  • “The Antidote to Envy – A Heart Full of Gratitude”

    C H O F Ministry’s Unified Manna
“Faith: More Than Belief, a Lens to Reimagine”

Good morning! 🌅 Let’s embark on today’s journey with an open heart and an eager spirit.

Scriptural Insight – Proverbs 14:30 (CSB)
“A tranquil heart is life to the body, but envy is rottenness to the bones.”

    C H O F Ministry’s Synopsis:
This scripture vividly illustrates the destructive nature of envy. Just as a peaceful heart can rejuvenate and give life, envy, on the other hand, can corrode our inner peace and physical well-being.

    🗣️Bishop Houston’s Contemplation:
Today, let’s ponder on the destructive power of envy and the beauty of embracing our unique paths. In a world inundated with social media highlights and success stories, it’s almost instinctive to fall into the comparison trap, measuring our progress against others. However, this only breeds discontentment and a sense of inadequacy. 🌱

The wisdom from Proverbs 14:30 invites us to seek tranquility in our hearts, serving as a reminder that the only true competition we have is with ourselves. Cultivating gratitude for our journey, regardless of how it compares to others, nurtures our spirit and bolsters our health. 🌺

When faced with the challenge of others’ negativity or attempts to undermine our achievements, let’s respond with grace and a steadfast commitment to our integrity. Recognizing that such behaviors stem from their insecurities allows us to extend empathy rather than hostility.

Embracing our individuality and supporting each other’s growth fosters a community where everyone can flourish. Beloved, let’s make a conscious effort to replace envy with appreciation, celebrating our accomplishments and the unique contributions of those around us. Together, we can illuminate the world with our collective light. ✨💖

“Let Us Go into The Throne Room of Grace and Mercy:”

🙏🏽 Lord, we thank You for the bountiful blessings You have bestowed upon us. Grant us the wisdom to recognize the destructive force of envy and the strength to replace it with a heart full of gratitude. Help us to appreciate our journey, celebrate the success of others, and contribute positively to the world. May our lights shine brightly, reflecting Your love and grace. To God Be the Glory. 🙏🏽

    Have a Blessed Wednesday Everyone. 🕊️ 💙😊

  • “Connecting with His Objective”

    March 29 2020 week 3 and 4 Bishop Houston's Sunday Morning Church John 20 21
Praise The Lord Everybody!!! Happy Sunday to you!!! ✝️❤️😊

Arriving behind sealed doors, Jesus shows the disciples His wounds. But before He does, He articulates his words and voice to them to calm down their fears and give them a holy mandate. Two distinct times He says, “Peace be with you!” In the King James Bible, it reads, “Peace be unto you.” Now take a moment to allow those words to resonate in you. I need you to feel what Jesus is speaking.

Beloved, it’s not until we’ve calmed down and at peace, we’ll be sensible enough to line up to connect with His objectives – His intentions. When there’s fear and worry, we’re self-consumed and paralyzed. So, my questions for you as we continue to encounter the COVID-19 “WHERE ARE YOU TODAY? Are you behind any self-locked doors?”

Believe it or not, we live behind our personal sealed (protected) doors when we’re mesmerized by apprehension, regardless of what it is or where it is. Beloved, the reassuring words of Christ are never more essential than now for us!!! Listen To His words for you today, “Peace be with you!!! – Peace be unto you!!!” Just like the disciples, it may take listening to that more than once for it to sink in. So, listen to it again, “Peace be with you!!! – Peace be unto you!!!” Inhale It. Reflect on it right now. Stay here until you have the feeling of His peace “Tranquility,” circling your heart and soothing your spirit. Going forward without it will create only anxious, agitated activity and frantic confusion.

Beloved, when we’re feeling the peace of Christ in our lives, we’re prepared to line up and connect with His objectives – His intentions. Just think about it: the authorization of Jesus has already united us with Him. We must carry on His mission, in His approach, with His energy and requirement. Beloved, we must be dedicated to the Lord’s objective – intent. The enthusiasm to be on His team will only discover its way into your heart (mind and emotions) if you have His peace.

Beloved if it’s not present, THE TIME IS NOW to ask Him for it!!!
    ✝️❤️✝️❤️

To God Be The Glory. Have a Blessed Sunday Everyone.

  • “Impeccable Tranquility”

    1 13 2020 Isaiah 26 3
You know Beloved, we reside in a world overflowing with apprehensions, worries, and contradictions. We can feel it on our jobs, when we drive, in civic philosophies and company politics, as we think about our financial position, and even in our churches and ministries.

This all falls under the heading called “STRESS!!!”

Last year First Lady Donece and I went through a situation that came out of nowhere that was meant to devastate (destroy) us but our faith in God saw us “through it without missing a beat (a smooth transition). ✝️😊

Beloved, stress “worrying” can devastate us in every area of our lives with its overpowering elements. Each day we all are prospects that face many opportunities to capitulate to these forces. We might feel tension to produce results or measure up to the successes of others. We might be apprehensive about family members, our jobs, or our finances. We may feel ambiguous about the decisions we need to establish, or requirements placed on us. We may be worried about what others think about us or just concerned about the future.

