  • “How Serious Do You Want It?”

    5 15 2020 Bishop Houston's Weekend Words Mark 10 52
A visually impaired beggar by the named of Bartimaeus heard a lot of disorder from the vast crowd that was following Jesus, and he began shouting, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” The people around him told him to shut up, but the more they reprimanded him and told him to shut up, he yelled more loudly.

Suddenly, Jesus stopped, commanded him to be called, and rehabilitated him.

Beloved, how seriously do you want God’s visions in your spirit and the possibilities He’s spoken to you? Do you seriously want it enough to tolerate the people who’re trying to talk you out of it? Do you seriously want it enough to ignore some insults? Do you seriously want it enough to do the right things when immoral things are happening? Do you seriously want it enough to continue pursuing it when all the conditions say it’s not going to happen? but the more they reprimanded him and told him to shut up, he yelled more loudly.

Beloved as we end another week and head into the weekend, I encourage you to stand your ground – be relentless regardless of how terrible it looks. ✝️❤️

    Let Us Pray
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the thoughts and visions You put in my spirit and for the possibilities, you’ve spoken. If I must believe my entire life for their fulfillment, I’m going to keep believing. I’m not going to concede for less than. I’m going to keep chasing what You put in my spirit.
In Jesus’ Name, I pray Amen and Aaamen. ✝️❤️

Have an Awesome Friday and a Social Distancing Weekend Everyone. ✝️❤️😊
  • “Previously Arranged”

    5 7 2020 Bishop Houston's Weekend Words Luke 22 12
In Luke, chapter 22, we find Jesus telling Peter and John to go into Jerusalem and make provisions for what’s now known as the Last Supper. He gave them a list of things that needed to be precisely done: the correct person to meet, the proper time, the suitable house. Everything on the list connected accurately. They didn’t have to convince the owner of the house to help. That’s because he was anticipating them. The room was “previously arranged.”

Beloved, when God created the blueprint for your life, He also time-stamped it. He set up “EVERYTHING” you need to accomplish the objective in this life, I’m speaking of every excellent opportunity, every person, every resolution and explanation. Before you had that problem, you were feeling this will never change, but God has previously established the solution. Beloved, you don’t have to try to influence, make an impression on people, or try to persuade anyone to be nice to you. The passionate aspirations that God put in your mind may seem far out, but if you’ll remain faithful and keep paying tribute to God, you’re going to come into what God has already established for you.

As we finish another week and look forward to the weekend, keep in mind, God has previously stamped approved on your life’s blueprint; everything is arranged and time-stamped.
    ✝️❤️😊

    Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the excellent things You’ve previously arranged. Thank You for the support that comes with all the benefits, the sponsorship, the recoveries, and the great opportunities that You’ve already established to come across my path. I believe that You’re overseeing my steps and coordinating everything around me. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen, and Aaamen. ✝️❤️

Have a Great Friday and a Wonderful Mother’s Day Weekend Everyone. ✝️❤️😊
  • “Understanding and Welcoming God’s Contributions”

5 3 2020 week 1 2 CHOF BF Sunday Morning Word Matt 6 11You know, Beloved, God has provided us with everything good to enjoy. Things like the rain that helps make creative ideas develop, natural resources that contribute to supporting productivity, mammals, fowls, and plants, for food and clothing, and power for manufacturing and transportation and during this Coronavirus – COVID-19 pandemic, stimulus money to survive. Everything we have is from Him, and we should be appreciative of it all.

In Matt. 7:11, Jesus said, “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more shall your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!” James 1:17 says, “Every good thing bestowed, and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation, or shifting shadow.” In 1 Timothy 4:4-5, Paul added, “Everything created by God is good, and nothing is to be rejected if it is received with gratitude; for it is sanctified by means of the word of God and prayer.”

It’s sad, nonbelievers don’t believe in nor acknowledge God’s kindness, even though they profit from it every day. They attach His advantageous attention to coincidence or destiny and His generous obligations to the environment or deceptive gods. They don’t respect Him as God or give Him thanks (*1.)

Beloved every one of us, get blessings from God Daily. But if you look at our society today (and you don’t have to look far), it’s not difficult to see the repulsive rudeness of men and women who distributes immorally against their Provider!!! God supports and develops them, and they arrogantly stand-up against Him; He gives them food to eat, and they insult Him.

