  • “The Truth Is Priceless”

    2 24 20201 1 Samuel 1 4

Praise the Lord and Happy Monday to each of you. ✝️❤️😊

You know God’s enormous existence in our life makes us conscious of our deficiencies. It also makes us comprehend our faults and our total reliance on Him. He’s holy, and only in Christ, will we realize reality “THE TRUTH” and speak about it. But now and then speaking the truth makes a person unpopular because many don’t want to listen to it. Notice in this morning’s passage that the elders of the city of Bethlehem were trembling (terrified) when they met prophet Samuel because of fear.
You know, when I was younger, I was timid, as I grew into a young adult, I became bolder and more candid and a bit of a combative type. I pretty much didn’t shy away from telling others their faults, particularly those who were close to me. But as I moved toward the stage of an older adult and going through many trials and tribulations taught me that occasionally we need to keep quiet no matter what the circumstances are. I also learned that sometimes we need to rephrase our statements in order not to be rude to the listener. We must also remember scripture says that it’s the truth that frees us. So always keep in mind, honesty even when it’s heartbreaking is still better than cunning lies produced beautifully. Amen? Aaamen. ✝️❤️😊

    Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we respectfully ask for Your forgiveness for times we don’t speak or inhabit the truth. Lord, purify our emotions and minds from all deceit. Thank You for the Holy Spirit that persistently convicts us to only talk about facts. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen and Amen. ✝️❤️

Beloved, CHOF Ministry & BWFHJr. Ministry genuinely appreciates all the reassurance and thoughtful words we receive from our and readers and listeners. It’s so uplifting to hear how God is changing your lives.

    God bless, Bishop Houston.

Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will enter our earthly room and blow out our candle. So, reach out and touch the ones that need your agape, dissolve the divisions among you, continue to encourage one another, be united in the same mind, the same reasoning and continue to build one another up.

I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have a wonderful Monday and a wonderful week. ✝️❤️😊
  • “Expressing Thanks and Proclaiming Victory”

    2 2 2020 week 1 through 2 Bishop Houston's Sunday Morning Church 1 Peter 1 3 7
    Bishop, Houston’s Sunday Morning Word

Praise The Lord Everyone!!! Happy Sunday!!! ✝️❤️😊

I don’t watch many game shows on T. V. But there’s one that I like to watch from time to time. It’s called Let’s Make a Deal. I’m always interested to see the different costumes the contestants are wearing. The participants compete for the chance to choose a door that conceals a prize. Whoever wins, get a chance to decide to open door 1, 2, or 3. If they chose well, they could receive a dream vacation or a shiny new car. But if they make a bad choice, they could end up with a year’s supply of dog food or a broken-down boat. Most of the times the valuable prize they hoped for isn’t behind the door they’ve chosen.

During the early Christian days, Christians survived on specific hope in Christ Jesus. This really touched base with Peter, who was an admirer, supporter and close friend of Jesus. Beloved have you ever been dissociated by a family member(s) or someone that you felt was a close friend when certain situations occur or when they’re around pious – uppity people. Well, I have, and I’m still being ostracized by many especially by those that claim to be in the Christian faith – and to the bewilderment of many I’m not dead and I’m still pressing forward in the name of Jesus. ✝️❤️😊

In Mark 14:66–72 we find after realizing his fiasco by not sanding with Jesus, Peter shifted from the inner circle to the environs. That’s why three days later, the angel told the women at the empty tomb to go “tell his disciples AND Peter” that Jesus was alive (*1). I’m sure Peter was shocked when he heard that not only was Jesus alive, but He too was invited.

Now we can understand why Peter started his letter in 1 Peter 1:3 talking about his living hope in the living Jesus. For Peter, his life transformed that Sunday morning, and it has transformed for you and me, too. Peter desired the Christians in those days and us too, to understand we should praise the Lord because of Jesus’ authority over sin and death.

Beloved, 1 Peter 1:4 tells us that our inheritance in Christ Jesus is “kept in heaven,” and it’s so much more than a game show prize. You can now announce the confirmation that the only thing in the grave that was prepared for you is the neatly folded burial clothing that the despised, placed on you. Declare these words if you have victory this morning “The solemn that was planned for me has no entry point anymore!!! Jesus is my victory!!!”