In all these situations, God promises an oasis, a place of “impeccable tranquility.” This is a place where anxiety, tension, fear, and worry are expelled, where there’s only room for tranquility (peace) because here God rules supreme.

The Bible says that we can experience this tranquility if our minds are “stayed on” God. This means that we completely rest in Him, totally lean upon Him. We don’t permit worry to build up but persistently exercise our mental focus on trusting in Him.

Beloved, no doubt we’ll still go through challenging situations. We’ll still have to go to work, drive our cars, and face uncertainties. But if we trust in God, we can depend on His everlasting strength and have His wisdom. And our lives can be filled with His impeccable Tranquility!!! Amen? Aaamen. ✝️❤️😊

    Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, each day I pause to focus on You. I give every tense, situation to You. I thank You for allowing me to lean on You. Thank You for Your tranquility. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen and Amen. ✝️❤️😊

Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will enter our earthly room and blow out our candle. So, reach out and touch the ones that need your agape, dissolve the divisions among you, continue to encourage one another, be united in the same mind, the same reasoning and continue to build one another up.

I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have a marvelous Monday and a fantastic week. ✝️❤️😊
  • “Connecting with Peace Be Unto You”

    12 15 2019 week 1 Bishop Houston's Sunday Morning ChurchJohn 20 21
Peace to all of you who are in Christ.

Arriving behind sealed doors, Jesus shows the disciples His wounds. But before He does, He speaks to them to calm down their anxieties, and give them a holy directive. Jesus says “Peace be unto” you twice in John 20. Just think about that for a moment. It’s not until we’re calm down and at peace, we’re able to parallel ourselves with His purpose. When there’s anxiety and worry, we’re self-consumed and incapable of movement.

Beloved, where are you today? Are you behind any self-sealed doors?

We stay behind our sealed doors when we’re transfixed by trepidation, regardless of where that anxiety is entrenched. The comforting words of Christ are never more needed than now for us!!! Listen To His word for you today, “Peace be unto you!!!” Similar to the disciples, it may take hearing that more than once for it to sink in. So, listen to it again, “Peace be unto you!!!” Inhale it. Meditate on it right now. Stay here until you sense His peace surrounding your heart and calming your spirit. Because if moving forward without it will only create impatient activity and desperate confusion. When we’re experiencing the peace of Christ in our lives, we’re ready to associate ourselves with His purpose. Just think about this: the directive of Jesus for us is already affiliated with His. He’s given us permission to carry on His aim, according to His stipulations. The enthusiasm to be on His team will only find its way into your heart if you have His peace. Beloved, if it’s not with you, there’s no better time than now to ask Him for it!!!

    Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your peaceful words and directions. Today I have a purpose and it’s a joy to be connected and aligned with You. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen and Aaamen.

  • “Our God Is Unbiased”

    7 31 2019 Our God is Unbiased
Praise the Lord Believers in the Christian faith.

You know Beloved, people are predisposed to treat others in a different way created by external criteria such as looks, assets, or social status, but God is utterly unbiased. He never shows nepotism and always judges righteously.

Nepotism can be defined as a favored or privileged attitude and treatment of a person or group over another having equal claims and rights. It’s plain and simple, unpardonable discrimination – prejudice. In James Chapter 2, James confronts it as sin and admonishes us to avoid it at all costs (*1).

God’s detachment from nepotism is seen throughout Scripture. Let me give you a few examples: Moses said to the people of Israel, “The Lord your God is the God of gods and the Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God who does not show partiality, nor take a bribe. He executes justice for the orphan and the widow and shows His love for the alien by giving him food and clothing. So, show your love for the alien, for you were aliens in the land of Egypt” (*2). Jehoshaphat, king of Judah, warned his judges to rule with an unbiased attitude because God Himself has “no part in unrighteousness, or partiality” (*3).

Beloved, God’s unbiased characteristic is also seen in His generous unconditional offer of salvation to people of “every” race. In Acts chapter 10 Peter says, “I most certainly understand now that God is not one to show partiality, but in every nation the man who fears Him and does what is right, is welcome to Him” (*4).

God is also impartial in judgment. In Romans 2 it says that God will bring “tribulation and distress for every soul of man who does evil – but glory and honor and peace to every man who does good. For there is no partiality with God” (*5).

Beloved, our text this morning is a judicious admonition because prejudice, discrimination, and bigotry are pervasive evils in our society – both inside and outside the church. I pray that God will use what I’ve spoken to you to help you, protect you, and bring light to nepotism and understand influences and strengthen your commitment to godly living. May God Add Blessings to the readers and doers of His Holy Word.

Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE TOO LATE.
I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have a Wonderful Wednesday.

