  • “What Are The Various Forms of Prayer?”

Probing For Spiritual Answers What Are The Various Forms of Prayer
Q: Bishop Houston, since the COVID-19 has entered our world I have never seen so many people praying. People are praying all over the internet. Can you please tell me, sir, what are the various forms of prayer?

    Answer:
Thank you for your question – Yes.

Prayer is always a great solution.

Beloved, no matter what form of prayer you pray, it’s virtually connecting with God. It’s a chance to talk with God. Contribute what’s on your mind, how you’re feeling emotionally, and tell Him your desires, and it allows Him to answer you. It’s not complicated. It’s very uncomplicated because what’s most crucial is that your prayers be honest and not self-persuasive.

Beloved, increasing your knowledge of prayer is a great thing. Some people make prayer seem difficult. Praying isn’t complicated. We, as spiritual leaders, need to do a better job to increase proper understanding and appreciation of the various purpose prayer can provide. Below I’ve listed the core forms of prayer revealed in Scripture:

*Matthew 18:19 – The prayer of understanding means two or more of you agree. Beloved when you pray with more than yourself, it enhances the energy ten times your ability.

*1 Peter 5:7 – The prayer of loyalty. This prayer is a prayer you place your concerns on the Lord.

*James 5:14-15 – The prayer of Faith. This prayer is a prayer that announces your belief, trust, and confidence that God can restore your association or body.

*Ephesians 5:20 – Is the prayer of thanksgiving. It merely offers expressions of gratitude to the Lord.

*1 Timothy 2:1-2 – This is the prayer of intervention. It’s praying to save those that have failed, are misunderstood or have been misguided.

Beloved prayer’s a compelling event, and God wants you to walk in the fullness of it. Amen? Aaamen. ✝️❤️😊

This Week Probing For Spiritual Answers Question Porn and in immoral activity
    Praise The Lord Beloved!!! ✝️❤️😊

    This Mornings Question is:
Bishop Houston, I’ve caught my spouse looking at Porn and in an immoral activity several times lately. I am frustrated! WHAT DO I DO?

This is an awesome question and a question that’s a very hot topic these days. Thank you for asking!!! 😊

    Answer:
Beloved, at one-time pornography, wasn’t looked at as life’s everyday feature. If a person chose to look at porn, they had to go to the back of a convenience store (when no one was around) where the decadent magazines were located or go to an adult bookstore. Well, those days are long gone, morals have been kicked to the curb!!! Turn your T. V on and pornography in some form is wide open and it’s not just on cable or its applications. Did you watch the Super Bowl Sunday? Today sex and immoral activity are selling products everywhere. Sex, pornography, and immoral activity are on prime time. If you own a smartphone, tablet or computer pornography is just a click away. Every day good men and women are seduced by pornography and immoral activity. Pornography and immoral activity have spilled into today’s churches, ministries, and workplaces.

Beloved, if your spouse understands the unfavorable consequences of pornography and immoral activity use to his/her own spiritual good-life and the damage it does in his/her relationships, then it’s your obligation to have confidence in your spouse.

Pornography and immoral activity are one of Satan’s methods to deceive and ambush men and women to fulfill his greatest intent (John 10:10) “to kill, steal and destroy” lives.

Now your job is to Pray God’s Word over your spouse. 1 John 5:4-5 (AMP) says, “*4 For everyone born of God is victorious and overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has conquered and overcome the world—our [continuing, persistent] faith [in Jesus the Son of God]. *5 Who is the one who is victorious and overcomes the world? It is the one who believes and recognizes the fact that Jesus is the Son of God.”

Beloved, God wants to liberate your spouse from those things that would be an impediment to his/her life, and Jesus has made it viable to do so!!!

Prayer is essential. Here is a prayer template:
“Dear Heavenly Father, ________ (spouse’s name) has committed a sin against You and right now I’m standing in the gap on his/her behalf, proclaiming he/she desire to turn away from that immoral activity and unschedule it from their life’s choices. I thank You for Your compassion and pardon for this sin, and by faith, I stand in the gap for his/her purging from all sin by the blood of Jesus. I confess over him/her Your emancipation to live a holy life right now, in the name of Jesus I pray Amen and Aaamen!!!”

