Praise The Lord Everybody!!! God has blessed us to see another Sunday with you.Let us all remember to wash our hands and continue to stay in compliance with social distancing. ✝️❤️😊Beloved, Satan aspires to minimize or make Christians feel less sensitive to the wickedness of sin. He wants you to stop grieving or being sad over sin and start rejoicing when encountering Immorality. Just because you deem yourself a Christian doesn’t remove you from Satan’s ambitions. Many Christians once believed they were excluded because of their faith in Christ. They became a victim to his power because they lost focus. And let me warn you-it usually doesn’t occur all at once. The method can be gradual and imperceivable— almost unnoticeable. But the results are very tragic.First, you must always stay alert, looking for the possibilities of sin and on guard to defend yourself from negotiating. You have to be mindful of your sin. In Psalm 51:3, David said, “My sin is always before me.” In Isaiah 6:5, Isaiah cried out, “Woe is me! For I am ruined, Because I am a man of [ceremonially] unclean lips, And I live among a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.” In Luke 5:8, Peter said to Jesus, “Go away from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!” In I, Timothy 1:15, Paul called himself the chief of sinners as you can see, each man shared a reciprocated recognition of their Immorality, and it led them to God for forgiveness and cleansing.Second, you “must” remember the importance of the cross. You see, if you permit a form of Immorality to create in your life, it will expand, which will cause you to forget the massive price Christ paid to exempt you from its repression.Third, comprehend the impact sin has on others. In Psalm 119:136, the psalmist said, “My eyes weep streams of water because people do not keep Your law.” In Matt. 23:37 Jesus grieved over Jerusalem, saying, O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who murders the prophets and stones [to death] those [messengers] who are sent to her [by God]! How often I wanted to gather your children together [around Me], as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling.” Your heart should hurt for those confined to Immorality.Beloved Immorality is a severe issue with God. He never has a twinkle in His eyes for Immorality nor takes it lightly.Lastly, reject anything that impedes your understanding about sin, things like intentionally sinning, denying God’s forgiveness, being arrogant, taking credit for God’s grace, or taking sin casually. These kinds of things will immediately dim your spiritual senses and give Satan the chance to lead you into a more significant infraction. ✝️❤️Let Us Pray:Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing relief and joy to those who express grief over their Immorality. Father God, please guard my heart against anything that will weaken my compassion and understanding of the misery of Immorality. In Jesus’ Name, I Pray, Amen, and Aaamen. ✝️❤️To God Be The Glory. “Liberated Captive”
Praise The Lord Everybody!!! Happy Sunday to you!!! Let us all remember to wash our hands and continue to stay in compliance with social distancing. ✝️❤️😊Beloved, emancipation is priceless. Throughout history, people have begged, battled, and even perished for it. Beloved, our Declaration of Independence upholds it as one of our indisputable civil rights.But the truth is, it doesn’t matter what one’s political views might be, everyone is a slave—either to immorality or to God. Jesus said in John 8:34: “everyone who sins is the slave of sin.” In Romans 8:21, Paul added that all of creation is in slavery to corruption. Yet, according to Romans 6:22, believers have “been freed from sin and enslaved to God.” The Roman Empire had about twenty million slaves. Slave trade was a significant industry. A recovery price had to be paid for a slave to gain his or her independence. Now, the Greek word for this kind of transaction is lutroō. In Ephesians 1:7, Paul uses the Greek word lutroō to speak of our “redemption” from sin’s bondage.Beloved, Servitude to sin is bondage; servitude to God is liberty. That sounds contradictory, but God is the Sovereign King, and real independence means having the capability to bend your will to His, in other words, become all God has formed you. Sure, you will fail at times, but your extreme desire and main quest as a believer is to be like Christ (*1.) Those incarcerated to sin cannot do that, nor do they want to.Beloved, it’s time to validate your proposal to Jesus. Let your attitudes and actions speak clearly of your love for the Master. ✝️❤️Let Us Pray:Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for keeping it real and being fair. You always provide what’s best and the safest for me. Lord, provide me with the strength that keeps me from seeking my interest. I understand that exploring my desires incarcerates me and is a contradiction to Your terms. Continue to guard me against my thoughts and actions that are contrary to Your will. In Jesus’ Name, I Pray, Amen, and Aaamen.✝️❤️To God Be The Glory. “Critical Errors”
Samson was an arbitrator and a soldier. He was also significantly blessed with amazing strength. He tormented the Philistines who were his nation’s enemy. But Samson was a very rebellious and disobedient man and over time he became hardened to sin. He should have known and behaved better being a marked man by his enemies. He unveiled the foundation of his strength to his enemies which led to his downfall. He also ended up losing his eyes in the most vicious way. He was chained and displayed in the enemy’s land like a tracked animal that was caught by the hunter. He was booed, laughed at, made fun of and was forced to do hard labor in prison. It’s tough to imagine that in a moment of weakness, everything was taken away from him. The penalties were brutal and unfortunately irreparable.Beloved, we must let his life be a message and caution to us about the after-effects of persistent disobedience and disregard for God’s laws. Doing things our way persistently makes our conscience callous. Don’t wait until you’ve made a critical error like Samson. As long we’re alive, there’s hope for us and God’s ready to forgive and restore us.

