    “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”

    This passage encourages us to focus our thoughts on positive and virtuous things. By doing so, we can transform our perspective on life and positively influence our surroundings.

    🗣️Bishop Houston’s Contemplation:
    As we embark on a new week, it’s all too easy to become entangled in the forthcoming challenges and stressors. Our minds tend to latch onto the negative—deadlines looming, conflicts arising, or personal battles we’re facing. Yet, Apostle Paul urges a radical shift in focus—towards the true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable aspects of life, in Philippians 4:8.

    Choosing positivity is not mere naivety; it’s a powerful stance against the tide of negativity. It’s about recognizing the beauty in the mundane, the potential in apparent dead ends, and the light in the darkest of times. Imagine reapproaching a past challenge not with dread but with optimism. This change in attitude isn’t just uplifting; it’s transformative, paving the way for collaboration, innovation, and success.

    Beloved, this week, let’s consciously seek the good in every situation. When faced with obstacles, pause and reflect on Philippians 4:8. What elements in this scenario are true, noble, right, pure, lovely, or admirable? This shift in perspective might just reveal new paths to growth and achievement. Remember, adopting a positive attitude doesn’t mean ignoring reality’s harshness but choosing to focus on the good amidst it.

    Lord, guide us to always set our minds on what is true, noble, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. Grant us the fortitude to uphold a positive attitude in the midst of life’s trials and tribulations.      In these verses, James speaks to the heart of every creator facing trials. The silent rejection and criticism from others can be disheartening, yet it’s an opportunity for growth and resilience. 🌱

    Bishop Houston’s Contemplation:  
    As creators, we pour our essence into our work, seeking to inspire and impact. The journey, filled with passion and vulnerability, also brings encounters with silence and criticism from onlookers who steal our creative ideas, withhold support, and eventually challenge our creations. This dynamic can stir doubts about our value and the authenticity of our work. Yet, this reflection invites us to see these challenges as fuel for growth. 🔥

    Like the trials mentioned in James 1:2-3, these experiences test our faith in ourselves and our vision, urging us to persevere and refine our resilience. Our creative spirit, undeterred by attempts to undermine it, thrives on originality and the boundless expansion of our ideas. In this light, criticism transforms from a barrier into a catalyst, encouraging us to rise, adapt, and further ignite our creative fires. 🌈

    In the midst of frustration, we’re reminded that our authenticity, drawn from the unique wellspring of our soul, remains untouchable and irreplicable. Let’s choose to rise above the noise, cherishing the joy of creation and the support of those who truly value our art. Our resilience, rooted in self-worth and the courage to continue, showcases our ultimate strength as creators. 🎨❤️

    Heavenly Father, in the vast expanse of creation, You have endowed us with the ability to create and inspire. May our creations reflect Your glory and inspire others. Help us to see criticism as a path to growth and let us never lose sight of our unique worth in You. To God Be the Glory! 🌟

  • “God Has Your Plan Ready”

    4 3 2020 Bishop Houston's Weekend Words Psalm 37 23

    When we confront challenging circumstances, we can mentally be alerted into wondering if we’re on the appropriate route for our lives. And yes, occasionally, we make poor choices that get us off track. But when your heart is following after God, when you’ve decided to be confident in your faith and put Him first in your life, you can be self-confident that you’re right where God has designed you to be!!!
     
    You might say to yourself, “This couldn’t be right. This situation feels awkward, seems difficult, painful, or not sure. Somebody isn’t playing by the set of rules they gave me.” Beloved, God “WILL NOT” permit a challenging task to come into your life without His divine objective for it. It’s true, nothing in life occurs to us; it materializes for us. In other words, God uses those challenging and complicated things to develop us, reach us, and take us to another level.
     
    As we continue to perform collective separation, let us all use this time to explore the way we think and act. If you find that you’re spiritually offbeat, off course, or unsteady, there’s no better time than the present to seek God and ask Him to arraign or rearrange your steps.
     
    Beloved as we end this week and head into the weekend, stay in prayer, remain faithful, provide the right attitude, and let Him lead you into the excellent plan He has prepared for you!!! Amen? Aaamen. ✝️❤️😊
     
    Let Us Pray:
    Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for arranging my steps. I’m ready to receive Your plan for my life. As I receive Your plan, I have confidence that You’re at work in my life when I don’t understand – even during this pandemic. Give me the spiritual, mental intensity, and courage to do what is right in Your sight. I’m so thankful. You’re in my life today and always. In Jesus’s name, I pray, Amen and Aaamen. ✝️❤️

    Happy Monday to each of you.

