  • “A Definitive Oxymoron Statement”

Weekend Words A Definitive Oxymoron Statement.png
    Praise the Lord everyone!!! 😀
    Happy Friday. 😀

Beloved, to many people today, think this is a definitive oxymoron statement: in order for Christians to find life, we’re instructed to lose it for His sake. Sounds confusing to you? Well if it does, it’s because in today’s society the philosophy promotes principles that injects a mentality attitude that’s totally opposite, different and contradicting to this command. Today’s culture teaches principles about how to be selfish instead of to sacrifice. People in today’s society are told it’s not about what they can give but what they’re entitled to receive. That life isn’t about submitting to God’s authority but rather enjoying their legal rights and benefits as a Christian. Beloved, if we all continue to think this way, soon there’ll be no more Christians willing to serve others. If we really want to find true life, we must start by denying ourselves and take up the cross. In Matthew 19:21 (NLT), Jesus told him, “If you want to be perfect, go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.” So Beloved, we have to let go of pride (arrogance – ignorance) and God may even require us to release all possessions to Him. We need to realize that our life doesn’t belong to us but to God and He bought us at a price. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NLT) says: *19 Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself, *20 for God bought you with a high price. So, you must honor God with your body.

Beloved, if we live, we should live for the Lord, and if we die, we die for Him
As we go into this weekend let us keep Romans 14:8 (NLT) on our hearts:
If we live, it’s to honor the Lord. And if we die, it’s to honor the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

I love you all!!! And have a blessed Weekend Everyone. 😀

  • “Become a Contributor”

Bishop Sunday Morning Fortifide Stand Picture
Sunday Morning Focal Verse – Psalm 35:27 (AMP)
Let those who favor my righteous cause and have pleasure in my uprightness shout for joy and be glad and say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, Who takes pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.

Beloved, if old school religion has taught you that God wants you poor and oppressed, I have some good news for you TODAY!!! 😀 The Bible says, “God takes pleasure” in your prosperity. Beloved!!! God wants you to prosper!!! 😀 Not just in the financial realm but in every area of your life!!! In Your Spirit!!! In Your Soul and In Your Body. No matter where you are or who you are, God wants to see you delivered from every opposing situation. That’s because He loves you and He have a job for you to do. He wants you to help meet the needs of mankind and He’s smart enough to know that you can’t give away what you don’t have. You can’t give to spread the gospel or buy food for the hungry when you’re broke. 😀 You can’t go out laying hands on the sick when you’re lying in a hospital bed. You can’t minister joy to others when you’re being held captive by depression. No!!!!!!!!!! You have to be blessed to be a blessing. 😀

So Beloved, if you really want to tap into the riches of God today, you have to have a “I’m all in- I’m sold out for Jesus” mentality to be a blessing to others, and before you know it, you’ll be receiving more from God than you ever dreamed.

That’s what happened to me. I decided years ago, first and foremost, to be a giver. I developed a lifestyle of giving. Giving doesn’t always mean money – You can give your time, an ear to listen, you can apply your creative skills, use your God given talent(s) or lend a helping hand. Today, I literally “live to give.” And I don’t mind telling you, God dumps all kinds of blessings on me by the truckload!!! And I’m here to tell you, He’ll do the same for you if you’ll become His servant—if you’ll lay down a little of your life’s attributes and your love for those who need it.

All you have to do is become a contributor—and God will take pleasure in prospering you!!!

“To God Be The Glory. Have a blessed Sunday Everyone.” 😀

  • “Robbing God”

    Fortifide stand
Beloved, Malachi 3:8 starts out with a very serious question: “Will a man rob God?” There are many ways God is robbed. Isn’t even thinking about robbing God a scary thought? Well, people rob God all the time. People are being struck down instantly by an angel of the Lord when they don’t give glory to God!!! Many people are dying instantaneously every day for replacing God’s brilliant magnificence with their pride. No one is exempted, NOT royal family, prime ministers, NOR presidents. Beloved, pride is a very serious sin which causes anyone to believe they alone deserve all the credit, robbing the glory from God.