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us the possibility to come back to You. Lord, we respectfully ask for Your compassion and repent of anything in our lives that are not satisfying to You. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen and Amen.

“We Are Responsible”
Praise the Lord Believers in the Christian faith.When the priest Ezra heard how the rest of God’s people had broken God’s law by marrying the women of the land, he tore his robes and cried like a newborn baby and fasted. The people followed his lead and felt guilty about their sin. It was the people who encouraged him to tell them what to do to set things right with God. Ezra replied with the verses on this morning’s picture marquee – “…make confession to the Lord God of your fathers and do His will. Separate yourselves from the peoples of the land and from [your] foreign wives.”
Beloved, there are many of us who don’t live in Israel and never prohibited to marry a certain group of people, but the principle remains the same. That’s why the Apostle Paul told us not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers. That could apply to marriage or business. You see, when we recognize we’re with people of evil practices, we shouldn’t commit ourselves to any type of cohesive endeavor with them. How Can Two Walk Together Except They Be Agreed?
Now there’s also a deeper principle. WHAT FELLOWSHIP DOES LIGHT HAVE WITH DARKNESS? If we’re walking in the light, we’ll be disgusted (nauseated) by the sin and have a desire to show them the way to be freed from its bondage. There are some Christians that will play on the edge of the cliff of sin because the allurement is attractive to them. In other words, THEY THINK IT’S A GAME!!! They’ll create a line where there’s a danger of being caught by sin then try to stay far enough behind the line without being caught.” Beloved, let me ask you this question: Would you walk along the very edge of a cliff? It’s that simple.In this final chapter of Ezra, the men sent their foreign wives and children away. Now, that seems very harsh of God, but the situation existed because of disobedience to God. It was the only thing to do. Not dealing with the issue had caused the downfall of Israel in the past. Beloved, it’s imperative that we cut off from our lives the thing that’s enticing us to sin and send it away from our lives if we’re going to go on with God.CHOF Ministry’s Mid-Week Prayer:Dear Heavenly Father, this morning I confess my sins to You, the ones I am aware of, the ones that I’ve not asked you for forgiveness, and the ones of my past. As I continue to do what you ask and instruct me to do, I will continue to strive all day every day to separate myself from the sins that attempt to separate me from Your blessings. “Get It Right On the Inside”
Praise the Lord Believers in the Christian faith.You know, many times we ask God to repair the anomalies around us when what He really wants to do is resolve the problem within us. I’ve done that on many occasion especially when it comes to my weight. I used to pray and pray for God to help me lose weight. Yet I experienced repetitive disappointment. I would literally loose many pounds, only to gain them right back again.Finally one day, I made a firm decision. I said God, “I’m not going one step further until I find out what to do about this!!!” Then I went on a fast. I closed off anything that was going to hinder me until I heard from God.Beloved, during that fast the Lord exposed the actual cause of my problem. He showed me that I wanted to lose weight, but I didn’t want to terminate my eating habits. I was like an alcoholic who wants to be able to drink continuously and not be affected by it. I wanted to eat huge plates of food 4 times a day and get my weight down to 200 pounds!!!Then it hit me!!! I realized God wasn’t content for me to simply get rid of the extra pounds on the outside of me. He wanted me to get rid of the sin of gluttony on the inside of me. So, I repented of that sin right then and there. I also recognized just how hard it is for a person who drinks or have an addiction to face the fact that they’re an alcoholic or addicted to a substance. WOW-it hurts to admit something like that. So, instead of asking God for liberation from my weight problem, I asked Him to liberate me from my excess eating habit.Well, I’m pleased to announce, He has. 😀 I still barbecue large, but I don’t eat large plates of food and my weight is decreasing. “Hallelujah!!!! 😀Beloved, if your prayers don’t seem to be changing the problems around you, maybe it’s time to take a look inside. Maybe it’s time to ask God to go to work on the heart of the matter.Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. “Pure/Sure Love”
Praise the Lord Beloved. Forgive me for the late post.Stayed up and watched the Raptors vs. Warriors basketball game last night. I hope your day has started off awesome. 😀You know a couple of my desires in life was to find a mate and a networking family that loved me just as much as I loved them, and to have a pure/sure “Unadulterated Unquestionable” love, one without hidden agendas and/or worldly material characteristics. I thank God for my beautiful spirited wife (Donece – “Niecy”) and those of you who have solidified your unconditional interactions with me and CHOF Ministry.
Beloved, to know that you’re loved affects much in your heart and your mind which affects your emotions. A huge factor that impacts the attitude of the child is the feeling that their parents love them. The love of God is unlimited, and it exceeds all our immoralities. His love is higher than anything in this world, and that kind of love is freely given to us. That’s why God can save us from all our sins. 😀 His love is greater than all our sins.
Therefore, we who have experienced this kind of love should reproduce it towards those around us. We can share God’s great love with others in many ways. But first, we have to realize and recognize that God loves us so, so, so much. At times we don’t realize that’s why many people are still in an unhappy place or situation, disheartened and disconnected, hostile and unreceptive, and in pain – hurt. But when we come to understand that God loves all of us so, so, so much, it’ll bring us pure/sure joy and hope, and it’ll change our attitude towards many things in life. Amen? – Aaamen.