    Beloved, one of the most vital parts of the armor of God is the belt of truth. Its importance lies in its key function – to secure or attach. Without the truth, things slip into disorder or confusion. There would be misconceptions, misunderstanding; wrong viewpoints, the wrong perceptions eventually leading to bad choices. It’s the truth that clears up misunderstandings and uncertainties. That’s why the truth has led us to salvation and freedom according to what Jesus says in John 8:32. This morning’s verse tells us that we should fasten the belt of truth. It means that we should allow it to stick to us. Beloved, let’s not allow ourselves to be deceived by false teachings and beliefs. The Bible is the source of truth that we must learn from as well as God’s Church/ministry so that we have a direction to distinguish the lies from the truth. The truth permits us to draw closer to God. Amen? 😀 Aaamen. 😀

    Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE TOO LATE – I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have an Exciting Monday.

    In the Old Testament, God’s people were going through a very tough time. They were being enslaved against their will and abused by other nations. God sent this word to encourage and inspire them and give them hope for their future. When the time came, God was faithful to His Word!!!
     
    Beloved, this weekend you may be faced with a tough issue or two. I encourage you to let God’s word bring you inspiration.
     
    Beloved, we serve a God who goes above and beyond our hopes. He wants to bless you with twins this weekend. No, I’m not speaking about human twins I’m talking about twin blessings. 😀 He wants to bless you double for your trouble. He wants to renovate and modernize your life to make things much better than before.
     
    Beloved, this weekend if you face trials or tribulations, remember, it’s always darkest just before the dawn appears. Your days are designed to shine brighter because God is faithful. This weekend, as you stay in faith and are obedient to His Word, you’ll receive twin blessings for your trouble and see God go above and beyond in every area of your life!!!

    Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your faithfulness in my life. Thank You for guiding and organizing my steps. I know that You’ll give me twin blessings for my worries and doubts as I keep my mind and emotions focused on You.

  • “Remember Who Is Real”

    Praise the Lord Beloved.

    You know Beloved, at times all of us get our Christian foundation shook by some type of adversity or situation which tries to shake our faith in God. But as real as the issue may seem God is “Real” and bigger than the adversity or situation.

    There’s nothing too hard for God to repair. Just take all your cares to Him in prayer and then stand back and watch the salvation of the Lord.

    Beloved, when adversities or situations make you question the “TRUTH – GOD”, and though we may not see Him physically you must remember “God Is Real” and He loves you completely.

    15 Do not love this world nor the things it offers you, for when you love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you.

    Praise the Lord Beloved,

    Beloved, Jesus fed a multitude but very few fed Him.

    God loved the World so much that
    He gave His Word so everyone could live,
    but everyone doesn’t love The Word and many
    don’t live their life by The Word.

    Beloved, don’t think it’s strange when you have come up and out of the world things start to erode. In other words, when you stop doing the worldly things you use to do in the world, you’ll notice that the world will try to disrobe, rob, and will abandon you spiritually, mentally, physically, and financially. The worldly will keep you malnourished, unloved and friendless. The worldly is always trying to make you their slave even when they recognize you’re now a new walking and talking creation of God.

    When this happens just remember John 15:18-25 (NLT):
    18 “If the world hates you, remember that it hated me first.
    19 The world would love you as one of its own if you belonged to it, but you are no longer part of the world. I chose you to come out of the world, so it hates you.

    Praise the Lord Beloved,
    What a joyful day to serve the Lord.

    You know Beloved,
    There’s something about each and every one of us that gives us an advantage in some things we do in this life. I’ve heard people say, “I don’t know what it is, but they’ve got it.”

    I call it “The Loving Favor” of God.”

    Beloved, when God breathed His life into you, He put something in you to give you an advantage in this life. There’s something about you that makes you stand out, something that draws opportunity, something that causes you to overcome obstacles, to accomplish dreams. The Scripture calls it “the gracious hand of God.” Beloved, I call it God’s loving favor. It’s His blessing. You can’t put your finger on it. It’s not just your talent, your education, your hard work. It’s Almighty God breathing in your direction.

    Beloved, today, remember, if you’ve received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, then you’ve got it!!! Receive it by faith today and let The Loving Favor of God shine on your every step!!!