This is disgraceful!!! There are so many people that are ashamed to be associated with God, other Christians, or Christians that aren’t in a particular clique. But you know what’s even sadder God is only recognized and called a friend when there’s a need for money or desired relief. His Name is called without shame until their desire is provided for, then they go right back to betraying Him and harming and wounding those He dispatches. This is how unappreciative immoral people reimburse God. They not only ignore his generous blessings; they also misuse and mistreat them. Jeremiah 5:7 (AMP) says: “When I had fed them until they were full [and bound them to Me by a promise], They committed [spiritual] adultery, Assembling in troops at the houses of prostitutes (idols).” Beloved, it’s appalling to sin against a magnanimous God!!! It’s terrible to attack or walk away from the hands that alleviate us.

It’s heartbreaking to see so many that lack appreciation for God. But on the other hand, it’s inspiring to know that the limitless God loves and cares for us and distributes our every need.
    |
Beloved, don’t ever take His requirements for granted!!! Look to Him daily and obtain His contributions with an appreciative attitude. Amen? Aaamen.

    Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for the abundant blessings You’ve supplied in my life. Thank You for sending the right people into my life at the perfect time. Thank You for refocusing my spiritual eyes and ears. Today I can see, hear, and acknowledge the things that morally line up and release the ideas, issues, and objects that once controlled me. Lord, it feels AWESOME to be liberated and to have unlimited spiritual liberty to live. In Jesus’ Name, I Pray, Amen, and Aaamen.

  • CHOF Ministry’s “Probing For Spiritual Answers – “Pleading The Blood”

Probing For Spiritual Answers Plead The Blood
Q: Bishop Houston, can you tell me what pleading the blood means?

    Great question. ✝️❤️😊
    Answer:
Beloved, “Pleading the blood,” is legal terminology. It’s like an attorney arguing his case in court. He introduces witnesses and testimony along with detailed statistics and statements that will substantiate his claim in front of a judge. Look in your Bible at 1 Samuel 24:15 and Psalm 43:1 (The Old Law); they’re great examples of this terminology.
When the prosecutor says we’re guilty, our appeal before God, the Honest and Honorable Magistrate, is the blood of Jesus. It reworked everything. The blood of Jesus created a modern-day and clearer covenant between a holy God and us(*1). Beloved, the blood is our security. It confirms we’re not guilty but free from all punishment of sin. The blood authorizes us and supplies us with the ability to resist Satan and put him out of all the activities of our lives and our families’ lives.
It’s Jesus’ sacrifice at Calvary that the devil has no lawful right to intrude in our lives anymore. He says we’re guilty; we “plead the blood!!!” (*2). So, as you can see, we have all rights and requirements to walk in victory through the precious blood of the Lamb.
Beloved, you have the right “Every Day” to use that power. All you have to do is plead the blood of Jesus over what He’s done for you.
Don’t give the enemy even one small inch of space. Satan is a defeated opponent, and through the precious blood of Jesus, we’re victorious also!!! Amen? Aaamen. ✝️❤️😊

  • “Retaining Spiritual Understanding”

April 26 2020 week 3 and 4 CHOF Bible Fellowship 'sSunday Morning Church Matt 5 4
Praise The Lord Everybody!!! God has blessed us to see another Sunday with you.

Let us all remember to wash our hands and continue to stay in compliance with social distancing. ✝️❤️😊

Beloved, Satan aspires to minimize or make Christians feel less sensitive to the wickedness of sin. He wants you to stop grieving or being sad over sin and start rejoicing when encountering Immorality. Just because you deem yourself a Christian doesn’t remove you from Satan’s ambitions. Many Christians once believed they were excluded because of their faith in Christ. They became a victim to his power because they lost focus. And let me warn you-it usually doesn’t occur all at once. The method can be gradual and imperceivable— almost unnoticeable. But the results are very tragic.

First, you must always stay alert, looking for the possibilities of sin and on guard to defend yourself from negotiating. You have to be mindful of your sin. In Psalm 51:3, David said, “My sin is always before me.” In Isaiah 6:5, Isaiah cried out, “Woe is me! For I am ruined, Because I am a man of [ceremonially] unclean lips, And I live among a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts.” In Luke 5:8, Peter said to Jesus, “Go away from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord!” In I, Timothy 1:15, Paul called himself the chief of sinners as you can see, each man shared a reciprocated recognition of their Immorality, and it led them to God for forgiveness and cleansing.

