  • “It’s Time to Mature!!!”

    1 Peter 2:2 (AMP)
    Like newborn babies you should crave (thirst for, earnestly desire) the pure (unadulterated) spiritual milk, that by it you may be nurtured and grow unto [completed] salvation.

    This morning I visited a daycare, and let me tell you, it takes a special person for that job. 😀

    The room was filled with babies. Infants crying. Baby’s crawling and screaming for certain toys. Toddlers pushing and whining to get their way. Lord, let me tell you, my nerves was shot when I left there.

    But after I left there the spirit of the Lord showed me something. Spiritual Babies. For the past several months once a week I’ve been meeting with 15 young men and women that attend Cleveland State University for lunch. All pretty much are spiritual babies. When we get together it’s just about the same way it was at that daycare. Everyone has a question, or wants attention, or want to share their experiences. Now, let me say right here, there’s nothing wrong with being a spiritual baby. All of us start out that way. When we’re first born into the kingdom of God, we’re much like physical newborns. We’re not very strong or well developed. We have slip ups while trying to learn how to operate in our new environment. That’s how we all have to begin. But God never meant for us to stay that way.
    That’s why in 1 Peter 2:2 He says we should ” crave (thirst for, earnestly desire) the pure (unadulterated) spiritual milk, that by it you may be nurtured and grow….”
    Beloved, God intends for us to be complete so we can become productive!!! He intends for us to feed on His Word, moving from the milk of the Word to the meat of the Word until we have totally matured into developed and established sons and daughters.
    Beloved, it’s time to change your diet, it’s time to find your nourishment in His Word and enjoy the reward of completely maturing in Him!!!

    You shall have no other gods before Me.

    Zodiac signs and horoscopes have been common in the social order for a long time. Some people live their life by them. People go around telling people what their horoscope says, they establish or don’t establish relationships based on zodiac compatibility, and they take it to be the gospel truth.
     
    Beloved as believers, we can’t fall into this trap. Just because the sign and our personality have a few things in common doesn’t mean we view it as law. Remember Pharaoh’s magicians? They had commonality with Moses’ signs but, God’s sign conquered. The truth about ourselves comes from the Word of God. God’s Word says we’re blessed, we’re victorious, and we prosper. We’re to be led by the Holy Spirit and not make decisions based on a zodiac sign. God should be our One and only.
     
    So, as believers, we must be very careful when we listen to opinions of another person, they could involve demonic forces instead of the Word of God.

    “You Can Change the Score Card of Life”

    CHOF Ministry Exprission for today pubPhilippians 3:13-14 (NLT) – (13) No, dear brothers and sisters, I have not achieved it, but I focus on this one thing: Forgetting the past and looking forward to what lies ahead, (14) I press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us.

     
    Many people aren’t living a championship life, not because there’s something wrong with them, but because they’ve been hooked on the wrong thoughts, opinions or ideas. They start believing the lies, “I’m not talented. I don’t look good enough. I’m not smart enough. I don’t have a good personality. I’ve made too many mistakes.” Our wrong thinking can keep us from our destiny.
     
    Beloved, if you’re going to live a championship life, you’ve got to know how to change the game of life around to remove the deficit that’s on your life’s score card.
     
    When that thought comes that says, “You’re just normal, you’re just an everyday person.” Change the game of life around, put your winning game face on – get into a winner’s mentality and say, “I’m a winner, I’m the MVP on my playing field of life.” When you hear, “You’re old and washed up. Time has passed you by. Change the game of life around to remove the deficit that’s on your life’s score card and say, “My impending days will be perkier and happier than my past.” Beloved, if you’ll remove your defeated attitude and remove those that are not trying to help you win, your life will go to a championship level, and you’ll experience the blessings God has stored up for champions.
     
    CHOF Ministry Prayer:
    Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me and making me in Your image. Today, I choose to change my life’s score card. I choose to remove any undesirable thoughts about myself, I choose to remove the people, places, and things that are disruptive to my championship mentality. I choose to declare what You say about me, so I can walk and live the championship life that You have prepared for me.
    In Jesus’ mighty name I pray, Amen and Amen.

    Beloved,
    when you look out into your future, what do you see? What are your visions and desires that you hold close to your heart? So many people start with big visions, but then opposition comes. Life doesn’t turn out the way they planned. They lose a loved one or encounter difficulty they didn’t anticipate.

    Today, if that’s you, I want to remind you that it’s Ok to have big visions. The Creator of the universe designed you with specific gifts and talents that no one else has. He has you on this planet for a specific purpose. When you commit your life to Him, He promises to be with you wherever you go. Even though some things in life may have caught you by surprise, they didn’t catch God by surprise. His good plan for your life remains. You can trust Him because He loves you with an everlasting love, and He doesn’t want to see you settling for anything less than His very best.