  • “God’s Prearranged Blessing”

Bishop Houston's Full Purple Shirt God’s Prearranged Blessing.png
Shalom Aleichem – Happy Sunday!!! 😀

This morning’s Bible verses greets us with a tremendous blessing prearranged by God. This is His desire for His people. Beloved, He wants to bless us!!! To the Hebrew, this blessing meant having every virtuous thing in every way both corporal and divine. It meant one would be happy knowing he had all he needed. (*1)

Beloved, I want you to get a very clear vision of this beautiful spiritual gift God has agreed to give us.
“KEEP YOU” means to shield or defend us physically and spiritually. Think about it – what good is being blessed if you don’t have security in place?

“MAKE HIS FACE SHINE UPON YOU” means to be happy with you, to show you compassion – unconditional love. He’s watching the conditions you’re in – your environment, and He’s listening and waiting very attentively to your prayer. He wants to engage Himself to your state of affairs. “BE GRACIOUS TO YOU” means since attaining knowledge by Christ’ erudition, we understand it’s extremely crucial and essential the we get the grace of God. Beloved, God’s prepared to show us that grace!!! It’s grace that brands the rest of the blessing that makes everything possible.

“TURN HIS FACE TOWARD YOU” means He perceives your need, receives your prayer – He’s very attentive to everything you do. Beloved, are you facing God?

“AND GIVE YOU PEACE”, (shalom) 😀 means to agree with the will of God. It’s to be in synchronization with your created resolution, to have peace with God through the blood of Jesus. The reverse acts of peace are to be in disorder – confusion and conflict within and without. God’s desire for us is peace, and so He sent us the Prince of Peace.

This is the blessing the priests were to speak over the people of God. It’s as good for us today as it was for them 3500 years ago. Man has unquestionably changed this world, but the hearts of men and women have the same need – GOD.

Beloved, let the LORD, Himself, speak this blessing upon you and your family.
    Aleichem Shalom. 😀

    Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your wonderful unconditional love, and sticking by your prearranged agreement. I have learned my life through Christ. Thank You for Your Son. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen and Aaamen.

Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them,
BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE – TOO LATE.

I LOVE YOU ALL!!! – Have an tremendous Sunday Everyone.

  • “Joy Is Always In Attendance”

New Monday Morning Blog Psalm 16 11
Praise the Lord Beloved. Happy Monday to you all. I hope all is well and I hope your holiday shopping has been a joy.

You know Beloved, God promises that joy is found in His presence, and if you’ve acknowledged Jesus as your Lord and Savior, then His presence lives inside of you. That means you’re full of joy!!! Joy displays when you’re focused on the Father and begin to admire and pay tribute to Him for what He’s done in your life. It doesn’t matter where you are or what’s going on around you, you can access the joy that’s inside of you at “ANY TIME”, day or night.

Beloved, right now wouldn’t be a bad time to set your mind on Jesus. God always wants you to experience His supernatural joy and peace. That’s why He chose to live inside of you and give you an endless supply of “Whatever”. Don’t waste another minute feeling overburdened, abused, misused, and refused. Let the joy of the Lord be your strength, and you’ll move forward in victory on the path of life He’s prepared just for you!!!
Have a blessed Monday and an awesome week Everyone. 😀

  • “A Confident Message”

    Border Preaching and teaching
Praise the Lord Beloved!!! Welcome to Wednesday’s CHOF Bible Fellowship Bible Study.
Our focal CHOF Bible Fellowship verse this morning comes from 1 Kings 17:1 (NLT)

Our focal verse reads this way:
    (17) Now Elijah, who was from Tishbe in Gilead, told King Ahab, “As surely as the Lord, the God of Israel, lives—the God I serve—there will be no dew or rain during the next few years until I give the word!”

Beloved, we find King Ahab’s first thought after encountering the prophet Elijah may well have been: “WHAT!!! This dude got some kind of nerve!!! Just who does this dude think he is? Blasting onto the scene out of nowhere, Elijah challenged Israel’s evil king with a message that would soon disturb life throughout the whole region.

  • “God Changes Conditions

Bishop Houston's Monday Morning Blog New Poster
Praise the Lord Beloved!!! Happy Monday to you all. I hope you had a marvelous Sunday.

You know Beloved, God takes His time developing us. You see, a small or slow beginning is just the introduction to a marvelous climax at the end!!! You’ll find that many of God’s work of genius were developed in small, slow incomprehensible conditions.Take for instance Moses. Moses was sent to the lost sheep of Israel. He was trained in leadership while shoveling sheep manure on the backside of the desert. Now granted his discipline was developed in the royal courts of Pharaoh’s house, but his disposition was shaped through failure and a desert kingdom with no one to lead but flies, gnats and sheep.

Beloved, who would have thought, looking at Moses’ church of goat deacons and gnats for choir members, that later he would lead the greatest movement in the history of the Old Testament theology?

So, Beloved, you or anyone else can’t tell what’s in you by looking at you. God is in the love, blessings and salvation business!!! God is establishing patience, character, and concentration in the school of “nothing seems to be happening.” Just because God promises to move in your life and anoints you to do a particular function doesn’t mean that your foundation will be immediately built, nor does it mean because you may have turned down ministry or slow to develop correct morals doesn’t mean God won’t create and develop a spiritual foundation that’s fit just for you. 😀

Have a blessed Monday and an awesome rest of your week.
