    Weekend Words Father's Day.png
“Praise the Lord Beloved. 😀 Happy Friday to you all. 😀

Beloved, as we all know Father’s Day is Sunday. And it’s a day we honor our fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and all the other men who have played an important role in our lives, whether natural or spiritual.

Whoever that person is in your life, his role comes directly from God, Genesis 18:19 says: “For I have chosen him, in order that he may command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing righteousness and justice”.

Beloved, this Father’s Day weekend let’s praise the men who have taken on the role of fathering through educating, mentoring, and providing an illustration of how to live a life of faith. Let’s thank the Lord for His goodness in bringing these men into our lives.

Have a blessed Friday and a Fantastic Father’s Day Weekend. 😀

  • “It’s OK to Be Different”

Walk with me Lord It's OK To Be Different

This mornings’ Scripture reading comes from
    1 Peter 2:11 (NLT)

Dear friends, I warn you as “temporary residents and foreigners” to keep away from worldly desires that wage war against your very souls.
Praise the Lord Everyone and Happy Father’s Day to the Fathers all around the world.

You know, when you become devoted to Christ, your life becomes different. Your mentality changes. Everything about you becomes different. When we follow God’s directions, it means we do things differently from others. It means, instead of being offended or upset, we choose love and tranquility. Instead of insisting on our way, we assist others. Beloved, it means, instead of trying to be right all the time, we build and lift others up.

Now, this isn’t the way most people in the world act, but that’s okay. As Christians (Believers) we’re called to be different. We’re called to rise higher. We’re called to be examples, an illustration of God’s grace, mercy and forgiveness. It may not make sense to others but that’s okay!!! 😀 God will promote you to a new level of blessing and victory when you obligate yourself fully to Him.

Beloved, you don’t have to live a life of mediocrity, you can live a life of excellence for God. Live a life pleasing to Him and don’t be afraid to be different!!!

    Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for transforming me into Your image. I know that I’m not like the world, I’m set apart for You. Help me to love like You and be a light everywhere I go. In Jesus’ Mighty Name I pray, Amen and Amen!!!

May your Father’s Day Sunday be Blessed in the Lord. 😀

  • Spiritual Focus”

Praise the Lord Beloved. Happy Friday and Happy Father’s Day Weekend. 😀

Beloved determining to stay spiritually decent and in order is a choice not a command. But, when we honor the Lord by being spiritually upright, the Lord changes the way that believers decide on different occurrences that spring into their life.

Beloved, your spiritual conclusion won’t always be favorable to many especially the carnal minded (worldly) people. So, as we approach this Father’s Day weekend, instead of following our carnal predispositions or compulsions, choose to seek God’s platform to look at every situation you may encounter. OH!!! And one other thing, rather than relying on other people’s advice or information choose to search scripture for confirmation on what you hear the Lord is saying to you. Eventually, you’ll get use to discerning the quiet voice of the Holy Spirit, and the voices of the world “will” weaken.

Have a Blessed and Happy Father’s Day Weekend Everyone!!! 😀
  • “CHOF Ministry Sunday Morning Devotion”

Sunday Morning A Call for Devotion Logo Picture 1.png
I was glad when they said unto me, let us go into the house of the Lord.” (Psalm 122:1))

    Proverbs 14:26
Whoever fears the Lord has a secure fortress, and for their children it will be a refuge.

You know, no one should be able to teach your child or children like you can. No babysitter, Sunday school teacher, aunt, uncle or in-law should not have the authority to instruct you child or children. This is an extraordinary privilege God has provided.

Beloved, God is everyone’s Father. Just think about all the emotions He must deal with all day every day. There isn’t an emotion on earth He hasn’t dealt with. There are many parents who are separated from their child or children. If you think it’s something new, well, think again because it’s not. God was separated from His child also. Is someone mistreating, or leading your child or children? They ridiculed and bullied God’s child. Is someone taking advantage (using) of your child? The Son of God was set up by false testimony and betrayed by a greedy follower.

I’m sure there are many of you that are forced to watch while your child suffers?
God watched His Son on the cross.

Beloved, we’re God’s children, suffering in a world of immorality that inflicts destruction on our bodies, warps our minds, and severs our relationships. We have an awesome Father. He doesn’t shrug His shoulders and say, “Oh well, that’s life, nor does He say, “It sucks to be you.”  He didn’t go to all the trouble of introducing Himself to the world with the title of Father for nothing.

God chose a relationship title you I can identify with. We can now understand His heart when one of us (His children) are in pain.

So, whatever emotions you feel about your child or children, God feels about your child. Maybe more!!! I know that’s hard to believe, but God has known your child or children longer than you have. He hurt for your child/children before he/she was born. You’re not alone. When you shed tears, your Father is crying right by your side.

God’s the Father of your child/children also. Just as you’ll do everything to help your child/children during his/her pain, so will God.

    Have a blessed Father’s Day.

  • CHOF Ministry Sunday Morning Devotional!!!

“Happy Father’s Day to the Fathers all over the world.”

    “The Significance of the Cross”

John 19:17-22 New Living Translation (NLT)
17 Carrying the cross by himself, he went to the place called Place of the Skull (in Hebrew, Golgotha). 18 There they nailed him to the cross. Two others were crucified with him, one on either side, with Jesus between them. 19 And Pilate posted a sign on the cross that read, “Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews.” 20 The place where Jesus was crucified was near the city, and the sign was written in Hebrew, Latin, and Greek so that many people could read it.

21 Then the leading priests objected and said to Pilate, “Change it from ‘The King of the Jews’ to ‘He said, I am King of the Jews.’”

22 Pilate replied, “No, what I have written, I have written.”

    Praise the Lord Beloved.
This is another day that the Lord has made,
let us once again all rejoice and be glad in it.

You know Beloved, in Jesus’ day, the cross was used by the Roman government to execute criminals. God transformed it into a symbol that unites Christians everywhere and it stands at the heart of what we believe and serves as a central focus of the gospel message.

When we reflect on the cross, we think about:

    1. Jesus and His perfect life.
You see, our Savior left heaven to dwell on earth and become one of us. While here, He obediently accomplished the work His Father had given Him.

    2. The Crucifixion.
Beloved, Christ went willingly to the cross in order to reconcile us to God. He suffered a painful death on our behalf, and through His sacrifice, our sin debt has been paid.

    3. Resurrection and Ascension.
Three days after Jesus was buried, God raised Him from the dead. The Savior’s sacrifice on the cross was accepted as payment for our sins, and the way to heaven was opened for all who trust in Jesus.

Beloved, every Sunday I invite people to place their faith in Jesus Christ, and this Sunday is no different. I’m extending the invitation right now right here, for anyone who doesn’t have faith or a  relationship with Christ. Beloved, because of the cross and what happened there, this invitation has great value to anyone who listens. In fact, the events of Calvary continue to be relevant to Christians of all ages.  Our resurrected Lord, appeared on earth to many people and has ascended to live forever with His Father.

Beloved, if you’re not living morally correct (according to the will of God) then your house is out of order. Today, RIGHT NOW!!! Is a great time to get your house in order. In John 3:3 Jesus tells us one must be born again to see the Kingdom of God.

Beloved, Jesus conquered death and made it possible for us to dwell in heaven with Him someday.
Let’s all thank the Lord for the cross.

Have a blessed Father’s Day Sunday Everyone…Sunday Morning The Significance of the Cross