    Beloved,
    today I want to encourage you to let go of what no longer has a purpose in your life,
    let go of what has been holding you back or holding you down.
    Let go of what has been keeping you from having big Visions.
    Put aside the past and lift up your eyes to Jesus.

    Beloved,
    it’s OK to think big and have big visions. Be audacious, be resilient and be determined.
    God’s the Author and Finisher of your faith.
    Live confident and have a big vision so you can embrace the good things He has in store for you!!!

    Beloved,
    learning to walk in the destiny God has for you is a process. The first step is to get a vision,
    a clear picture from God that you can see.
    The next step is to have faith (trust, believe and have confidence) in Him.
    You have to believe it will happen. And then finally, you must have confidence in your steps and live out what God has promised no matter what your circumstances or people around you have to say.

    First you envision it, than you have faith in it, and then you live it.
    Every vision I’ve ever received from God has followed this same pattern.
    We see in scripture that even the great men and women of the Bible walked through this process.
    They had to overcome doubts, they struggled on their journey, but they held fast to what God said knowing that He’s faithful to complete what He started in us!!!

    So today Beloved,
    if you’re having a hard time believing what God has promised will come to pass, understand that you’re in a process.
    Don’t empower doubt with your words. Instead, keep declaring that He who promised is faithful!!!
    Keep the vision in front of you knowing that it’s for an appointed time.
    Envision it and have faith (belief, trust and confidence) in it because it won’t be long until you’re living the blessed life God has prepared for you!!!

    Be blessed in the Lord.

    Beloved,
    are you living the lavish life Jesus came to give?
    Now I’m not talking about living in the most elaborate house or driving the latest car.
    No, His promise of profuse living goes way beyond material things that this world offers.
    I’m, speaking of an “Abundant” life.
    An abundant life means “life to the fullest.”
    That means no matter what is going on around you,      you can partake of the full blessings of God. You can have peace in the midst of a storm. You can have joy when things are uncertain. You can have hope when circumstances seem hopeless.

    Beloved,
    as believers, a lot of times it’s easy to look at others living a life of good and plentiful and think, “God is going to give me abundant life someday.”
    But the truth is that God wants you to have a profuse life TODAY!!! So don’t waste another second living in mediocrity or settling for less than God’s best.
    Receive His blessings by faith today.
    Receive His hope, joy, strength and favor.
    So “RIGHT NOW,” I want you to declare that you are living a full life!!!
    DECLARE IT AND CLAIM IT!!!

    Jesus came so that you may live life to the fullest. 😀

    Beloved,
    have you ever seen a palm tree in the middle of a big storm? That tree may be bent so far over that it’s almost touching the ground, but when the wind finally stops, that palm tree bounces right back up. What’s interesting is that while that palm tree is hunched over under the pressure of the storm,
    it’s actually growing stronger?
    The reason God said we’d flourish like a palm tree is because He knew there would be difficult times. He knew things would come against us to try to steal our joy and victory. God said, “You’re going to be like a palm tree because when the storms of life blow, you are going to come right back up stronger than before.”
    Nothing can keep you down!!!
    No weapon formed against you will prosper.

    Beloved,
    as you reflect on the events that has happen to you this year, remember, the storms you have encountered have only made you stronger.
    You’re wiser, you’re more alive, and you’re headed for victory. You’re brightest days are right out in front of you!!! Always remember that with God on your side, nothing can keep you down!!!

    Praise the Lord Beloved!!!

    Beloved, when you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior, not only is your eternity secure, but you become a child of the Most High God. You instantly have an Everlasting Father!!!
    Now think about that word everlasting. It means that before the beginning of time,
    the Father was there. He was waiting for you to accept Him and become a child of His.

    I can only imagine that He was excited and expecting that day just like a father would expect the birth of his child in the natural. I can imagine that each day God would think, “Is it today?” I don’t know what your experience has been with your earthly father, but God is a good and perfect Father.
    He loves you with an everlasting love. He loves everything about you so much that He notices when a single hair falls from your head. He accepts you just the way you are, and He loves you enough to guide you and work His character in you. And, He will be your Father from now until eternity!!!
    He will never leave you nor forsake you!!!

    So today,
    thank Him for being your Everlasting Father.

    Praise The Lord Beloved!!!

    Beloved,
    have you ever felt overwhelmed or even troubled of what God has called you to do?
    Maybe you were pursuing a dream or goal and things didn’t turn out the way you planned.
    Joseph had planned to take Mary as his wife, but when he found out she was pregnant,
    he didn’t know what to think. He was afraid that he might be making a mistake because things
    didn’t turn out the way he planned. But, God sent a messenger in a dream to reassure Joseph
    that he was on the right path.

    Today Beloved,
    let me reassure you that God knows right where you are, and He knows how to get you to where you need to be. Even when things don’t go the way you planned, His hand is on you. Do not be troubled, trust that God is working behind the scenes on your behalf and that He will lead you into the life of blessing that He has prepared just for you.
