  • “Intestinal Fortitude”

Wednesday 4 17 2019 Let Us Pray Bible Verse Intestinal Fortitude James 1 1 3
Praise the Lord Beloved, Happy Wednesday to Everyone. 😀

You know when I think of the word intestinal fortitude, I think of getting through something tough – unpleasant. The kind of intestinal fortitude the Lord wants is when we trust Him with a joyful heart (mind and emotions). We know that He’s faithful always, without fail. We need to wait eagerly as though we already know His promises have come true. Now, that doesn’t mean that storms in this life won’t come. There’s a reason for every event in your life. He gave you certain aptitudes, benefits, and character traits to prepare you to do what He has called you to do. When you start looking at life through the lens of carrying out the specific purpose that the Lord assigned to you, life becomes a lot less complicated and a lot clearer. You’ll stop drifting on the waves of doubt, “uncertainty” and instead stay anchored in assurance. Storms are a certainty in this life. Sheltered under His mighty wings, we wait for the storm to come and go. We stay joyful, optimistic, encouraged inspired, relentless. We don’t change just because our circumstances do or what people tell us to do. Our God doesn’t change, so we’re to stay steadfast too.

    Amen? – AAAmen!!! 😀

“Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will past through our window and blow out our lights here on earth.

So today, reach out and let those you love know that you love them.
BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE, TOO LATE.”

    I LOVE YOU ALL!!!
Have a blessed Wednesday Everyone. 😀
  • “Constant Contact with God”

Bishop Sunday Morning Fortifide Stand Picture
Our Sunday Morning Focal Verse is: Psalm 1:1-2 (AMP)
*1 Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked [following their advice and example], Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit [down to rest] in the seat of scoffers (ridiculers). *2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And on His law [His precepts and teachings] he [habitually] meditates day and night.

Beloved, it’s very important as a Believer we always stay in constant contact with God not just today but daily.
As Supporters or Advocates of Christ Jesus it’s equally as important to stay tuned to His voice. You may have a plan for today, but God may lead you in a totally different direction if you’re allowing the Holy Spirit to penetrate your mind and emotions. Also be brave enough to flow with what “you” feel in “your” heart (mind and emotions) that God wants “you” to do.
Beloved today’s going to be a great Sunday. Listen for the voice of God to lead you. Be strong minded to walk in the Spirit and stay in the movement of God’s direction for you today.
“To God Be the Glory. Have a blessed Sunday Everyone” 😀
  • The Word of God – Living and Active”

Bishop Houston Mid Week The Word of God Living and Active
    Hebrews 4:12 (AMP)
*12 For the word of God is living and active and full of power [making it operative, energizing, and effective]. It is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating as far as the division of the soul and spirit [the completeness of a person], and of both joints and marrow [the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and judging the very thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Beloved, you’ll never regret the time you spend reading God’s Word. It’s full of optimism that encourages our hurting soul. Just as when the disciples began to feel sad because Jesus told them that He would be away from them in a little while. He was speaking about going back to the Father after His mission. He spoke encouraging words to them to lift their discouraged faces.

Beloved, God doesn’t want to see us dispirited. There are many times we’ll get so preoccupied by the things of this world and when we fail to achieve something, we somehow get upset. Our hearts (mind and emotions) become disturbed. Remember whatever it may be that weighs you down, believe in God. Remember, He has solutions in store for you. Don’t let anything or anybody trouble your hearts, keep the faith in Christ and He’ll take care of your problems.

  • “Are You Open?”

    Weekend Words Are You Open
Praise the Lord Beloved!!! Happy Friday to you all. 😀

Beloved, have you ever tried reading the Holy Bible and noticed the verses don’t make sense? I’m speaking of the times when you read it and received very little understanding? Let me tell you, I have. 😀 And if you have don’t feel bad because we’re not alone. This same issue goes all the way back to when Jesus rose from the grave. He taught His disciples about it with references to the Holy Scriptures but evidently, most of them didn’t believe or understand. That’s because when it happened, they thought Jesus was a ghost and were afraid and startled. Beloved, when we’re unable to comprehend, probably the best thing to do is simply ask God to open our mind. Now this might sound very simple, but this is true. Humbly ask and let your request be known to Him. But you must first clear your thoughts and second get rid of all the detestation, artificiality, and maliciousness. There’s no way to fully receive anything “especially from God” if our mind is already full of something else. There’s no way, God’s instructions can be carried out if your mind and emotions are filled with other things. Luke 24:45 says: “Then He opened their minds to understand the scriptures.”

So, as you head into the weekend, I want you to remember 2 things: #1. the benefits of being able to understand Scripture you have to have a cleared schedule and somewhere for God to sit when He enters to talk with you. #2. Once you’re inspired by God, what He reveals to you is useful for teaching, correcting, and training others for righteousness.

I love you all!!! And have a blessed Weekend Everyone. 😀