Second, you “must” remember the importance of the cross. You see, if you permit a form of Immorality to create in your life, it will expand, which will cause you to forget the massive price Christ paid to exempt you from its repression.

Third, comprehend the impact sin has on others. In Psalm 119:136, the psalmist said, “My eyes weep streams of water because people do not keep Your law.” In Matt. 23:37 Jesus grieved over Jerusalem, saying, O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who murders the prophets and stones [to death] those [messengers] who are sent to her [by God]! How often I wanted to gather your children together [around Me], as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling.” Your heart should hurt for those confined to Immorality.

Beloved Immorality is a severe issue with God. He never has a twinkle in His eyes for Immorality nor takes it lightly.

Lastly, reject anything that impedes your understanding about sin, things like intentionally sinning, denying God’s forgiveness, being arrogant, taking credit for God’s grace, or taking sin casually. These kinds of things will immediately dim your spiritual senses and give Satan the chance to lead you into a more significant infraction. ✝️❤️

    Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing relief and joy to those who express grief over their Immorality. Father God, please guard my heart against anything that will weaken my compassion and understanding of the misery of Immorality. In Jesus’ Name, I Pray, Amen, and Aaamen. ✝️❤️

To God Be The Glory. Have a Happy Sunday, Everyone.

  • “The Path You Set Your Opinions On”

    4 24 2020 Bishop Houston's Weekend Words Proverbs 23 7
You know, Beloved, there are times we need to stop and think about what we’re experiencing or considering!!! The Bible informs us by saying what materializes on the inside of us “our opinions, concepts and objectives” are more valuable to God than what transpires on the outside. You can deceive people all day long by saying the proper things, but the scripture tells us that God is watching our mind and emotions. He wants our opinions and mindsets to be positioned with His Word so that we can see His assurances come to fruition in our lives.

Beloved, your life will stay on the path you set your opinions. When you parallel your views with God’s views, your life will follow Him. Jeremiah 29 tells us that His views are for our good. His opinions are for our tranquility. His ideas are for our victory!!! So, as we come to an end to another week and head into the weekend, associate your opinions with His views by reflecting on His Word. Incorporate His assurances so that you can move forward into the life of victory He has arranged for you!!! Amen? Aaamen. ✝️❤️😊

    Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, today I concede every area of my life to You. Help my opinions, “the way I look at things” line up with Your Word. As I end this week and You allow me to head into the weekend, bring Your assurances to my memory when I’m meditating on You. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen, and Aaamen. ✝️❤️

Have a Magnificent Friday and a Thoughtful and Astute Weekend, Everyone. ✝️❤️😊
  • “The Prolific Certainty”

    4 20 2020 John 15 4
    Praise The Lord Everyone!!! ✝️❤️😊

The first word in our focal morning passage is “REMAIN.” The verse is understandable and straight forward. There’s no intellectual or hidden meaning. It’s simple; it’s saying “stay connected, embrace, hold on.
Beloved, we’ve been called. We must remain in the vine or to stay connected to the vine in all things, from the most significant issues down to the tiniest matters in life. The passage above reminds us that Jesus is the vine and that for us to bear fruit, we must hold on to (stay connected) to the vine very tightly in our daily lives. We can’t be fruit bearers in this world unless we persistently stay snuggly connected to the authentic prolific fertile substance of Jesus Christ. One of our most vital responsibilities in this world is to bear fruit (be productive), and while we may find it challenging at times, ‘Remaining In Christ’ is the route that leads us into bearing fruit or being industrious for His glory.
Beloved, we must make it our daily responsibility to inspect our linkage to Christ to make sure we’re tightly connected to Him because our life resources flow from Him to us.
    Amen? Aaamen. ✝️❤️😊
    Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for operating within me. Help me to remain persistent in You even amid persecutions. Reinforce my faith so that I’ll always stay reminded that You’re capable of completing everything.
In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen and Aaamen. ✝️❤️
Let us all remember to wash our hands and continue to stay in compliance with social distancing.

