“Defeating An Uncircumcised Giant”

Praise The Lord Everyone!!! ✝️❤️😊Beloved, today we’re facing a giant and its army just as Saul and the Israelites prepared to battle Goliath and the Philistines. COVID-19 virus the giant- job loss, illnesses, financial security, and other problems are the Philistine army. Beloved, don’t let this giant intimidate you. You have a confidential warhead. A defense that once transformed a shepherd boy into a bear-smashing, lion-killing, giant-slaying champ. That defense was a blood covenant with Almighty God.Back in the day David lived, circumcision was insignia of that promise. So, when David labeled Goliath uncircumcised David was saying: “This dude may be huge; he may have lots of muscles and look powerful, but he has no covenant with God, and that’s why I’ll defeat him.”Beloved, just like David, you, too, have a covenant. But yours is more excellent and has superior quality. You see, the promise David had, presented a wide variety of blessings to those who kept it, but it also incorporated misfortunes for those who broke it. Yours doesn’t. Yours is a new covenant that Jesus accepted with His blood. Beloved, it doesn’t depend on your ability what status or position you have or how many supporters or admirers you have. It’s all about Him and what He has previously done on our behalf. He has completed everything!!! Now your only job is to have confidence and accept it. When you have a chance, read Deuteronomy 28:16-68. It gives a list of the problems and adversities Christ has freed you. I call it my “Jesus Giant Slaying List.” It’s a list of the giants Jesus has already slain for me, and when you read it, you can call it what you want as you see the giant(s) he has slain for you. You’ll find it encompasses every diabolical thing the devil could ever use to ruin “obliterate” you. Read them and celebrate. You’ll see the things God has rehabilitated you from and transported you to!!! Don’t allow the giants you face terrorize you. You have a blood agreement with an Enormous Divine God. There’s no uncircumcised situation on the face of this earth that can take your success away from you. Amen? Aaamen. ✝️❤️😊Let Us Pray:Dear Heavenly Father, we are thankful for Your security. Today we’re facing a real giant “Coronavirus, COVID-19 and its army. We know that you have precision when it comes to defeating what’s threatening us. We’re obedient to Your directives, and we believe that our victory is just a stone throw away.In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen and Aaamen. ✝️❤️I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have a Magnificent Monday and Prudent and Sensible Week, Everyone. ✝️❤️😊CHOF Ministry Bible References: N/A -
“Giving The Streets Something To Talk About”

Praise The Lord Everyone!!! Happy Monday to you!!! ✝️❤️😊Beloved the streets talk!!!Have you ever been a part of the conversation when the streets were talking? How about when the roads were talking, and you were the centerpiece of the discourse? I have, and I have no doubt, I’m still the featured figure spoken negatively about by many today. Before I returned to my life’s spiritual foundation, I would battle the streets for my reputation. One day while reading and researching the Word of God, I received a revelation. The revelation stung me hard. It showed me the culprit of my battles. What I didn’t take time to realize during my worldly experiences is the majority of my actions came from battling with the unseen. You see, when the streets get to talking, finding the person that initiated the initial negative dialog is about as challenging as the DEA trying to find a drug kingpin. One other thing I came to realize, people on the streets love to gather to see a fight or conflict. Many of them that attend the battle are the ones that (will) set you up, (will) introduce fabricated lies and deception, or (will) back-stab you to see the confrontation. I thank God for His “AMAZING GRACE!!! Today have a changed attitude. I use the negative atmosphere of street talk for my motivation to get closer to God – I get joy studying the Word of God more in-depth and broader to increase my spiritual range. I have always been doubted by family members, relatives, and those I thought were close friends. In this morning’s passage, David’s eldest brother, Eliab, threw some cruel words at him in front of the other Israelite soldiers. How embarrassing it must have been to endure his brother discrediting him. David wisely neutralized the situation. I would have loved to see what Eliab’s expression looked like when they saw David slaying Goliath!!!
Beloved, there are many of you like David and myself that have felt the pain of mockery, rejection, doubt, and discredit from the people we thought would encourage and motivate us. If you’re in a parallel situation like David, don’t retaliate. Getting revenge isn’t the solution. Be wise and diffuse the situation. Use their mockery, rejection, doubt, and discredit as fuel to succeed even more!!! Go out there and slew your Goliath (alcoholism, drugs, being abusive, cheating, stealing, lying, manipulating, etc.!!! Now you’ve given the streets something to say. Amen? Aaamen.✝️❤️😊Let Us Pray:Dear Heavenly Father, this morning, I come to You asking You to bless us with tolerance and humility when people doubt us and our abilities. Please help us stay peaceful in the face of mockery and give us the wisdom to diffuse the situation consciously. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen and Aaamen. ✝️❤️I Love you all!!! Have a Blessed Monday and safe week Everyone. ✝️❤️😊CHOF Ministry Bible References:N/A -
“Concentrating On The Bigger Picture”