You know, when I read the book of acts, I compare every story or situation with today’s society. Over the years, we’ve come across people with egotistical claims like “I’m the best”, or “I’m the G.O.A.T”. They never acknowledge the One who had given them their gifts and talents. The word is always in reference to “I”. Just like in the enemy in Isaiah 14:12-14 who declared the infamous five “I will’s” of pride. He was cast down from heaven. If this was to occur today to what happened to Herod, it would be terrifying to the snooty, arrogant, self-important, conceited people. So, never test the Lord’s patience and always stay humble. Give God all the glory, honor and praise always because it belongs to Him, and in due season “HE WILL” exalt you – “He’ll open for you the windows of heaven and pour out just for you so many blessing you’ll run out of room to store them.

“To God Be The Glory. Have a blessed Sunday Everyone.” 😀
  • “Failure Doesn’t Want To Represent You”

Failure Doesn’t Want to Represent YouPraise the Lord Beloved!!! Happy Friday to you all. 😀 We’re on the doorsteps of another weekend – Thank You Lord.

You know, many people often see a failure as the end of everything. They look at their failure as the scariest thing that has ever happened in their life. I personally can relate to this apprehensive fear, and it doesn’t help the roller-coaster ride when you don’t have a very supportive village either.

Beloved, if you’re going through this unwanted experience I want to help you get rid of that uninvited emotion. I have a simple view about a failure. I’ve found the solution or (clause) that actually has never been lost or hidden. It just hasn’t been properly introduced to many, so recognizing it is impossible. I’ll give it to you in just a bit.

First,, lets look at failure. Failure is a teacher. Failure hands out only two test
1.The “RESPONSE Test and 2. The REACTION Test!!!” Failure test us on how we’ll react or respond when a letdown occurs from something or someone we place our hope in or trusted, or Failure will test our response or reaction when a missed opportunity that we took a chance on or misunderstood the guiding principle. There are times in our life we need to sit in Failure’s classroom. Beloved, Failure doesn’t want to represent who you are. NO!!! – It’s the people that don’t believe in you, don’t like you, hates you, those that are jealous of you are the the ones who desire you to carry the grade of “F-ailure” all your life. We’re only failures when we allow their attitude or actions to invest, and infest, our mind and emotions leaving us no room to approach another quest. In other words they suffocate your spiritual breath causing you to give up and live under the roof of defeat!!! But here comes the rescue cavalry I promised you earlier!!!

Beloved, Failure comes with a clause. And as I said earlier it has not been properly introduce so many don’t know about it to recognize it. To pass Failure’s test you may use: “Options and Alternatives.” That’s it!!! Beloved, Failure is one of life’s few classes that give’s you options and alternatives. Failure isn’t a representation of your ignorance or inability. What failure actually represents is an effort was made. Hey, the best way to know our weaknesses and missing components is to step out on faith. To build or reconstruct your faith you must take a chance or make an effort. There’ an old saying (I’m sure most of you have heard it) “If you don’t first succeed-TRY TRY AGAIN!!!” 😀

The only thing that beats failure is another try.

Failure is a GREAT teacher. Failures wants you to succeed. And believe it or not we’ve all set in the classroom of Failure.

So, as you go into this weekend and you have to sit in Failure’s classroom

remember these two things 1. Failure is not your representative. 2. “Options and Alternatives.

I love you all!!! And have a blessed Weekend Everyone. 😀
  • CHOF Ministry’s Reflection: “Gently Spoken Word”

CHOF Ministry Reflections template Gently Spoken Words.png

Praise the Lord, and welcome back to: CHOF Ministry Morning Reflection.

CHOF Sunday Morning Reflection is here to give our readers a brief observation about the CHOF Bible Fellowship Sunday Morning mini teaching, located on our CHOF Bible Fellowship Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/chofministry

This Morning our CHOF Bible Fellowship was called “Gently Spoken Words.”

