  • “Stay Humble – God Will Expose”

    9 13 2019 Bishop Houston's Weekend Words God Will Expose Luke 18 14
Praise the Lord Beloved!!! 😀 The soul of Friday is here. Let us all be attentive to our persona according to God’s purpose.

Beloved, God’s focus is in the heart of man and not on their external or superficial appearance and accomplishments in life. You’ll find in this morning’s parable; Jesus Christ equated the tax collector and the Pharisee. The tax collectors are publicly known as sinners for their dishonesty when they’re collecting taxes. They’re called thieves because they steal money from people. The Pharisees on the other hand, are publicly known as holy, righteous and law-abiding people. They openly display their religious acts such as prayer, fasting, and almsgiving. People looked up to them and were impressed by their deeds, but God wasn’t. When Christ came, He began to expose their private sins, their pride, and self-righteousness.

In this morning’s parable, we find the Pharisee began to brag about his righteous acts while the tax collector humbly admitted his wrongdoing and ask for God’s mercy. So we see, God, honored the prayer of the tax collector, but He hated the self-aggrandizements of the Pharisee. Beloved, God will eventually expose anyone that postures themselves arrogantly, snobbishly, self-righteously, and barbarous.

This weekend Beloved, let us all keep in mind that no matter who we are or what we do, God is willing to accept us if we humble ourselves and submit to His mercy.

    Weekend Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for repeating to me about being proud and why it doesn’t give You pleasure or glory. Help us to stop looking at our divine accomplishments and start focusing on Your boundless love, mercy, and grace.
In Jesus’ Mighty name I pray, Amen and Aaamen.:-D

Have a wonderful Friday and a blessed weekend everyone.
  • “PYMWTWOG”

    9 6 2019 Bishop Houston's Weekend Words PYMWTWOG 2 Corinthians 10 4 5
Praise the Lord Beloved Happy Friday!!!:-D

If you think just like the world thinks, eventually you’ll perform just like the world performs. You see, uncontrolled views, opinions, and feelings manufacture uncontrolled views, opinions, and feelings.

So, supervise your views, opinions, and feelings. You need to transition them into obedience to the Scriptures. In different words,
“PYMWTWOG” – Program Your Mind with the Word of God. The Word is spirit and its life. Once your mind is saturated with the Word of God, you’ll become robust once the time comes for you to exercise authority to beat each ungodly, unsocial, unreasonable thought and evil habit.

Beloved, this weekend, don’t let secularism deceive you into surrendering the glory of God in your life for many moments of pleasure-seeking and sin. Imprison your worldly views, opinions, and feelings concerning life. Meditate on the Word rather than egocentric, carnal thoughts. Keep your eyes on Jesus Christ, WHO Is the author and finisher of your spiritual belief. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen and Aaamen. 😀

    Weekend Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for reintroducing Your Word to my mind and emotions.  Your Words have blessed me with a brand-new vision. Your Words have restructured the way I process life. My new insight has internally delivered spiritual views, opinions, and feelings that assist me as I pass through the carnal world. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen and Aaamen. 😀

    Have a blessed Weekend Everyone.

  • “The Lord’s My Intestinal Fortitude”

Bishop Houston's Full Purple Shirt The Lord Is My Intestinal Fortitude

You know at times, there are thing that pop up in my life that make life seem very tough to walk in and when those days occur it’s very easy to start thinking that I have no more strength left in me to fight. I feel defenseless and abandoned, exposed to my enemies and dominated by my uncertainties. I feel that my weaknesses have conquered me, my courage has taken dramatic hit, the feeling of defeat is near, and I just want to say, “I’m tired – I’m throwing in the towel”.

But then I remember that no matter what life’s situations are, I have God on my side!!!

The Bible says we’re truly protected by God. If He’s with us, who can be against us? Who can defeat us? That’s the belief that fills me with strength and courage that helps me to move forward. No matter how weak I may become, He’s my intestinal fortitude and He lifts my head up. He’s the reason why we should all walk courageously through life with our head held high and with a smile on our face. 😀

    Sunday’s Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, please help us to have faith in You and Your divine fortification. Be our armor. Help us lift up our heads high in spite of all our weaknesses and situations we face. You’re our strength and our life. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray Amen and Aaamen.

Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE – TOO LATE.

I LOVE YOU ALL!!! – Have an Amazing Sunday Everyone.

  • “There’s a Reason for Seasons”

    Monday 8 12 29 2019 There are seasons
Praise the Lord Believers in the Christian faith.

