“Look But Don’t Lust”

Praise the Lord Beloved. Happy Tuesday. 😀

Beloved, let’s face it, with the presence of the internet and the expansion of social media we can now see people everywhere – all over the world.

It doesn’t make a difference if we’re married or not, there are certain people that come into our life that we can become attracted to. A woman can see a tall or short muscular man with a six-pack and be attracted, and a man can see a beautiful voluptuous 36 24 36 or full-figured woman and be attracted. God created us that way. The key is to briefly admire “to appreciate” their appearance without entering the atmosphere of lusting. I want you to know that it’s okay to be attracted to a person just as long as we’re not lusting after them. We can see the person, admire their appearance and “MOVE ON.” The problem occurs when we 1. Start to invest our inner focus and 2. When we begin staring at them. Those two-element starts our immoral (sinful) actions. They open the doors and allow perverted thoughts to dwell in our minds and thinking about them later.

If we find ourselves lusting, we must seek the Holy Spirit to give us a plan to remove lust from within us. He may give us a confession or expose us during tempting moments. He’ll give us the strength we need to go in another direction or offer a distraction.

Beloved, let’s keep the signs of unrestricted lust planted in our minds so that our focus can be on God and our current or future spouse. Amen? Aaamen.

Let Us Pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, help us to continue to abolish lust. We know it is a worldly characteristic and it’s immoral. Thank You for providing the Holy Spirit who will help us when we are tempted to remove the unrestricted sign of lust from our mind. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen and Aaamen.

Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE TOO LATE. – I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have a blessed October and a pleasant Tuesday Everyone.

“If It Wasn’t for Noah”

Beloved, one of the dirtiest, most detrimental lies that the devil ever told you was when he said, “You aren’t important.” Beloved, don’t you ever believe that!!! You’re important!!! Every born-again member who believes in Jesus Christ has a part to play in God’s plan. God has something for you to do that no one else can do just like you can. If you don’t take your place and do your part, things won’t be quite right. Now, I can just hear you thinking, “Bishop Houston, I’m just one person. What could I conceivably do that could be so noteworthy? “WELL I’M GLAD YOU ASKED? 😀

You’ll see the answer to that question in Genesis 6. There you’ll see that the people on the earth had gotten so evil and corrupt that God had regretted that He’d made them. He was ready to wipe the whole population out, “But He Didn’t”!!! Why? Because of one man: Noah!!! 😀 One obedient man saved the human race. Think about that. What if Noah had said, “Well, this is just too much pressure for me. I can’t live upright before God in the middle of this unreasonable generation. I mean, everyone around me is living the other way. Every man around me imagines only evil in his/her mind and emotions. I can’t make any difference in this dark world anyway. I’m just one man.”

Praise the Lord Noah didn’t say that!!! He didn’t picture himself as an unimportant man whose life didn’t matter. According to Hebrews, he saw himself as a man to whom God had spoken and by faith, he obeyed God. And because of that he ended up being the only thing that stood between mankind and total destruction.

Beloved, the next time you’re tempted to ignore the instructions of God and be disobedient, the next time you catch yourself thinking, it doesn’t matter what I do — just remember Noah. 😀 Consider the fact that, whether you understand it or not, God’s counting on you to carry out your part of His plan. Live like you’re someone important in the kingdom of God. And sooner or later you’ll realize, you are.
Amen? – AAAmen… 😀

Let Us Pray: Dear Heavenly Father thank You for believing, trusting and having confidence in me when so many don’t or have doubts about who I am today. Thank You for trusting me with Your spiritual commands and blessing me with the required gifts to achieve my spiritual duty. I’ll continue to stay focus on You and be obedient to Your directives regardless if I understand them or not.
In Jesus’ Name I pray Amen and Amen.

“Rebirth – Spiritual Rejuvenation!!!”

Praise the Lord Beloved!!! 😀 Happy Monday to you all. I hope everyone had an awesome weekend.
As we all know we’re in a special time of year. According to history, a special child would be born, I’m speaking of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. So, I want to speak to you briefly about rebirth.

Beloved, do you know what Jesus had in mind when He said “Born Again” to Nicodemus? He was talking covenant talk. He was telling Nicodemus what it meant to have an agreement with God.

Allow me to paint you a virtual mental picture I believe that was in Jesus’ mind. Imagine a baby, a little baby born of an unwed mother. No one knows who its daddy is, and no one wants to know. He’s a child no one wants. He doesn’t belong to anyone.

Now, I want you to picture the best kind of family you can think of. I’m speaking of a family that loves God. The man has a good career. They’re blessed monetarily. They’re contributors, supporters and lovers of people, and they fall in love with this baby. Before long, they adopt it.

Now look at what just happened!!! 😀 That baby was just rebirth. Life for the baby is now “Rejuvenated!!!” 😀 He got a new set of parents. Through adoption, he has now become an heir. Why? Not because of anything the baby has done. Those parents didn’t say, “I want you to look at that baby. I’m so overwhelmed with all that that child has done for us. He has certainly earned our love and admiration.”

NO, it’s a baby. It couldn’t have done anything to earn its new life. This man and this woman agreed together out of the love in their hearts (mind and emotion) to give grace (unmerited favor) to the child. Now he has access to everything they have. When they offer him a bottle, he doesn’t knock the bottle away and say, “I’m so humble and undeserving. Just give me water.” Of course not. That baby acts like part of the family, and not just part of the family but the best part of the family. Because in Jesus’ day a covenant or adopted child had the same birthright as the firstborn son. That’s what Jesus was talking about when He said, “You must be born again (rebirth).” He was talking about grace. He was talking about a new relationship of favor. He was talking about a spiritual rejuvenation. A new family. A new authority. A new power.

Beloved, if you feel undeserving to receive the rich blessings God has for you today, think about that. Meditate on it, so instead of worrying about and struggling with the needs in your life, you can just walk confidently into the throne room of your Father and receive help to get those needs met.

Learn what it really means to be a blood-bought child of Almighty God with a big brother like Jesus. Learn what it means to be, Rebirth and become Spiritually Rejuvenated!!!