  • “Liberated Captive”

April 19 2020 week 3 and 4 CHOF Bible Fellowship 'sSunday Morning Church Eph 17
Praise The Lord Everybody!!! Happy Sunday to you!!! Let us all remember to wash our hands and continue to stay in compliance with social distancing. ✝️❤️😊

Beloved, emancipation is priceless. Throughout history, people have begged, battled, and even perished for it. Beloved, our Declaration of Independence upholds it as one of our indisputable civil rights.

But the truth is, it doesn’t matter what one’s political views might be, everyone is a slave—either to immorality or to God. Jesus said in John 8:34: “everyone who sins is the slave of sin.” In Romans 8:21, Paul added that all of creation is in slavery to corruption. Yet, according to Romans 6:22, believers have “been freed from sin and enslaved to God.” The Roman Empire had about twenty million slaves. Slave trade was a significant industry. A recovery price had to be paid for a slave to gain his or her independence. Now, the Greek word for this kind of transaction is lutroō. In Ephesians 1:7, Paul uses the Greek word lutroō to speak of our “redemption” from sin’s bondage.

Beloved, Servitude to sin is bondage; servitude to God is liberty. That sounds contradictory, but God is the Sovereign King, and real independence means having the capability to bend your will to His, in other words, become all God has formed you. Sure, you will fail at times, but your extreme desire and main quest as a believer is to be like Christ (*1.) Those incarcerated to sin cannot do that, nor do they want to.

Beloved, it’s time to validate your proposal to Jesus. Let your attitudes and actions speak clearly of your love for the Master. ✝️❤️

    Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for keeping it real and being fair. You always provide what’s best and the safest for me. Lord, provide me with the strength that keeps me from seeking my interest. I understand that exploring my desires incarcerates me and is a contradiction to Your terms. Continue to guard me against my thoughts and actions that are contrary to Your will. In Jesus’ Name, I Pray, Amen, and Aaamen.
    ✝️❤️

  • CHOF Ministry’s “Probing For Spiritual Answers”

Probing For Spiritual Answers stop being victimized by my terrible embarrassing past
Q: Bishop Houston, I’ve been dealing with things I’ve done in my past that are now painful for me to think about today. I have tried to suppress them, but the hurt always seems to find its way back to set me back. What can I do to stop being victimized by my terrible embarrassing past?

Answer: Thank you for this “AWESOME” question!!!

I recognize your pain. Like yourself and so many others (me included) have had some past “not proud” of occurrences that seem to be engraved or stitched to our life. Being persecuted by your past can be challenging, especially living in an unforgiving world or surrounded by pitiless people that love to hold you down than help you up. But I have some good news for you. As a believer, we start the healing with a guarantee.
According to 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJ), “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.”:-D

Beloved, no matter how complex or hurtful, nothing less than comprehensive healing is assured to you in Jesus. The minute you were spiritually reborn, “EVERY” previous, current, and upcoming sin (even those delivered to you by someone else), was taken care of by Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. Spiritually you’re spotless before God, and by His Spirit, you can obtain a comprehensive rebuilding in every area of your life. We have faith in that every thought, memory, and emotion can come to a place of peace and healing.

I want you to understand that inner healing is often a process instead of an experience. Beloved, as you daily spend time with God and in His Word, you’ll discover that He provides healing to those inner hurts and memories of the past.

Uniting with God is a vital part of the procedure. “You” have to decide not to mentally relive those terrible experiences. It’s not an easy process, but when they creep into your mind or pitiless people attempt to install them remember you can control them by speaking God’s Word out of your mouth.

Let me give you an example:—when a hurtful thought comes, or a cold-blooded person tries to submerge you with guilt about your past, you can say out loud, “Father God, I thank You for providing me freedom through Jesus. Thank You for discharging my embarrassing past and releasing me to live guilt-free. And I thank You that all mental damage and all grief has been washed in Your blood. Right now, I choose to think about all the great things You’ve assured me, and I thank You for my healing in Jesus’ Name.”

Beloved, if you do this regularly, you’ll discover that the past will release its ability to influence “control” your future. I encourage you to press forward in your walk with God and know that you’re not alone. In Hebrews 13:5 God guaranteed you that He won’t leave or forsake you. God’s with you every step of the way to a completed restoration. Amen? Aaamen. ✝️❤️😊
