“Is it Okay to Worry about Things?”

The answer is No!!!As Christians in today’s society it is so easy to get bogged down by the world’s events, happenings and problems.
The world’s drama leads to anxiety that causes us as Christian to become anxious, distressed and troubled.
In Philippians 4:6 (AMP) 6 Do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific ] requests known to God.
So in essence, God does not want us as Christians to get caught up in the midst of the world’s chaos. We are not to become consumed or overwhelmed from the fears, anxieties and worries of the world.
Instead, we are to conquer those fears, anxieties and worries, by seeking God’s guidance through our prayers, specific requests and petitions in each and everything that we do.
God Bless you all,
Enjoy the rest of your week! 😀 -
First Lady, Donece Houston’s Christian Concept

Is there a way to choose the right paths to take in our Christian Walk? The answer is Yes!!!
In our Christian walk we are faced with all types of choices, situations, problems and issues on a daily basis.
It is so easy to get caught up in our emotions over the difficulties that come up against us.
Making the wrong decisions to those difficulties that we encounter can lead to catastrophes in our Christian Walk.
***It is during those times that we need to turn to God and put our full trust and confidence in Him to direct us to take the correct paths in our Christian Walk.
In Proverbs 3: 5-6 (AMP) 5 Trust in and rely confidently on the Lord with all your heart And do not rely on your own insight or understanding. 6 In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, And He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way].
So in essence, we must rely on God in everything that we do. We can’t get caught up in our emotions, beliefs, opinions and feel goods. We must wholly trust and believe in God with all of the endeavors and difficulties in our lives.
***Remember once we turn over the control of our lives to God; He will then remove and fix all the obstacles that come up against us in our Christian Walk.
God Bless you all,
and enjoy the rest of your week! -
“Is there a reason why I am being hated on by the world?”

The answer is Yes!!!In our Christian walk we come up against obstacles, conflicts, hardships, hatred, and opposition on a daily basis.Through relationships, situations and daily life occurrences we are often made to feel like we are outcasts, outsiders, ostracized and excluded by the world.
***It is during these times that we as Christians feel like it is us against the world. The truth is: “the world is against us”. In fact, we are hated and despised by the world; because as Christians we are no longer a part of the world. The world loves its own, and the world is designed to love, nurture and protect its own.
Not only does the world hate Christians, but the world hated Jesus first.
Jesus has chosen us to be part of Him; ending all of our ties with the world. With all of our ties to the world being severed, there are no more connections. We no longer belong to the world. So now instead of the world loving us it now hates us.
In John 15: 18 – 19 (AMP) 18 “If the world hates you [and it does], know that it has hated Me before it hated you. 19 If you belonged to the world, the world would love [you as] its own and would treat you with affection. But you are not of the world [you no longer belong to it], but I have chosen you out of the world. And because of this the world hates you.
So in essence, since we are no longer a part of the world, we can’t expect to get the joys, accolades, love, affections, acceptance and rewards from the world.
So don’t get discouraged and dejected when you are hurt, rejected, excluded, ostracized and hated on by the world.
***Remember the world loves and takes care of its own. We have been set aside. Jesus has handpicked and chosen us to be a part of Him.
God Bless you all,Enjoy the rest of your week and have a blessed Christmas!

Does Getting Baptized Guarantee Salvation for you?

The answer is NO!!!
***Your decision of rather or not to get baptized will not be a deciding factor toward your Salvation.
In fact Baptism is just a symbolism that is used as a way for us to publicly show our transformation to a new life in Christ.
Symbolism in a submerged Baptism is shown as followed:
When we are submerged into the water it symbolizes our deathWhen we are under the water it symbolizes our burial. When we come out of the water it symbolizes our new life.
In 1 Peter 3:21 (AMP) it confirms that baptism is just a demonstration or a symbolism of the new life in Christ that
we as believers are choosing to follow.
So in essence, the ritual of baptism does not guarantee us salvation or save us.
***Being baptized is not what saves us; what saves us is the confession of our sins and receiving Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior.
God Bless you all,

“Can the Tongue Cause Damage?”
The answer is YES!!!One of the hardest things for us to keep under control is our “Tongue”. Even though it is one of the smallest parts of our bodies, it has the capability of producing massive amounts of joy, happiness, love, sorrow, misery, hate and pain.
In today’s society our “Tongue” has the power to spread love or reap a lot of destruction.
It takes a lot of self-control to keep that little member of our body under control.
However as a true Christian it is our responsibility to control our “Tongue”.
In James 3:8 (AMP) it shows that the human tongue is not able to be tamed, because the human tongue is agitated, unmanageable, disturbed and full of toxic venom
So in essence, it is very difficult to keep our tongue under control. However as true Christians, we must continually monitor our conversation to ensure that our “Tongue” is being used to edify, encourage, nurture and love one another. This has to be executed on a regular basis to prevent our “Tongue” from being used against each other to cause hurt, humiliation, and irreversible damage.
God Bless you all,
Have a great week! 🙂