“Release the Movement”

This morning I’m going to speak on disciplining the flesh. For many believers (including myself) disciplining the flesh stirs memories of frustration and failure. Many (like myself) know it’s important. The Word of God clearly teaches that. But for many, they’re not sure exactly how to go about it. Some have given up, brushing off such discipline as impossible. Others are still fighting stubbornly to get their flesh under control and losing one battle after another.
This morning I’m here to tell you, it doesn’t have to be that way. In fact, we can’t afford to let it be that way. It will cost us too much.
You see, you and I are blessed to be part of the generation that will see the signs and wonders which the prophets of old wished they could’ve lived long enough to see. We’ll witness the Spirit of God poured out upon all flesh. But sin hinders the Spirit’s movement. And only as we rid ourselves of it will the power and glory of God be manifest through us. Only then will we experience the glorious things that are prophesied to take place in our generation.
So Beloved, put your past failure behind you. Make up your mind that you’re not going to let the sins of the flesh rob you of the glory of God. It’s possible to step out of the sin you’ve struggled with for so long and live under the Spirit’s control.
Look to Jesus!!! 😀 He’ll show you how.

“I Got This!!!”
Yesterday after service a brother stopped me as I was headed out the door to my car, he called out “Bishop Houston, can I talk to you before you leave?” I stopped and waited for him to catch up to me. He said, “Bishop, it happened to me!!! I didn’t think it could happen to me!!! But it did!!!” So, I told him to slow down, catch his breath and let’s take it from the top. He said, I don’t know how or when I lost focus, but I got involved with this ol’ girl and it’s about to destroy my marriage. I never thought anything like this would ever happen to me.
Beloved, He’s not alone. You see, it’s very easy to think we’re immune to sin and temptation.That’s because we apprehend a disorder called, “I GOT THIS SYNDROME”.Many of us go to church and try to live right. Sometimes we even shake our heads when others fall into sin, and more than one Christian has said, “That will never happen to me – I GOT THIS.” But, that’s when we become tremendously susceptible. In Galatians 6:1, Paul warns us against the I GOT THIS SYNDROME, he says, “Watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted”.Beloved, I just love Psalm 51:10-13 especially verse 10: “create in me a pure heart and renew a right spirit within me”. We all would do well if we made David’s prayer in verses 10-11 our daily prayer. No matter how strong we might think we are or what our good intentions might be, we’re no match for Satan.Beloved, David was speaking from experience when he prayed, “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.”This week why don’t you take some time to memorize that prayer or do what I do when I want to remember something, write it out and put it on your refrigerator door or put it on your bathroom mirror. Pray it often.Beloved, it’s only with the assistance of the Holy Spirit do we have the power to resist temptation.Will you pray with me?Let’s pray:Dear Heavenly Father, “Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a right (correct) spirit within me. Don’t remove me from Your presence or take Your Holy Spirit from me.”In Jesus’ Mighty Name I Pray,Amen and Amen.