Beloved, many of us have a reason to give God clear adoration for specific opportunities that have entered into our life. ✝️❤️😊

    Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for raising Jesus from among the dead. It’s through the death burial and resurrection that I live today. This morning I proclaim boldly and loudly JESUS IS MY VICTORY!!!

In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen and Amen. ✝️❤️

Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will enter our earthly room and blow out our candle. So, reach out and touch the ones that need your agape, dissolve the divisions among you, continue to encourage one another, be
united in the same mind, the same reasoning and continue to build one another up.

I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have a fantastic Sunday. ✝️❤️😊

  • “Subject to Modification”

11 12 2019 2019 “Don't stay put.pngBHMSS Biblical Passage for the day – 2 Corinthians 4:18 (AMP) – So we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are unseen; for the things which are visible are temporal [just brief and fleeting], but the things which are invisible are everlasting and imperishable.

Praise the Lord Beloved. Happy Tuesday to you. 😀

Beloved, don’t centralize your focus on what you can instinctively see and recognize in this world. Everything you see is temporal and subject to modification. Put your trust, belief, and confidence in the unseen eternal realm. The things which are eternal aren’t subject to transformation.

The Word of God is eternal, and it contains many pledges that cover any situation you’ll ever face. No matter what happens in this unstable, fluctuating world you live in, those pledges will forever be the same.

Regardless of how you’re feeling, the Word will always say, “By His stripes, you were healed” (*1). No matter how bad your bank account looks, the Word will always say, “My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus” (*2).

Don’t stay put or do things because the world says you have to or believe what the world says you can and cannot have. Lay hold of what the Word says you can do and can have. Center your devotion on the eternal truths of God and look not to the things which are seen. After all, they’re subject to modification!!! Amen? Aaamen. ✝️❤️😊

    Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for allowing us to see this new day. Help us keep our focus on You and Your unchanging hands. In Jesus’ mighty precious name, I pray, Amen and Aaamen.

Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly candle. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE TOO LATE. I LOVE YOU ALL!!!

    Have a terrific Tuesday everyone.

  • “Father Knows Best”

    10 7 2019 Matthew 6 26.png

Praise The Lord Beloved. Happy Monday. 😀

You know, our world has so many disruptions and disorders that can cause us to become apprehensive. This morning’s Bible verse tells us The Lord cares for the sparrows, but we’re worth more. We’re made in His image, and He has a confidential relationship with us. Matthew 10:30-31 says: “And even the hairs of your head are all counted. So, do not be afraid; you are of more value than many sparrows.” Beloved, your finances, your occupation, the institution or edifice you attend, and family are just a few of the things that can divert us and take a lot of our energy if we rely on our will instead of trusting in God’s will and plan. You see, what happens is we’ll become apprehensive and concerned, and before we even realize it, we’ve taken our visions back out of God’s hands because we think we can handle it better than Him.

Beloved, God understands you better than you understand yourself. He has the best plan and He knows the absolute best way to get you to where you need to be. Job 28:23 (NLT) says: “Only God understands the way to wisdom, and he alone knows where it lives…”
    Amen? Aaamen. 😀

    Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that we all continue to remember the things You have faithfully done for us. You’re virtuous, You’re always keeping an eye on us, our struggles, our encounters, and our disruptions and disorders. Help us to see and understand that the things in this world are provisional and to remember the promise of eternal life You have for us. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen and Aaamen.

Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE TOO LATE –

  • “Passing Judgement”

    8 30 2019 Bishop Houston's Weekend Words Romans 14 13
    Happy Friday Beloved!!!

Beloved have you ever been so upset “mad” that your blood pressure goes through the roof, so mad your hands literally starts shaking? Well, that was my situation yesterday. I was verbally attacked about something that was out of my control even though I made every attempt to temporarily resolve the issue until it could be properly repaired. Many times, people will not accept that they dropped the ball and accuse others for their lack of being responsible “dereliction of duty.” In my heart I’ve forgiven the person. That’s because I understand there are always going to be those moments in which we make some type of mistake and stumble as we live our lives. In many ways, this is the right assumption, but an important part of living is recognizing our mistakes. One of the biggest mistakes we can make is passing judgement on those around us without first getting the complete picture. We need to consider the other side of the story in order to make sound judgement. In the book of Romans, Paul challenges us to do just that. We all have those moments of weakness in our lives, but when we make the extra effort to embrace forgiveness over judgement, we overcome those faults and become better because of it.
Beloved, this weekend try to not pass judgement on anyone until you get the complete view from both sides.
Dear Heavenly Father, today I pray that you’ll help me to continue to embrace forgiveness over judgement. Help me to continue to be loving, understanding, and forgiving. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen and Aaamen.
Have a blessed Labor Day Weekend Everyone. 😀
  • “Overcoming Evil with Love and Exemplified Courtesy”

