Do I really have to forgive others?

    The answer is YES!!!

Having to forgive others for bringing harm or hurt to you, can be one of the hardest things in life for you to do.

It is not easy to detach yourself from your feelings and emotions when others have done something to wrong or hurt you.

When trying to get pass those feelings of betrayal, we can’t allow our emotions to get the best of us and force us to retaliate against those who have wronged or hurt us.

***It is during those times of hurt, betrayal and anger that we must exercise forgiveness.

This is the time when we have to rely on the power of forgiveness.

It is through the act of forgiving others; that we as true Christians will be forgiven by God for the sins that we have committed.

This is shown in Matthew 6:15 (AMP) But if you do not forgive others [nurturing your hurt and anger with the result that it interferes with your relationship with God], then your Father will not forgive your trespasses.].

So in essence, in order to be forgiven by God for our sins, we must remember that we have to make sure that as true Christians; we have let go of: hate, resentment, hurt and anger toward those who have wronged us, and forgive them for any of the things that they have done against us or to us.

    God Bless you all,

Enjoy the rest of your week!

“Is it ok to engage in sexual activity if you are not married?”

    The answer is NO!!!!!

Engaging in sexual activity outside of a marriage is known as fornication
The Bible refers to fornication as followed:

    1. Fornications
    2. Sexual immorality
    3. Immorality
    4. Whoredom
    5. Sexual vice
    6. Unchastity
    7. Sexual sins

So what does the bible tell us about fornication? It tells us in:

    1 Corinthians 6:18 (KJV)

Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body, but he that committeth fornication, sinneth against his own body.

1 Corinthians 6:18 (The Holman Bible)

Flee from sexual immorality! “Every sin a person can commit is outside the body; but the person who is sexually immoral, sins against his own body.

So in essence it is not ok to engage in sexual activity if you are not married. The Bible verses above interpret your sexual immoral actions as sins that are committed against your own body. So don’t fool yourself, this sin is personal. You are depreciating or belittling your own body.
Your body is sacred. It does not belong to you. Your body serves as a resting place for the Holy Spirit who dwells inside of you.

    1 Corinthians 6:19 (NIV)

    Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;

Sexual activity was designed to be shared between a husband and his wife. It was not designed to be a casual and consensual activity shared between two unmarried people. It was designed to be a special bond for a husband and his wife to share together once they have tied the knot and committed their lives to each other.

    Have a blessed day!
