  • “Who Are You Hanging With?”

    4 10 2020 Bishop Houston's Weekend WordsProverbs 13 20
Beloved, it’s not just vital how we devote our time, but who we devote our time with. The only thing that’s preventing some people from a different fresh, elevated level to their destiny is incorrect friendships. You may have to cut off (disconnect) some relationships that aren’t increasing or improving value to your life. Don’t be around people who aren’t keeping it 100, always throwing you under the bus, aren’t going anywhere, who have no ambitions or visions, who compromise and take the easy way out.

Beloved, if you allow mediocrity, “it will” enter you like
COVID-19 and will psychologically meticulously clean you out. If you hang out with envious, critical, angry people, you’ll end up vindictive, vicious, and angry. You won’t be the person God created you to be hanging out with them.

So, as we end another week and prepare to enter the weekend, take a good hard look at your list of friends!!! If your friends are winners, leaders, contributors, supporters, and productive, if they have integrity, a spirit of quality, distinction, is optimistic, confident, and motivated, those good qualities are what you want to hang out with. Invest your time with them. They’re going to make you better. Amen? Aaamen.
    ✝️❤️😊

    Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the connections and friends in my life who refine me, motivate me, promote me, and boost me forward. Help me to know if there are connections that I need to disconnect and friendships that I need to be cautious of or cut off. I want to hang out with the proper – decent people. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen and Aaamen.” ✝️❤️

Have a lovely Friday and a Guarded and Prudent Weekend, Everyone. ✝️❤️😊
  • “Astute Friends”

    Monday 6 24 2019 Let Us Pray 13 20 Proverbs

Good Morning Beloved, Happy Monday!!! 😀
When I was younger, my momma warned me about selecting my friends wisely. But being young and naive, all I could think about was having fun ‘kicking it”. It took me many years to understand that she wanted me to avoid deceitful and malicious company. I thought it was just another pointless apprehension on her part, but her advice proved to be very significant. That’s because our peers have an unswerving influential effect (power) on us. This morning’s bible verse sounds practical but it’s intensely true. You see, to be astute is to walk with the astute. Though being with them doesn’t mean that their insight, understanding, and knowledge will rub off on us automatically, but at least we give ourselves a chance and a glimpse on how to live prudently. It also keeps us from damage control and out of destruction’s way as the friend of the fools is the straight road to ruin.
Beloved, trying to save a person who doesn’t want to be saved in the first place is actually a problem and very difficult. Extended interaction with deceitful, malicious and unethical company will eventually corrupt. We need to remember and accept that only God can really change a person’s heart and ways.
Beloved, from time to time, it’s mentally, spiritually and monetarily, healthier to avoid than to engage.
    Amen? – Aaamen.
Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them,
BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE – TOO LATE.
Our ministry continues to grow. God has truly been good to us!!! We thank each and every one of you for helping to make this possible. And be sure to like, share, or forward this on to a friend so we can “Together” continue to spread God’s word.
I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have a blessed Monday Everyone. 😀
  • “Does Your Voice Match Your Personality?”

new monday morning blog act 6 1 through 6

Beloved, as Christians, we correctly place great importance on creating a solid personal account of the Lord’s work in our life. We also have conversations about the ways that we can show Jesus Christ to our friends, family, and coworkers through our actions. But personality is the part of every believer’s testimony that inspires both Christlike behavior and an honest life story.

In other words, what we do and say epitomizes the kind of person we are on the inside. Likewise, we can tell a lot about Philip’s Personality by noticing his actions and words recorded in Scripture. From among many believers, Philip was chosen as one who was wise and full of the Spirit. He wasn’t selected for a prestigious ministry position, NO!!! He was sent to serve food. Yet he went willingly to do this work and every other job the Lord gave Him, which shows his obedient spirit. (When you have time, you can read how obedient to the tasks that was asked of Phillip – Acts 6:5; Acts 8:5; Acts 8:26). Acts 8:6 gives us a great illustration how sincere and trustworthy Phillip was because it says when he spoke, people listened. Philip’s testimony shines in every way.

Beloved, how you speak tells a lot about who you are. Your voice will eventually match your personality.

    Have a blessed week Everyone.
