  • “Expand Your Horizon”

    10 9 2019 Expand Your Horizon
Praise the Lord Believers in the Christian faith.

Beloved, God has many great things in store for you!!! He has so much favor that’s impending in your future like you’ve never thought could happen. He wants to do things for you that you’ve never even imagined. But for us to participate or receive any of these blessings, we have to expand the horizon of our mental receptors. Now give this a thought: if you have a piggy bank that only holds twenty-five dollars, and someone has 100 dollars to give, the problem isn’t with the supply or supplier. The problem is that you don’t have the capacity to receive 100 dollars. But if you get rid of that small piggy bank and get something bigger, then you’ll be able to accept more. It’s the same way with God. If we think we’ve reached our capacity, the problem isn’t that God doesn’t have the resources or the ability — the problem is that our container is too small. We have to expand our vision and make room for the new things God has for us. Our mentality should be, “Yes, my finances are down, and my bills are still coming in, but I know God is still on the throne. I know anywhere I go; His blessings and mercy follow me.”

Beloved, when you have that kind of mentality, you’re expanding the horizon of our mental receptors to receive so that you can live the copious life He has in store for you. Amen? Aaamen. 😀

    CHOF Ministry’s Mid-Week Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, today I choose to believe and expand my receptors to receive from You. I release “all” the limited thinking and old mindsets and choose to meditate on Your word. I open myself to everything You have in store for me. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen and Aaamen.

Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE TOO LATE. – I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have a “Happy” Wednesday. 😀

  • “Relinquish the Alpha Dog Mentality”

    Thursday 5 9 2019 Let Us Pray Alpha Dog Psalm 118 5
    Happy Thursday Everyone. 😀

Several years ago I wrote about a person who had threatened to make my life unhappy – miserable. I prayed to the Lord for help and I felt Him answer that He would fight for me. I believed that He would, but as time passed, I became anxious and started to have reservations. True faith includes belief, trust and having all confidence in God’s ability to provide. But, at one point in my life it was particularly hard for me because I considered myself an Alpha Dog (wanted to regulate things my way). Sure I believed that the Lord was in control, but I struggled because I felt better when things depended on me. But when it came down to waiting on the Lord after I prayed, trusting that He would do it all in His perfect timing, it was hard for me to not panic a little bit.

Beloved, little did I realize I was growing in my faith. When we grow in our faith it’s painful – especially when we’re impatient, or want things done our way or on our time table. 😀 That’s because waiting and trusting teaches us to rely more on the Lord and less on ourselves. The Lord answered my prayers and delivered me from that horrible situation. That’s because I relinquished my Alpha Dog mentality and started trusting God to be the leader. Looking back, I can see that I wasn’t in control of anything in my life. The Lord has been fighting for me, and it’s the Lord who has delivered me, and it’s been the Lord in control the whole time. Amen? 😀 AAAmen. 😀

Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE – TOO LATE.

    I LOVE YOU ALL!!!
Have a blessed Thursday Everyone. 😀