    Happy Monday. 😀

You know this morning’s scripture is generally credited to King Solomon, who was famous for his wisdom. King Solomon had everything his heart desired including an empire, knowledge, resources and physical assets. This scripture and an earlier passage of scripture (*1) define for us life on this earth. There are seasons in all our lives, times of joy and mourning, times to reminisce and move on, times to be desired and desire others.

Beloved, the purpose for God giving us seasons is so that in the good times we can praise Him and give thanks for the things He has given us, in the good times and in the bad times, we can turn to God in faith and realize that living in this world is very brief. There’ll be times when we’ll seem to have it all together. We’ll also have times when things won’t seem to go right. So, in this life, receive the seasons as they come. Never give in to desolation, and remember this life is but a moment compared to eternity. One day, the things of this world will pass away, and we’ll live in a splendid perpetuity with the Lord who made us and loves us so very much. Amen? 😀 Aaamen. 😀

Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE TOO LATE.

I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have a Brilliant Monday.

  • “DON’T HOLD BACK”

Bishop Houston's Full Purple Shirt “DON’T HOLD BACK”
    |Beloved, you must be mindful how you speak to one another. The words that come out of your mouth are vital. They’re an invisible vapor that crosses a sound wave that produces life or death and as believers in the faith our words are more visible and scrutinized. When your words become God’s Words, that’s when you’ll see the explosion of His sensational triumph, kindness and profusion in your everyday life!!! Not only that, there’re people God has placed in your life who are waiting for you to speak God’s Word over them. It doesn’t help them if you just feel for them or think about them.

Beloved, God has called us to speak His Word!!! Your spouse your boyfriend/girlfriend needs to hear you say that God’s hand is on them, His resolutions are awesome, and His unconditional loving kindness is opening new doors and opportunities. Your children need to hear the promises of God from your mouth. Your friend, your co-worker, your next-door neighbor, your family, your church/ministry family need to hear that God has magnificent things in store for them. Amen? Aaamen. 😀
When I lived in the Craigwood edition in Austin, Texas a very wise older man (Mr. Eason) use to tell me, “Son your deep insight, consciousness and your mouth is your miracles.” Well, you might have a deeper understanding about someone’s issues, you might be more conscience about a choice some may be prepared to make, you might be the one who speaks life into someone’s deteriorating condition(s)!!! They may need to have your words of confidence deposited in them in order to take that next step toward success.
So Beloved, don’t hold back!!! Keep creating dialogue, keep encouraging, keep praying because what you say could make the difference in someone’s life!!! Make your words line up with His Word and see His blessing over every area of your life!!!
    Sunday’s Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, today I renounce my views, opinions and words to You. Show me, by Your Spirit, what to say over my life and over my friends and family. Thank You for using me. In Jesus’ name – Amen. 😀
Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them,
BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE – TOO LATE.
I LOVE YOU ALL!!! – Have a Sensational Sunday Everyone.
  • “Circumventing Spiritual Misconception”

    Wednesday 7 3 19 2019 Let Us Pray James 1 22

In Matthew 7 verses 21-23 you’ll find it chronicles the sad results of spiritual misconception. Jesus says: “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven; but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’”

Beloved, Jesus made a strong pulsating dissimilarity between those who just claim to be Christians and those who actually are. The difference is, true believers do the will of the Father. In the words of James, they’re doers of the Word, not just hearers who deceive themselves. “Hearers” in James 1:22 translates a Greek word that speaks of auditing a class. Auditing students go to class and listen to the instructor but don’t do any work. So, they don’t receive credit for the course. The phrase “delude themselves” speaks of being persecuted by one’s own defective reasoning. People who listen to God’s Word but never obey it are spiritual auditors who delude themselves by thinking that hearing the Word is all God requires of them. Unfortunately, many churches and ministries are full of these people. They attend services and hear the sermons, but their lives never seem to change. They’re content to hear the Word but they never apply it. Like those whom Jesus condemned in Matthew 7, they’ve chosen “religious” activities over true faith in Christ.

You’re in a sad situation to think you’re saved, only to hear. Matthew 7:23 (AMP) says: And then I will declare to them publicly, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me [you are banished from My presence], you who act wickedly [disregarding My commands].

Beloved, that will never happen if you’re a doer of the Word.
    Amen? – Aaamen. 😀

Beloved, once again, I thank God for you. You all are truly my inspiration. 😀

I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have an “Awesome” Wednesday.
  • “Living or Dead – No One’s Exempt”

Bishop Houston's Full Purple Shirt Living or Dead - No One’s Exempt
Praise the Lord Beloved. What a beautiful Sunday. I thank God for allowing us another opportunity to collectively serve Him. 😀

This Morning’s Focal Bible Scripture is Romans 14:7-12.