Beloved, according to Mark 11:22-25 the crucial element to your answered prayer, is when you stand praying, “YOU FORGIVE”. Your stance in faith must include forgiving your spouse for the sin against you and your relationship.

Now Let Go and Let God!!! 😊 It’s time to allow God to have His way in your spouse’s life. Your job is to daily thank Him for liberation according to the Word you have prayed and believed!!! Amen? Aaamen. ✝️❤️😊

  • Probing For Spiritual Answers”

This Week Probing For Spiritual Answers Question Is optimistic confessions
    Praise The Lord Beloved!!! ✝️❤️😊

    This Mornings Question is:
Bishop Houston, why do some people’s optimistic confessions have positive outcomes and other peoples don’t?

This is an awesome question and thank you for asking!!! 😊

    Answer:
Well, for one, you have to realize that words can be very influential and powerful. The Word of God doesn’t leave any room for skepticism about that. Now, there has been some confusion between believers about how we can put that energy to work in our lives.

For instance, some people have the impression that they can just jump up once and say, “I believe I’ll receive a million dollars today” and by some means become a millionaire by the end of the day. And that’s very irrational.

To establish the distinction between faith and idiocy where confession is concerned, we have to go straight to the Word of God. Mark 11:22-25 (AMP) says:  22 Jesus replied, “Have faith in God [constantly]. 23 I assure you and most solemnly say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea!’ and does not doubt in his heart [in God’s unlimited power], but believes that what he says is going to take place, it will be done for him [in accordance with God’s will]. 24 For this reason, I am telling you, whatever things you ask for in prayer [in accordance with God’s will], believe [with confident trust] that you have received them, and they will be given to you. 25 Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him [drop the issue, let it go], so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions and wrongdoings [against Him and others].

Now, I want you to see several things about that passage of Scripture. It does say that you can have what you say. But it also defines some requirements you must meet:

*1. You must have faith in God.

*2. You must be willing to “say” something to your mountains (difficulties, desires, etc.)

*3. You can’t have any doubt.

*4. You must have confidence in your own words. You must believe in your mind that what you say will come to pass.

*5. You must believe you receive what you desire when you pray “Not When You See It Happen.”

*6. You must “speak” what you believe.

    *7. You Must Forgive Everyone.

Now I want you to also know that there’s much more to true Bible-based confession than simply “identifying it and asserting it.” To release the true power, your words must have faith behind them. We see that principle function in the negative all the time.

Allow me to give you an example: someone will say, “Well, we’re organizing our annual trip in 6 months. But I can tell you right now, there’ll be someone that will get on this list and back out at the last minute. They do it every time we plan this trip.”

Without a doubt, this is going to happen just as they said it would. Now He didn’t mean to use his influence of confession, but he did. He freed faith with those words – Not Faith In God, He was saying what he truly believed, and he received it just like he spoke it.

Beloved, you can’t get around it. It’s a spiritual law. To put that spiritual law to work “FOR” you instead of “AGAINST” you, you must cultivate a different kind of faith. You have to create your faith in the Word of God. You have to build that Word inside you by hearing it and hearing it. Romans 10:17 (AMP) says: So, faith comes from hearing [what is told], and what is heard comes by the [preaching of the] message concerning Christ.

So, when that Word becomes a part of you, it’ll begin to come out of your mouth. You’ll say it almost without thinking. Matthew 12:34 (NLT) tells us: “…For whatever is in your heart determines what you say.” That’s when your words become influential, strong, and effective. The key is they have to agree with God’s Word and come from your heart. That’s because those words encompass the authority of God Himself.

