  • “The Obligation of a Cleric”

    12 4 2019 1 Pet 2 5 The Obligations of Clerics
    Praise the Lord Everyone!!! 😀

You know, Christians are assigned similar spiritual attributes as the Old Testament priests. Peter considers believers as holy priests (pastors, minister, elders), but actually there are many Christians who don’t know what that means because priests aren’t as active in our common daily activity in our society today.

The main purpose of an Old Testament priest was to submit appropriate sacrifices to God on behalf of the people. Priests were selected by God Himself, specially cleansed through approved rituals, clothed in a specified fashion, and anointed with oil as symbolic of God’s Spirit upon them. They were expected to obey God, love His Word, and walk with Him.

Beloved, faithful priests had an encouraging influence on believers and unbelievers. Malachi 2:6 (NCV) says: “and they kept many people from sinning.” Verse 7 adds that “A priest should teach what he knows, and people should learn the teachings from him, because he is the messenger of the Lord All-Powerful.”

Those credentials are similar in Christians, whom God considers as the only true priests (pastors, minister, elders). You were chosen by Him from before the foundation of the world – refined, restored, rejuvenated and restarted by the Holy Spirit. Beloved, You’re clothed with the righteousness of Christ and anointed by the Holy Spirit. 1 Pet. 2:5 says: Your purpose is “to offer spiritual sacrifices [that are] acceptable and pleasing to God through Jesus Christ.” Rom. 12:1 informs you to present your body a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. In other words, obedience, love for the Word, and a close relationship with God should characterize your life. Saints and sinners should see Christ in you and be inspired by what they see.

Beloved, the priesthood of believers is a high and holy calling to which no one is suited apart from God’s grace and power, and I assure you that He who called you will accomplish His good pleasure in you. So, I encourage you to stay committed to the goal God has placed before you each day as you lean on His resources and trust in His sufficiency. Amen? Aaamen. ✝️❤️😊

    CHOF Ministry’s Mid-Week Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the ministry you have assigned to me. Father God, please continue to use me and CHOF/BWFHJr ministry, along with my fellow clergy brothers and sisters and their ministries today as we provide and influence others selflessly according to Your directives. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen and Amen.

Beloved life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone you love and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE TOO LATE.

I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have an “Amazing” Wednesday. 😀

  • “Overcoming Evil with Love and Exemplified Courtesy”

Monday 5 10 2019 Let Us Pray Overcoming Evil With Love and Exemplified CourtesyPraise the Lord Beloved!!! 😀 Happy Monday to you all. 😀

You know Beloved, the Holy Bible instructs us to love and exemplify courtesy toward our enemies. Matthew 5:44 (NLT) says: “But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you. The Word commands us (Matthew 5:39-41) to turn the left cheek when someone slaps our right one. We’re to give our shirt if anyone wants to sue us and also present them with our best clothing item. 1 Peter 3:9 and Romans 12:17 instructs us: “DON’T” repay abuse for abuse but repay it with a blessing”. Romans 12:20 says if your enemy is hungry, feed them and give them a drink when they’re thirsty.

I have a clergy associate who’s a very strong guy in the Word. He had several others under his spiritual covenant who were following the guidelines of his ministry and progressing rather well – all but one. This young man wanted to run the church “he wanted the church” so he inserted uneasiness and provoked scrupulous tactical maneuvers to clown the pastor. This was not a good look for the pastor, or his leadership role.

So, after a few months of this associate minister’s antics the pastor finally got fed up and called a meeting with a couple of powerful deacons and other associate ministers and reprimanded him. They got into a “VERY HEATED” argument and it almost came to blows. One day I rode with the pastor to go visit a friend in the hospital, on our way we saw him pulled over – he had a flat tire. The pastor and I looked at each other and he turned around and we went too his aide. Once we got there, we found out he didn’t have a spare tire. So, we took him and his tire to an automotive shop to get the tire repaired. He asked the clerk how much it would be to repair his tire. The clerk quoted him the price and he did not have the amount to pay the fee. Beloved, without soliciting the young man’s consent, the pastor paid the repairman directly the exact amount. That gesture repaired any tension or animosity between them and to this day, they’re good friends.

Undeniably, to overcome evil with the same is catastrophic, but overcoming evil with love and exemplified courtesy brings lasting peace and joy. Amen-Aaamen. 😀

Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them,

  • “Early in The Morning”

    Monday 5 20 2019 Let Us Pray Bible Verse Mark 1 25

Praise the Lord Beloved. 😀 Happy Monday to you all.

We know from the Gospel that Jesus prayed early in the morning, often in a quiet and isolated place. I’m a firm believer that early mornings are the perfect time for prayer. I like to get up early in the morning while everything is still quiet. To me the world’s expression looks so nonviolent and blameless at that time, like sin never came into it, like there’s no evil. My mind and emotions are tranquil and unobstructed by the disorder of daily life. It’s in those times, I feel very close to the Lord. When I “Early in The Morning” the fresh morning air, praising His Holy Name and thanking Him for all that He’s given me, both good and bad, I feel so stress-free and protected. It’s my moment, my moment of peace and quiet, my moment of communion. It’s God who gives me the strength to cope with the problems of that day. I feel renewed by His Spirit and encouraged by His Word. I encourage everyone to try this. Beloved, before you begin the day, spend some time with Him in prayer, feel the harmony of His Spirit and the liberation of His presence. You’ll be amazed. 😀 Amen – Aaamen. 😀
