them who directs your life and how you make decisions!!! Amen? Amen.
    ✝️❤️😊

Beloved, I hope my answer has helped you.
    Thank you for your question.
    Bishop, W. F. Houston, Jr.

    Praise the Lord Beloved!!! 😀

You know in my life I have had my fair share of grief mainly because of the choices I’ve made. It wasn’t until I made the choice to put total faith in God when “my life” took its transformation. In other words, I completely turn my life over to Him and started believing what the Bible says.

Beloved, it wasn’t until I emphatically said YES!!!

Beloved, when I said YES, I’m all in, YES, I accept the words of God to rebuild the foundation of my life, YES, I want to be fulfilled with the effectuated anointed words of Jesus Christ, is when God approved of my life’s renovation and granted me the permit to experience life’s approvals.

Beloved, you too can experience life’s approvals when you allow God to be your master builder.

That’s right!!! No matter where you’re at, what’s troubling you today, or what has happened to you in the past, true gratification is close at hand. It’s found in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. And along with the gratification that God gives you, peace and joy will flood your life to a breathtaking degree!!! This gratification and peace isn’t temporary either, it’s not just here until something bad happens. Experiencing true fulfillment in God lasts for an eternity.

Beloved, you can live the way you were born to live, the way God anticipated for you to live!!! By saying emphatically “YES” to God, you’ll get God’s approval, so that you can live an improved, happier, and triumphant life for as long as you live.

    Let us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your approval and granting me gratification that’s way beyond anything I have ever known. Reinforce me as I continue to seek ways to serve You and find my joy and fulfillment in You.

In Jesus’ Name I Pray. Amen and Amen.

Have a blessed Monday Everyone!!! 😀

    A firm no means no

  • “Is God Angry?”

    Niecy's Concept Picture.png

The answer is a RESOUNDING YES!!!

This should not be a hard question for a Christian to answer.  Every Christian should be able to recognize that God is indeed Angry!!!

Today’s Society has turned into a Modern Day Sodom and Gomorrah.  There is so much corruption, crime and evil that is taking place every minute of the day.

Stealing, Killing, Cheating, Robbing, Bullying, Peer Pressure, Terrorist Activity, Sexual Immoralities, Disobedience, Lying, Adultery, Fornication, Embezzlement, Ponzi Schemes, Coveting, Jealousy and Idolatry are just some of the heinous activities and actions prevailing in our world today.

Understand that God is in the midst of handling “all” of these devious, malicious, and heinous activities that are taking place every minute of the day in our Society.

    Romans 1:18 (AMP)
18 For [God does not overlook sin and] the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who in their wickedness suppress and stifle the truth,
***God is not pleased with the non-stop devious, malicious, and heinous activities that are occurring; they have angered Him!!!!

If our Society is not careful and doesn’t change from its wicked ways, actions and activities; God will fully release His wrath again upon our Modern Day Sodom and Gomorrah just as He has done in the past.

    Genesis 19:24 (AMP)
24 Then the LORD rained down brimstone (flaming sulfur) and fire on Sodom and on Gomorrah from the LORD out of heaven.

In essence God’s Wrath is currently being shown to us through the increased historic disasters, turmoil, demise and devastation that are simultaneously happening throughout the world. His wrath should really serve as a wake-up call for all us.  It is indeed time for us to get our houses in order.

    God Bless you all,
    Have a great week! 😀