Beloved, the power of optimistic confession can’t be worked like a gimmick – publicity stunt. Have you seen the post that says: “Share this post with X number of friends including me and you’ll receive X amount of money?” 😊

Optimistic confessions are a lifestyle. You have to conscientiously seek God. Hebrews 11:6(NLT) says: “And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him.”  You have to meditate in His Word day and night. Joshua 1:8 (NLT) says: “Study this Book of Instruction continually. Meditate on it day and night so you will be sure to obey everything written in it. Only then will you prosper and succeed in all you do.” 😊 Once what He says, and what you say line up then you’ll see the power of His Words in your words!!! Your words will become very deep, profound.
Beloved, with complete faith and power, you can’t help but have what you say!!! Amen? Aaamen. ✝️❤️😊

  • “God Is Great, God Is Good”

    11 12 2020 week 1 Bishop Houston's Sunday Morning Church John 6 1 15.png
    Praise The Lord Everyone!!! ✝️❤️😊

You know when I was younger, we were taught to pray before every meal. We each had a personal short prayer we recited before we picked up a fork or spoon. One of my sibling prayers at mealtime was “God is great, God is good, let us thank Him for our food. Amen.” This is a conventional mealtime prayer but it’s an awesome mealtime prayer because it articulates the importance of being appreciative. We’re to give thanks to God for everything we have because every single blessing we receive comes from God Himself.

In verse 2 of our scripture reading this morning, we see that crowds following Jesus were massive. The talk had circulated everywhere about Jesus’ astonishing signs of healing the sick. People had come from all over to witness the healing and more. Then the disciples contemplated the best way to feed the thousands of people that were gathered to hear and see Jesus. The Apostle Andrew came up with an innovative plan.

He volunteered a boy’s lunch as an answer to their conundrum. Jesus accepted the five small rolls and a couple of fish which were the size of sardines, gave thanks, dispersed the food, and multiplied it to meet the needs of all the people.

Beloved, what we occasionally miss in this story is that Jesus paused to pray and give thanks. We remember the crowd, the miracle, the disciples, but my question to you this morning is how often do we wonder about Jesus’ prayer? What was Jesus actually thankful for? Was it for the boy who gave up his lunch? Was it for the Apostle Andrew who had come up with the creative idea? Or maybe it was for the boy’s mother who was wise enough to pack a lunch for her son? 😊

Our text doesn’t tell us, but there’s one thing we know for sure about the prayers of Jesus, without a doubt we can be sure who Jesus gave thanks to – God the Father. Jesus paused and thanked the Father before that hillside meal, just as He did when He passed the wine and bread during His last supper before His death.

Beloved, we too can give thanks, keeping in mind that God is great, and God is good. We should thank Him for the food that nurtures us and even more because it’s His sacrifice that gives us life.

    Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for blessing us with the provisions that help us as we partake our life’s journey. We give thanks to You and only You because there’s no other like You that provides what we need. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen and Aaamen.

Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will enter our earthly room and blow out our candle. So, reach out and touch the ones that need your agape, dissolve the divisions among you, continue to encourage one another, be united in the same mind, the same reasoning and continue to build one another up.

I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have a Wonderful Sunday. ✝️❤️😊

  • “God’s Spiritual Stealth”

    12 16 2019 Philippians 1 6 God's Spiritual Stealth

Peace to all of you who are in Christ.

Beloved, allow me to ask you a question: “Have you ever prayed for God to adjust your heart?” You know, change your mind or attitude on something. Perhaps you asked Him to provide you insight, comprehension, or to educate you – give you greater detail about something in particular. Well, I sure have. 😊 there were times in my life I expected things to happen immediately, but then a week goes by and from my point of view nothing seemed to have changed. Well, this morning I want you to be encouraged!!!😊 Because God awards that form of prayer!!! One day you’ll look back at all God has instructed you about that issue or question and you’ll comprehend that He was working on your heart and that all along He was educating you without you seeing it. God’s Spiritual Stealth is always working. 😊

Beloved, transformation, and understanding come with time, so don’t be disappointed if you’re not where you want to be right now. Whether you recognize, understand it or not, God’s working!!! The Christian life is an expedition and this moment is only one tiny part of it. You can be confident when I say to you that He’ll finish the work He has started in you.

    Amen? Aaamen. ✝️❤️😊

    Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, You’re a terrific teacher. Thank You for educating us in a way we’ll comprehend, whether we know You’re doing it or not!!! In Jesus’ name, I pray,
    Amen and Amen. ✝️❤️😊

Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will enter our earthly room and blow out our candle.