This morning I spoke on how to be kind and gentle to people when they’re going through a rough situation. I have had to incorporate this into my life. All my life I’ve been around loud rough talking people. But as I’ve become acquainted with many people I’ve had to tone it way down and become more compassionate toward others as they travel through their difficult situations. I too, have been comforted with kind gently words myself and I’m sure there are many who need a gentle spoken word right now.

Beloved, the power of our words is a theme throughout Scripture. The admonition in Ephesians 4:29 is to build each other up through our speech. There are so many people that love bad mouthing others especially behind their backs. We are to lift one another up when the need or occasion is present. The book of Proverbs encourages its readers to get a grip on wisdom, and part of wisdom living is the right use of our words. That’s why many Proverbs speak about “words,” “speech,” the “mouth,” and “lips.” Proverbs 10:11 describes the tremendous power of words to invigorate and enrich others: “The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life.

Beloved let us all adhere to the Ephesians 4:29 admonition.
    Have a blessed Sunday.

  • CHOF Ministry’s Reflection-“Fitting In”

CHOF Ministry Reflections template Fitting In
Praise the Lord, and welcome back to:
    CHOF Ministry Morning Reflection.

CHOF Sunday Morning Reflection is here to give our readers a brief observation about the CHOF Bible Fellowship Sunday Morning mini teaching,

This Morning Our CHOF Bible Fellowship was called “Fitting In” and I spoke on how God’s love for us give us the feeling of fitting in. His love for us allows us to feel we have not just a place but a “special place.” He loves us just as much as parents love their child or children.

All through the Bible we see our Heavenly Father’s love for us. the imagery found in Isaiah 44, gives us the image of God’s Fatherly love. So, we must believe and treat God with respect and love just as an obedient child honors their parent.

We can see other examples in Scripture that tells us that God is our Father.

In the Old Testament, God is called the Father of Israel, not on a personal basis but as a nation.

In (Exodus 4:22), you’ll find that when God delivered the nation from slavery in Egypt, God declared that Israel is His “firstborn son.” In Deuteronomy 32:6 Moses reminded the Jews about to enter the Promised Land that Yahweh the Lord is their Father. In Jeremiah 31:9 God Himself said He is “Israel’s father.” Because of their sins, in Isaiah 5:13, Isaiah warned that the nation would go into exile. Then crying to Yahweh to restore them to the Promised Land, Isaiah 63:16 the Israelites said, “Surely you are still our Father!”

Now, in the New Testament, you’ll find that the Christian faith is a love relationship understood in the most basic of all human relationships, “A Father and a Child.” John 1:12, says: “Those who believe in Jesus are called children of God.  And of course, we can’t forget about Luke 15:11-31, the parable of the prodigal son. This is a picture of our loving and forgiving heavenly Father welcoming His wayward children into His arms.

Undeniably He’s “still our Father!!!” Beloved, if you haven’t surrendered your carnal behaviors, don’t you think it’s time to let them go and come home to your Father?

    Have a Blessed Sunday.

  • “Fitting In”

    36937366_1761716430576198_8165746871474585600_n
Our spiritual topic this morning is entitled: “Fitting In”,and this morning’s verse is Isaiah 44:2. This morning’s verse is coming out of the New Living Translation Bible and it reads this way: The Lord who made you and helps you says: “Do not be afraid . . . my chosen one.”

I’d been out late the night before, just as I was every Saturday night hanging out with my Transformer buddies. I was Just twenty something years old, and I was running from God as fast as I could. But suddenly, strangely, I felt compelled to attend the church my grandfather once pastored and the church my family has attended for many decades. I put on a pair of casual slacks, a shirt and tie, and some very worn dressed shoes and drove across town.

