CHOF Ministry Expressions for Today 3 19 2019
Praise the Lord Beloved. Happy Tuesday to you.

Beloved, God’s wants us to return to Him. There’ll be times when we simply forget a few things He has offered us in life and embrace a world of physical things. So, to stay on track we must regularly fill our lives with God. We must not fill our lives with the things of the world. That’s because it’s so easy for us to get taken in by the worldly pleasures of materialization and forget to honor God with our lives.

If you’re wavering in your faith, now’s the time for you to return to Him and find your way back into His loving arms. As you make the effort to do that, God will bring you to a place in which you can see more of Him around you.

Beloved, physical things are great, but they can keep us from our loving Savior if we let them.

    Have a blessed Tuesday.

  • “Change Your Focus!!!”

CHOF Ministry Expressions for Today Bishop Houston 2 5 2019
Hebrews 12:3 – Consider [Jesus] that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

Beloved it’s time to really start focusing because you’re in a time your very life may depend on you seeing what’s going on around you.

Not long ago, the Lord showed me that a spirit of weariness is trying to work its way into our lives these days through all the pressure and bad news that surround us.
It’s working to get our eyes off the Word of God by bombarding us with negative forces. It’s trying to get us to focus on defeat instead of focusing on Jesus.

Beloved, if you continue to stop focusing on Jesus, your spirit man/woman will begin to lose his/her dominion. And the Word tells us what the results of that is. It says you’ll “be wearied and faint in your minds.”

Jesus put it this way in Mark 4. He said that when the cares of this world enter into your heart and mind, they’ll choke the Word and cause it to become unfruitful. And since your faith is the product of the Word, that means your faith will wither. Once that happens, OH BOY- LOOK OUT!!! You’re headed for disaster.

Now someone out there may be asking: Bishop Houston, “What can I do to stop this chain reaction of weariness?”

WELL I’M GLAD YOU ASKED!!! 😀

Change your focus!!! Get focused on Jesus. Get your eyes back on Jesus. I remember when I played sports (football, basketball, baseball) one of the things you learn is to keep your head up and your eyes on the player or the ball. As a running back when I saw a tackler lower his head to tackle me or an opponent trying to guard me take their eyes off me, – I got him!!! He’s no longer dangerous. He can now be very easily defeated. So, you need to stay focused.

Keep considering Jesus, the Author and Finisher of your faith. Consider Him instead of the cares of this world. Consider what God says in His Word. Be moved by the thoughts of God. Let His thoughts become your thoughts.

Beloved, change Your Focus!!! Get your eyes off the circumstances around you and onto your heavenly source. Don’t be afraid you’re going to lose everything. God is your source, He has all your resources, not the world. He can take care of you regardless of what happens around you.

If you’ve gotten tired lately, begin to change your focus. Keep your eyes on the prize. God is in front of you. The crazy things that are happening on your job, in your family, in a relationship is the Devil trying to get your attention. Don’t let it!!! Stay focused on Jesus.

Have a blessed Tuesday Everyone. 😀

    “CHOF Ministry’s Expression for Today”

    Proverbs 19:23 (AMP)

The fear of the Lord leads to life, o that one may sleep satisfied, untouched by evil.

    Praise the Lord Beloved!!! 😀

You know, one thing I’ve observed over the years is that so many people are walking around who aren’t really living to their full capacity the way God planed. Have you ever noticed that many people quit living around fifty, but they live to be eighty or more? Maybe they went through a disappointment or had some disappointments. Someone hurt them, and now they’ve lost their joy and now settle where they are. Well, if you’re in this position right now or you know someone that is, I want you to know, this isn’t what God desires for you or your life!!! God has another victory in store with you name all over it!!!! You wouldn’t be breathing unless God had something amazing in your future.

Beloved, it’s time to get your passion back and be determined to really live out your God-given days!!!

The scripture says that God wants to bring you to a copious finish, not a sluggish finish. Don’t let disappointment or unhappiness hold you back. God has promised that what was meant for your harm He’ll turn around and use for your good. Not only will He bring you out, but He’ll bring you out better off than you were before. I’m a living witness to this!!!

Beloved, today receive it by faith and press forward into a copious and rewarding life He has in store just for you!!! 😀

Have a blessed Tuesday Everyone. 😀
