  • “Reproving Warnings”

    10 1 2019 Jonah 3 5
Praise the Lord Beloved. Happy New Month. 😀

Allow me to give you a little backdrop about our morning’s verse: Jonah had just been spit out of the mouth of the massive fish and God has called him a “second” time. This time Jonah responds and obeys God’s call. He travels to Nineveh and speaks the message that God has assigned him with. Now, it wasn’t one of those messages that are easy to hear either. It was a powerful message with a strong warning from God for the people of Nineveh, “REPENT or BE DESTROYED.” Wow!!! That’s a really disturbing message, wouldn’t you agree? But it was precisely what the Ninevites needed to hear.

Beloved, sometimes in life we need to hear those powerful reproving warnings in order for God to actually get through to us. It’s never easy, but sometimes it’s precisely what we need to hear and act on. Amen? Aaamen. 😀

    Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, I know that You love me. I pray that You speak to my mind today. Give me the words I precisely need to hear and then help me to act in accordance with them.
In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.

Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE TOO LATE – I LOVE YOU ALL!!!

Have a blessed October and a pleasant Tuesday Everyone.

    “Get in Position to Hear”

    CHOF Ministry’s Scripture for Today:
    John 10:27, (AMP)
The sheep that are My own hear and are listening to My voice; and I know them, and they follow Me.

    Praise the Lord Beloved!!! 😀

You know Beloved, there are so many believers that are unsure, insecure and even shy about their ability to hear God or know His voice. They’re always afraid that they won’t be able to tell when the Spirit of God is talking to them.

But, what they don’t realize is this: Hearing the voice of the Spirit is a privilege that the Bible says belongs to every believer. Romans 8:14 says:
“For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.”

All we have to do to exercise that privilege is to receive it by faith and put ourselves in a position to hear. So, the next time the devil tries to tell you that you can’t hear God’s voice, remember that.
John 16:13 says: Jesus said His sheep will know His voice and a stranger’s voice they will not follow.

Beloved, that’s a promise of God to you today. You see, the Spirit of God will never guide you in opposition to the written Word of God. So, if you’re not familiar with what the Word says, you’ll find it more difficult to discern His leading.
Get familiar with God’s voice by meditating and studying the Word of God. Follow God’s instruction to Joshua and meditate on it day and night. Act on what you find in the Word, not just when it’s easy and everything is going right, but every time. Be obedient even in the slightest things.

Beloved, that constant obedience to the written Word will bring you into maturity and tune your inward ear to the voice of the Spirit. You’ll soon be able to recognize it as easily as you recognize the voice of your Best friend.

So, instead of wondering about it, start expecting to hear from Him. Start sharpening your spiritual ears by spending time in the Word.

    To God Be the Glory!!!

  • “I’M LISTENING-CAN YOU HEAR ME?”

    Im listening

Praise the Beloved. Here we are once again with another weekend upon us.
Let us all thank God for this blessing.
Beloved, this weekend let us all remember that “much said” is not always a great choice. Wanting to be heard “ALL” the time is not a good practice. At times, your point of view is not the point of view of others. You see, sometimes we have the belief that the listener should agree with everything we say and be just as upset as we are or as joyful as we are. Many think that’s the only way to show that he or she is really listening. WRONG!!! Beloved, listening is hearing, understanding, reflecting, and processing information. I can listen to your thoughts and feelings without agreeing with your point of view. You and I are different people. It doesn’t mean I don’t care for you if I don’t agree with you. It means I am hearing you. But sometimes the speaker can attack the listener for not agreeing 100 percent. That seems unrealistic and unfair.
Beloved, we all need to accept the differences that make us unique. In fact, the differences can be opportunities for growth. When you talk to someone who understands you and cares about your “feelings” but doesn’t agree with your interpretation of events, it opens your mind to the fact that there’s more than one way to think about things.
Beloved, this weekend let’s remember, sometimes still waters run deeper than an open ocean.
    Have a Blessed Weekend Everyone.