I don’t recall the sermon the pastor preached that day, but I can’t forget how delighted my mother was to see me. With her arm under my arm, she introduced me to everyone she saw, many of them I already knew, after all I grew up in the neighborhood. “This is my oldest son!!!” She proudly declared. Her joy became a picture of God’s love that has stuck with me all these decades.

Beloved, the imagery of God as a loving Father occurs throughout the Bible. In Isaiah 44, the prophet interrupts a series of warnings to proclaim God’s message of family love. “Dear Israel, my chosen one,” he says in verses 2-3: “I will pour out my Spirit on your descendants, and my blessing on your children,” Isaiah noted how the response of those descendants would demonstrate family pride. Verse 5 says: “Some will proudly claim, ‘I belong to the Lord,’” he wrote. “Some will write the Lord’s name on their hands.”

Disobedient Israel belonged to God, just as I belonged to my mother. Nothing I could do would ever make her lose her love for me. That Sunday I was given a glimpse of our heavenly Father’s love for us.

    Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, we all come from families that are broken in one way or another. Thank You for loving us in that brokenness and for showing us what real love looks like.

Beloved, God’s love for us offers us the sense of fitting in and an identity we all crave.

CHOF Ministry is here to help you feed your spiritual cravings.
Have a Blessed Sunday Everyone. 😀
  • “Seek The Lord”

    Seek the Lord
    (1 Chronicles 22:19 AMP)
Now seek the Lord your God with all your heart and soul.

Beloved, what things do you consider a dynamic requirement in your life? In other words, what can’t you live without? Most people would immediately think of food, water and shelter. But in reality, we can’t really live unless our minds and hearts are set on seeking the Lord. Sure, you can exist without seeking Him, but you’re called to more than just mere existence, you’re called to live, to prosper, to enjoy your life abundantly!!!

Beloved, today and every day, set your mind and heart on seeking the Lord!!! Write down your favorite scriptures and commit them to memory. Whenever you can, think about those verses. Meditate on God and His infinite love. When you start to seek the Lord with all your heart, you’ll truly live and enjoy the abundant life He has in store for you!!!

    Will you Pray with Me?

    Let’s Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, today I choose to set my mind on You. I seek You with my whole heart. Show me Your love and character today. Show me Your ways that I may walk and live closely with You. I love You in Jesus’ name I pray – Amen and Amen.

  • “Our Special Zone- The Reflection”

CHOF Ministry Reflections template Our Special Zone.png
Praise the Lord, and welcome back to:
    CHOF Ministry Morning Reflection.

CHOF Sunday Morning Reflection is here to give our readers a brief observation about the CHOF Bible Fellowship Sunday Morning mini teaching, or my observation about something unique.

You know, Luke gives us several miracles in rapid sequence. First, in Luke 8:22-25, Jesus calms a storm while out in a boat on the sea. In verses 26-39, Luke says when the boat reaches the other side of the sea, Jesus heals a man possessed by demons. Finally, in verses 40-48, Luke records that while going to heal the daughter of Jairus, a synagogue leader, Jesus heals a woman who had been suffering from bleeding for years. In the end, verses 48-50, Jesus brings Jairus’ daughter back to life.

Beloved, it’s my observation that those series of miracles show that nothing, “I MEAN NOTHING” nature, spirits, health, even life and death is outside of Jesus’s power and authority.

    Have a Blessed Sunday.

  • Sunday Morning Reflection On “Creation Identifies”

CHOF Ministry Reflections template Creation Identifies
Beloved, everything we see, hear, touch, smell feel, has a relationship with our creator. So, we all must identify the creation to get a glimpse of the creator. We must also learn to except co/exiting with the creator’s creation. It’s only then we’ll be able to recognize the tempest that come across or path and speak to it to quiet it.

We’ll be able to recognize the miracles that come before us and give thanks properly. We’ll be able to recognize when those are against you won’t worry because they will be replaced.

But without identifying with the creator we’ll never understand how to co/exist with His creation.

Have a blessed time at your spiritual edifice.
