  • “Don’t Allow the World to Change You”

    Romans 12 2 tranquil joy
    Romans 12:2 (NLT)
2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

  • “It’s OK To Cry Out To The Lord”

    14138234_1213527365372023_1713928445639838332_odddPsalm 57:1-3

Beloved, when you face a crisis, what is your first line of defense? Well for most, the natural response is to attempt to fix the problem in their own strength. But God, gives us a different way to handle difficulty.

Let me tell you about David. David was no stranger to stress or sudden appearances of evil. You’ll find in Psalm 57 he wrote, he was facing many hardships and also you’ll find in 1 Samuel 24, David was being pursued by King Saul, who wanted to kill him. The shepherd’s response was to cry out to God and take refuge in Him until the adversities had passed.

Let’s learn from David’s example by exploring his words.
Today, we’ll focus on the One to whom the psalmist cries.

*First, David refers to God as El Elyon, or Supreme Ruler. He’s the Most High with all power and wisdom, the only One who can help us in our need.

*Second, the Psalm says that God is our refuge. If He’s a place of shelter for our soul, then we don’t need to stress or panic. He covers us and protects us when issues come upon us and leave us feeling helpless.

*Third, the Psalm expresses complete confidence that the Almighty can and will accomplish all things. He’ll do whatever is necessary to intervene on our behalf, He will hold accountable those who oppose us, and also He’ll surround us with His love and truth.

During His time on earth, Jesus displayed great passion. So, we can approach Him when emotions run high. If your heart is troubled, It’s OK to cry out to the Lord. I want you to know that when you stand at the throne of Grace and Mercy, you will be standing in front of your powerful protector, who is more than capable and willing to do all you need Him to do.

    “God Bless You.

  • “Get Ready for Your Celebratory Banquet”

Bishop' inspirational word week 1 Get Ready for Your Celebratory Banquet“Get Ready for Your Celebratory Banquet”

    Praise the Lord Beloved. 😀
Beloved, God assures us that He will always lead us into victory!!! That means no matter what you’re facing, no matter what’s going on in the world around you, no matter what anybody says, you should always be planning for a comeback!!! In the middle of that adversity or tough time, start making your list of who you’re going to invite to your celebratory banquet. You don’t have to wait for everything to be perfect before you decide to celebrate what God is going to do in your life.

Beloved today, why don’t you step out and put some action behind your faith? In other words, if you’re in the hospital, start planning what you’re going to do when you get out. If you lost some money when the stock market went down, start planning your coming out of debt party. When things don’t look good in the natural, remember, we serve a supernatural God. With God leading you into victory, you can always plan for restoration.

“To God Be the Glory!!! “

  • “Remove Those Boundaries”

Bishop' inspirational word week 1 Remove those boundaries.png
Beloved, did you know you can put boundaries on your life by internalizing and holding on to the wrong things?

Many times, wrong thinking keeps people wedged right where they are. If you think you’ll never achieve your dreams, then you’ll stay trapped where you are. If you think you don’t have the talent, the connections or the funds, then you’re limiting yourself.

We must always remember that God’s assurances never return invalid. His Word stands true forever!!! Don’t limit what God can do in your life by focusing on what you see in the natural realm. You have to realize that you serve a supernatural God. God can bring one opportunity across your path that will lift you to a whole new level. 😀 He has explosive blessings in store that can blast you out of where you are and into a place of plenty!!! If you’ll shift your focus from your territory with all its boundaries and start looking at God’s supernatural territory, you’ll see His boundless possibilities for your future.

Beloved, remove those boundaries by setting your thoughts on what Almighty God can do in your life today!!!

To God Be the Glory!!!” 😀

  • First Lady Donece Houston’s “Christian Concept”

    Niecy's Concept Picture
In your Christian Walk; is it better not to know, than to know?

The answer is: It is better to KNOW, than not to know!!!

It would be very easy in our Christian walk if we were able to be excused for the sins that we commit as a result of not knowing any better.

Unfortunately just not knowing something doesn’t make it ok for us to engage in that act or activity.

That excuse is just not acceptable. In Hosea 4:6 (AMP) God states that his people are destroyed because of their lack of knowledge.
God has supplied a huge resource for our use so that we can be knowledgeable about what is acceptable to do and what is not.

Our main resource to use is the
    Bible (B)- basic (I)-instruction (B)-before (L)-leaving (E)-earth

The Bible covers all of the instructions that are needed to guide us through our Christian Walk while we are here on this earth.
In 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV) it shows us that in order for us to attain the knowledge that is needed to guide us through our daily Christian Walk that we must study so that we can show ourselves proper before God.

So in essence, it is up to us to learn and become knowledgeable about what is acceptable for us to do or not to do, so that we can present ourselves correctly before God.

*** Be advised that once we have acquired that knowledge and still choose not to do what is morally correct and expected then God will judge us accordingly.

