  • “Don’t Agree With the Unforeseen”

    Proverbs 6 2
    Praise the Lord!!! 😀

     
    If you’re a Houston Astros fan, you’ll remember Jose Lima “Lima Time”. 😀 He was a very free-spirited pitcher with a fun and loving personality on and off the field. He loved to sing and dance.
     
    1999 was His best season as a Professional Major League pitcher. He posted a 21-10 win-loss record. He was selected to the All-Star game, and the Astros won the NL Central Championship the same year. When the Astros moved from the Astrodome to their downtown Ballpark, Jose went to the new ballpark walked out to the mound looked at the left-field fence and noticed that it was much closer than the left-field fence in the Astrodome. He said, “the fence is too close. I’ll never be able to pitch in this ballpark. Jose Lima went from being a 21-game winner to a 16-game loser. His career spiraled downhill.
     
    What do we see here? We see spoken defeat!!! Beloved, Jose projected his future. In his mind, he rationalized that a closer fence made it much easier for right hand pulls hitters and left-hand hitters to hit home runs. He trapped himself by agreeing with an unforeseen negative.
     
    Beloved, don’t get yourself entrapped by the words that come out of your mouth. When undesirable thoughts come, don’t express them out of your mouth. Use a positive alternative. Speak life into that unseen and unwelcomed situation. Speak with expected confidence and optimism. Speak with a high level of dedicated belief. Speak what you’re looking for!!! Speak the Word of God over your situation so you can advance and receive what the Lord has prearranged for you!!! Amen? Aaamen.

    Dear Heavenly Father, today I submit my opinions, my words, and every area of my life to You. Help me, by Your Spirit, to speak life according to Your Word. Help me stay united with You on the path of positive joy, happiness, and tranquility. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen and Aaamen.
     
    Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE TOO LATE. – I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have a “Wonderful” Wednesday. 😀

  • “IS YOUR MOUTH OPENED?”

    Focal Scripture (Psalm 81:10, NLT)
    “Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it”

    Beloved, how open is your mouth right now? In other words, are you expecting God to fill you and increase you beyond your boundaries? Are you ready for Him to satisfy your needs and wishes with good things?

    Allow me to give you an example. Think about a baby bird. When they are ready to eat, they open their mouths wide. They trust that they will be fed. They expect it. They look for it. They’re ready for it. Well this should be the same way with us.

    Beloved, we need to keep our spiritual mouths open by expecting the goodness of God to bring us gratification.

    You must always stay positive, because negative thinking is like closing your mouth. And you know what they say about a closed mouth – “a closed mouth won’t get fed”.

    Beloved, Jesus is saying today, “Why don’t you take down the boundaries?” Why don’t you trust and believe for supernatural opportunities? That little bird waiting for food isn’t concerned about where the mother is going to get it from. It isn’t concerned about how she’s going to dig it up. No!!! that bird just opens its mouth, trusting and waiting. Beloved, why don’t you do the same today? Trust, believe and have all confidence that God is working behind the scenes. All you have to do is open your mouth wide today. Believe me, you won’t be disappointed. God is faithful to His Word, and He will fill you and satisfy you when you put your trust in Him!!!
    Amen? AaaaMen!!! 😀
