  • “Your Mindset During Harsh Conditions”

12 13 2019 Bishop Houston's Weekend Words Philippians 2 5.pngBeloved, your mindset establishes your elevation. In other words, being optimistic, with an unwavering spirit, filled with jammed packed faith will affect how you elevate in life, but a pessimistic, egotistical mindset will eventually sideline you (get you benched.)

When we face hardships, difficult times, or in a bad situation our mindset influences the effect on the result. How correctly we handle people when we’re being victimized or neglected. How joyful and upbeat we continue to be even when the foundation and walls of our life seem to split and collapse. There are so many people that get all twisted out of shape, become critical and start whining when things don’t go their way. But that kind of mindset only shut down the entrance to God’s phenomenal-operating capabilities. The Bible says that faith pleases God. Understand that He’s seeking to work in your life. He’s trying to get you primed for promotion “elevation”!!! But you’ve got to stay on His side. If you’re going through a challenging – complicated time today, I encourage you to keep a mindset of confidence and anticipation. It’s OK to thank God for carrying you through to the other side. As you stay strong, I believe your promotion-elevation is just around the corner. I believe you’ll come out spiritually firmer, with anointed wisdom. But you must stay focused on moving further into the copious life God has for you!!!

So Beloved, as you start this Friday and be blessed to head into this weekend remember, it’s crucial “ESSENTIAL” for you to stand strong and fight that good fight of faith!!! Amen? Aaamen.

    Weekend Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, today I have an optimistic, and an unwavering spirit, filled with jammed packed faith. I have confidence in You and believe You even when things don’t humanly make sense or impress me mentally or emotionally. I know You have a good quality plan for me, and I have faith that You’re putting in work “right now” making everything appropriate for my good. In Jesus’ Mighty Name, I pray, Amen and Amen.

I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have a pleasant Friday and a fantastic weekend everyone. ✝️❤️😊

  • “It’s Only Transitory”

    9 29 2019 week 2 Bishop Houston's Sunday Morning Church Post It's Only Transitory

In this world, every one of us has difficulties and troubling situations, but aren’t you happy that scripture promises that they’re only transitory? Our Sunday morning verse tells us they’re momentary – this too shall pass. Compared with eternity, our difficulties won’t last always!!! The second part of this verse tells us that when we stand strong in faith during times of hardship, we’re building that faith and attaining eternal glory. When you acknowledge your trust and reliance on God, you’re passing the exam!!!

Beloved, if you’re in the central part of tough times in your life, look to God. The Bible says that Jesus is the author and finisher of your faith. He’s the one who writes faith on the tablet of your mind and seal’s it on the walls of your emotions then matures it until it’s completed on the inside of you as you submit yourself to Him. The only requirements for you are to: SEEK HIM DAILY, FOLLOW HIS COMMANDS, OPEN YOUR HEART AND CHOOSE TO SPEAK HIS WORD which is alive, and dynamic. Remember, your troubling situations are only transitory, but His eternal glory dwarfs them all!!!

    Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for working Your eternal glory in me. I cast every one of my cares on You, knowing that my difficulties and troubling situations are only transitory. Thank You for Your eternal blessing on my life today and always. In Jesus’ Name, I Pray, Amen and Aaamen.

Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE – TOO LATE.

I LOVE YOU ALL!!! – Have a “Blessed” Sunday, Everyone. 😀

  • “Hardship – Just Passing Through”

    Hardship Just Passing Through
    2 Timothy 2:3 (AMP)
“Take with me your share of hardship [passing through the difficulties which you are called to endure], like a good soldier of Christ Jesus.”

You know, there are going to be times when inflexibility is unavoidable. You need to know that. It’s true that we’ve been redeemed (converted) from the curse, and there’s nothing Satan can do to reverse that, but believe me, he’s going to challenge you on it.

So, don’t be astonished when things get rough, when people get upset when you won’t bow down to them or won’t bend for them anymore. There will be times when you must stand strictly – firmly by faith, when you’ll have to speak and act as though what God says is true even when you can’t feel it or see it happening around you.

There’ll be times when everything looks terrible. That’s when you must endure hardship as a good soldier as you pass through.

There are so many people that hear the word of faith about healing or prosperity and they think, Hey!!! I’m going to try that. Then when the hard times come, they give up and cave in.

Let me warn you right now, living by faith isn’t something you try. It’s a lifestyle. You do it when it’s hard. You do it when it’s easy. You do it all the time because you’re not doing it just to get in on the benefits. You’re doing it because you know that faith pleases God.

Beloved, things may get a little rough at times, but I assure you, you’ll always come out on top if you endure hardship as a good soldier. If you refuse to get weak and lose focus, you’ll have the victory.

The only defeated Christian is the one who quits!!!

    Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, Lord through Your Spirit I come asking You to help us to live in Your patient love. Open our eyes to see Your goodness and truth surrounding us, even in this troubled world. We look to You, Almighty God. Protect us in these difficult times. We look no further than You.

    In Jesus’s Name I Pray,
    Amen and Amen.

    Have a blessed Sunday.