    God Bless you all,
    Have a great week!

  • “God is Always Thinking About You”

Bishop' inspirational word week 4 God is Always thinking about you
Beloved, have you ever had difficulty receiving from God because you thought, “God has better things on His mind,” or “This isn’t that important to Him”? It may be tempting to let your mind wander in that direction, but the truth is that nothing is more important to God than you are!!! Every feature of your life matters to Him. Scripture tells us that He even counts the very hairs on your head. He bottles your tears and holds them as precious.

Beloved, you’re important to Him, and nothing that concerns you is too big or too small for God!!!

Today, if you’ve had those discouraging thoughts come to mind, replace them by proclaiming the truth of God’s Word. Declare, “God’s thoughts are precious toward me. I am always on God’s mind. He loves me and I matter to Him.”

Beloved, as you begin to replace the negative thoughts with the truth, your life will begin to change. You’ll see a transformation in your thinking. You’ll feel His love like you never have before, you will know Him in ways you’ve never known Him before, and you’ll experience His goodness and grace all the days of your life!!!

  • “Rejoicing Promotes”

Bishop' inspirational word week 4 Rejoicing Promotes.png
Beloved, when a friend or family member prospers, gets promoted, or experiences an unexpected breakthrough in life, how do you respond?

There are many people that wonder, “What about me?” Others criticize or say, “It won’t last long.” But if you are not aware, the way you respond to other’s success will determine the level of your own success. Whether you respond in a negative or positive way, you are sowing seeds for your future. That’s why scripture tells us simply to “rejoice with those who rejoice.”

Beloved, God wants you to be successful. His commands are for your good. He doesn’t want jealousy or conflict to enter your life or rob you of His blessing.

So if you see someone who is celebrating, celebrate with them. Congratulate them on their success no matter how small or how large it seems in the natural.
Rejoice with those who rejoice, sow seeds of blessing. This will open the door for victory in your own life in return!!!

    “To God Be the Glory!!!”

  • “If It Was Not for God”

Bishop' inspirational word week 4 If It Was Not for God.pngPraise the Lord Beloved!!! 😀
    Happy Tuesday to Everyone. 😀

Beloved, if it had not been for the goodness of God, where would you be? Some wouldn’t be alive today. Some would still be addicted and some would be still incarcerated (mentally, physically, morally, or spiritually). If it had not been for God’s favor some would still be struggling, barely making it. You may say, “Well Bishop Houston, I’ve got a long way to go.” And Beloved that may be true, but I want you to take a moment and look back over your life and realize how far you’ve come. The same God that brought you this far, is the same God that has kept you alive, this is the same God that is going to carry you through any difficulty you may be facing. The key is to just start praising and thanking Him for His goodness.

Beloved, thank Him for His favor and blessing upon you. Praise precedes the victory!!! Praise brings the walls of opposition down!!! Praise is the invitation for God to intervene on your behalf!!!

Today, I declare that the goodness of God is all over you!!! He’s directing your steps, and you’re following His lead!!! Beloved, I declare that your best days are ahead, and as you praise Him and thank Him, you’ll move forward into the victory and blessing He has prepared for you!!!

    “To God Be the Glory!!!”

  • “Is God Angry?”

    Niecy's Concept Picture.png

The answer is a RESOUNDING YES!!!

This should not be a hard question for a Christian to answer.  Every Christian should be able to recognize that God is indeed Angry!!!

Today’s Society has turned into a Modern Day Sodom and Gomorrah.  There is so much corruption, crime and evil that is taking place every minute of the day.

Stealing, Killing, Cheating, Robbing, Bullying, Peer Pressure, Terrorist Activity, Sexual Immoralities, Disobedience, Lying, Adultery, Fornication, Embezzlement, Ponzi Schemes, Coveting, Jealousy and Idolatry are just some of the heinous activities and actions prevailing in our world today.

Understand that God is in the midst of handling “all” of these devious, malicious, and heinous activities that are taking place every minute of the day in our Society.

    Romans 1:18 (AMP)
18 For [God does not overlook sin and] the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who in their wickedness suppress and stifle the truth,
***God is not pleased with the non-stop devious, malicious, and heinous activities that are occurring; they have angered Him!!!!

If our Society is not careful and doesn’t change from its wicked ways, actions and activities; God will fully release His wrath again upon our Modern Day Sodom and Gomorrah just as He has done in the past.

    Genesis 19:24 (AMP)
24 Then the LORD rained down brimstone (flaming sulfur) and fire on Sodom and on Gomorrah from the LORD out of heaven.

In essence God’s Wrath is currently being shown to us through the increased historic disasters, turmoil, demise and devastation that are simultaneously happening throughout the world. His wrath should really serve as a wake-up call for all us.  It is indeed time for us to get our houses in order.

    God Bless you all,
    Have a great week! 😀