Monday 5 10 2019 Let Us Pray Overcoming Evil With Love and Exemplified CourtesyPraise the Lord Beloved!!! 😀 Happy Monday to you all. 😀

You know Beloved, the Holy Bible instructs us to love and exemplify courtesy toward our enemies. Matthew 5:44 (NLT) says: “But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you. The Word commands us (Matthew 5:39-41) to turn the left cheek when someone slaps our right one. We’re to give our shirt if anyone wants to sue us and also present them with our best clothing item. 1 Peter 3:9 and Romans 12:17 instructs us: “DON’T” repay abuse for abuse but repay it with a blessing”. Romans 12:20 says if your enemy is hungry, feed them and give them a drink when they’re thirsty.

I have a clergy associate who’s a very strong guy in the Word. He had several others under his spiritual covenant who were following the guidelines of his ministry and progressing rather well – all but one. This young man wanted to run the church “he wanted the church” so he inserted uneasiness and provoked scrupulous tactical maneuvers to clown the pastor. This was not a good look for the pastor, or his leadership role.

So, after a few months of this associate minister’s antics the pastor finally got fed up and called a meeting with a couple of powerful deacons and other associate ministers and reprimanded him. They got into a “VERY HEATED” argument and it almost came to blows. One day I rode with the pastor to go visit a friend in the hospital, on our way we saw him pulled over – he had a flat tire. The pastor and I looked at each other and he turned around and we went too his aide. Once we got there, we found out he didn’t have a spare tire. So, we took him and his tire to an automotive shop to get the tire repaired. He asked the clerk how much it would be to repair his tire. The clerk quoted him the price and he did not have the amount to pay the fee. Beloved, without soliciting the young man’s consent, the pastor paid the repairman directly the exact amount. That gesture repaired any tension or animosity between them and to this day, they’re good friends.

Undeniably, to overcome evil with the same is catastrophic, but overcoming evil with love and exemplified courtesy brings lasting peace and joy. Amen-Aaamen. 😀

Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them,
BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE – TOO LATE.

  • “We Are the Illuminated Structure”

Thursday 5 9 2019 Let Us Pray We Are the Illuminated Structure

Praise the Lord Beloved!!! Happy Tuesday. Hope you had a blessed Memorial Day.

You know, the apostle Paul was once known as a tormentor of the church. But, after his spiritual transformation he became one of the most loyal followers of Christ. I personally feel that his life should be observed as a great inspiration for every human being who has seriously sinned. It also proves that in life transformation is possible, even for the wickedest sinner. The mercy Paul received was a great demonstration of God’s love and patience He has for “all” His children. That means God’s not condemning us in our present condition. He encompasses us with His compassion and love and then call us back to His ways. If we respond to Him as Paul did, our lives will never be the same again.

Beloved, we’re chosen to be an example “lighthouse” to the people around us. Our life should be a blessing to those who need to come to believe in Jesus for eternal life. This is the most essential part in reaching out to the lost. When we proclaim and live the Gospel through our own life, we become the illuminated structure here on earth that points and leads people to Christ.
    Amen Aaamen. 😀

  • “If It Wasn’t for Noah”

    If It Wasn't For Noah

Beloved, one of the dirtiest, most detrimental lies that the devil ever told you was when he said, “You aren’t important.” Beloved, don’t you ever believe that!!! You’re important!!! Every born-again member who believes in Jesus Christ has a part to play in God’s plan. God has something for you to do that no one else can do just like you can. If you don’t take your place and do your part, things won’t be quite right. Now, I can just hear you thinking, “Bishop Houston, I’m just one person. What could I conceivably do that could be so noteworthy? “WELL I’M GLAD YOU ASKED? 😀

You’ll see the answer to that question in Genesis 6. There you’ll see that the people on the earth had gotten so evil and corrupt that God had regretted that He’d made them. He was ready to wipe the whole population out, “But He Didn’t”!!! Why? Because of one man: Noah!!! 😀 One obedient man saved the human race. Think about that. What if Noah had said, “Well, this is just too much pressure for me. I can’t live upright before God in the middle of this unreasonable generation. I mean, everyone around me is living the other way. Every man around me imagines only evil in his/her mind and emotions. I can’t make any difference in this dark world anyway. I’m just one man.”