You’ll find in the New Testament the word Lord is the most recurrently used designation for Jesus Christ. Although we seldom use this term in our daily lives, we’re all quite accustomed with another word: “boss or supervisor”. That is basically what Lord means—one possessing authority, power, and control. The Word of God describes Jesus as the head of the church, the ruler over all creation, and the Lord of lords and King of kings. *(1)

The territory of Christ’s authority covers everything that happens in heaven and on the earth. NO ONE—not even those who reject the reality that He exist can be free of His rule. NO ONE is outside His range of authority. Although Satan tries to give us a run for our money by making every effort to convince us that liberty is found in doing what we want, but true freedom is attained and developed only through submission to Christ’s loving lordship.

Beloved, even death’s proclamation won’t exempt anyone from the authority of God’s Son. He’s Lord of both the living and the dead. Everyone must decide to either yield or rebel against Him, but the only opportunity they have to make this choice is while they’re still living. After death, they’ll accept Christ’s lordship through accountability to Him.

Beloved, if we haven’t conformed to Jesus in life, we’ll be forced to kneel in the judgment.
    Amen? – Aaamen. 😀

– Have a very blessed Sunday Everyone. 😀

  • “Pure/Sure Love”

Tuesday 6 11 2019 Let Us Pray John 3 16Praise the Lord Beloved. Forgive me for the late post.Stayed up and watched the Raptors vs. Warriors basketball game last night. I hope your day has started off awesome. 😀

You know a couple of my desires in life was to find a mate and a networking family that loved me just as much as I loved them, and to have a pure/sure “Unadulterated Unquestionable” love, one without hidden agendas and/or worldly material characteristics. I thank God for my beautiful spirited wife (Donece – “Niecy”) and those of you who have solidified your unconditional interactions with me and CHOF Ministry.

Beloved, to know that you’re loved affects much in your heart and your mind which affects your emotions. A huge factor that impacts the attitude of the child is the feeling that their parents love them. The love of God is unlimited, and it exceeds all our immoralities. His love is higher than anything in this world, and that kind of love is freely given to us. That’s why God can save us from all our sins. 😀 His love is greater than all our sins.

Therefore, we who have experienced this kind of love should reproduce it towards those around us. We can share God’s great love with others in many ways. But first, we have to realize and recognize that God loves us so, so, so much. At times we don’t realize that’s why many people are still in an unhappy place or situation, disheartened and disconnected, hostile and unreceptive, and in pain – hurt. But when we come to understand that God loves all of us so, so, so much, it’ll bring us pure/sure joy and hope, and it’ll change our attitude towards many things in life. Amen? – Aaamen.

Beloved, I thank you for being such an inspiration to us. 😀
I LOVE YOU ALL and have a blessed Tuesday Everyone.

  • “We Find Strength in God”

Weekend Words We Find Strength in God

    HAPPY FRIDAY EVERYONE!!!

Beloved, allow me to ask you a few quick questions this morning:
*Are there periods in your life when you feel weak?
*Do you ever desire to find an innovative power in the middle of a very important issue you’re dealing with? Well, you’re not alone because we all do. It’s a fact of life and there isn’t much we can do about it OR is there?

Well, actually there is something we can do about it. We can take it to God. The scripture teaches us time and time again that we find strength in God. It teaches us that while we may feel weak, our strength is found in His magnificent power. We also find strength in others that God places in our life. Let me tell you, we can prepare ourselves as much as we want, but the fact is we can’t survive this world on our own. There are those that will stand and walk through struggles alongside us, if we be truthful to them and let them.

Beloved, as we go into this weekend remember, you inherit strength from God, but as Col. 1:11-12 says, you also inherit strength through “the saints in the light.”

Have a blessed Friday and A “WONDERFUL” weekend!!

  • “Serving God Correctly”

    Tuesday 4 30 2019 Let Us Pray Bible VerseJoshua 24 14
Praise the Lord and Happy Tuesday to Everyone. 😀

You know, after Joshua assembled the leaders of every tribe and family of Israel, he spoke to them about what God wanted to tell them. It was an outline of what God had done for them, from the time He chose Abraham, up to the time they reached the Promised Land. It was God who directed everything, brought them out from Egypt, liberated them from their enemies and brought them to the land God promised them. God exhibited His character and His power all through the years. So, Joshua told them to respect and worship the Lord and serve Him loyally, and sincerely.

Beloved, our best response to God’s greatness and goodness, at the same time, is to respect, worship, serve Him loyally, and sincerely. Just because God is God is the best reason to serve God. We must look to God always and not to other people. We should serve Him not because of the cliques, or the blessings we can get but because of who He is, what He’s done and what He’ll do. Amen? 😀 – AAAmen. 😀