Praise the Lord Noah didn’t say that!!! He didn’t picture himself as an unimportant man whose life didn’t matter. According to Hebrews, he saw himself as a man to whom God had spoken and by faith, he obeyed God. And because of that he ended up being the only thing that stood between mankind and total destruction.

Beloved, the next time you’re tempted to ignore the instructions of God and be disobedient, the next time you catch yourself thinking, it doesn’t matter what I do — just remember Noah. 😀 Consider the fact that, whether you understand it or not, God’s counting on you to carry out your part of His plan. Live like you’re someone important in the kingdom of God. And sooner or later you’ll realize, you are.
    Amen? – AAAmen… 😀

Let Us Pray: Dear Heavenly Father thank You for believing, trusting and having confidence in me when so many don’t or have doubts about who I am today. Thank You for trusting me with Your spiritual commands and blessing me with the required gifts to achieve my spiritual duty. I’ll continue to stay focus on You and be obedient to Your directives regardless if I understand them or not.
In Jesus’ Name I pray Amen and Amen.

I LOVE YOU ALL!!!  And Have a Blessed Sunday Everyone. 😀

  • “God Knows the Plans He has For You”

    Thursday 4 25 2019 Let Us Pray Bible Verse Proverbs 16 3
Praise the Lord Beloved. 😀 Happy Thursday.

You know Beloved, there are many people who say they trust believe, and have all confidence in God, and then turn right around and start executing their plans. We need to be about our Father’s business with “ALL” things and not just the ones we can’t handle. Trusting, Believing and having ALL CONFIDENCE means we are “NO DOUBTERS” when it comes to believing “GOD’S GOT THIS!!!” When we commit our life to the Lord, we somehow forget that it involves everything. What that means is we also have to commit our works to Him as well, and this morning’s Bible verse is a perfect reminder for us all.

There’s often a plan and a purpose behind our works. In order to ensure its fulfillment, let us commit them to the Lord. In fact, the greatest work ever done in the history was the sacrifice that the Lord Jesus did for all of us, and that was His crucifixion. It wasn’t an easy mission Jesus fulfilled. However, since behind that work was a plan to save us from our sins, Jesus freely took up His cross. We’re saved today because Jesus committed to doing the Will of God the Father. Whatever plans you have always seek God’s will and commit your works to the Lord so you’re productive.
    Amen? AAAmen. 😀

“Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will pass through our window and blow out our lights here on earth.
So today, reach out and tell those you love that you love them.
BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE, TOO LATE.”

    I LOVE YOU ALL!!!
Have a blessed Thursday Everyone. 😀
  • “Don’t Forget Your Heavenly Minutes”

    Tuesday 4 23 2019 Let Us Pray Bible Verse Luke 1 11
Praise the Lord Everyone. – Happy Tuesday to Everyone. 😀

You know, before the angel appeared to Zechariah, we’re told that he’s serving and doing what he’s called to do. Because of this, God arranged an event that presented an angel to Zechariah to deliver him news (read Luke 1 if you want to find out more. 😀 )

Thinking that God’s always arranging my life and moments to interact with me gives me hope and peace. Because Zechariah was serving and obeying the Lord, he was open to an opportunity to interact with God. Beloved sometimes, it’s difficult for me to try to find these moments or create an atmosphere where I can grasp one if it were to occur. If you look at our society’s schedule you’ll see everyone is busy or in a hurry. This tells us we don’t have time for prayer or quiet time. If we don’t have time for those things, how can we ever expect to hear God? How can we listen to Him if we don’t spend quality time with Him? It’s easy to tell Him things that need prayer, but we can’t forget about the listening side of prayer. 😀

    Amen? 😀 AAAmen. 😀

“Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will past through our window and blow out our lights here on earth.

So today, reach out and let those you love know that you love them.
BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE, TOO LATE.”

I LOVE YOU ALL!!! – Have a blessed Tuesday Everyone. 😀