You know, Beloved, I’ve found that many of the encounters and disputes we face are diversions from the adversary to prevent us from following our objective. Maybe someone in the department or agency you work in or for isn’t as welcoming or pleasant to you as you’d like. Perhaps you have a neighbor who always parks in front of your house and blocks your mailbox or hangs out outside your cubicle to hold their random conversations with other fellow employees. Those things may be irritating, but they have little importance when you look at it from the broader perspective – “eternity.” Beloved, you can’t permit the small issues to trigger discord in your life.David and Goliath is an excellent illustration. Just before David battled the giant Goliath, his brother Eliab tried to confront him. But David knew that squabbling with Eliab was senseless, and it didn’t merit his time or energy. He understood his actual confrontation was with Goliath, and he didn’t want to be distracted. He turned away from Eliab and kept his concentration on what he was informed to do.
Beloved, as we end this week and head into the weekend. Let’s follow the illustration set by David and stay focused on what’s more extremely vital in life. Instead of being escorted away by annoyances, let’s keep our eyes on the bigger picture. Amen? Aaamen. ✝️❤️😊
I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have an enjoyable Friday and a wonderful weekend, everyone.

“Evil People – The Foolish, The Immature, and The Unintelligent”

Praise The Lord Beloved. Happy Monday to everyone. 😊Beloved, have you ever thought about what God thinks of people who purposely do evil things? Part of me always felt He was a little slow to respond, just kind of passively did away with them, and that they aren’t a major issue because He’s more powerful than they are. Then I read Psalm 59, and BAM!!! It showed me that God is unquestionably the opposite of slow to respond “passive” when it comes to people who purposely do evil things. Verses 7-9 tell us the people that purposely do evil things don’t care what they say because they think no one will see, or hear them, or no one can control them–how reckless!!! David, the author of Psalms tells us that God laughs at them. Psalm 58:8 (NCV) says “Let them be like snails that melt as they move. Let them be like a child born dead who never saw the sun.”
Beloved, the people who purposely do evil things may be tricky, sneaky, and out of control/foolish and immature, but our Lord is much bigger. Psalm 59:10-13 tells us how God is our strength, fortress, protector, and he laughs at the foolish, immature and unintelligence of those who purposely do evil things. Amen? Aaamen. ✝️❤️😊
Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that You help us stay focused on You when we go through the attacks of the enemy in our lives. Give us the poise to pray for our enemies, know that You’re always with us, and we ask You to fight these battles for us. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen and Amen. ✝️Beloved life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind may enter our earthly room and blow out our candle. So today, reach out and touch someone you love and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE – TOO LATE. I LOVE YOU ALL!!! – Have a GREAT Monday and a wonderful week everyone.

“I’m Not Worthy”

Praise The Lord Beloved. Happy Monday to You all.
Beloved, back in the ancient days, King David’s sovereignty was the high point of Jewish history because rulers or anyone with powerful authority were well-off – affluent, they were militarily secure and devoted to a one true God. But there was one exception–David. David’s path to the throne was tough!!! It was very dangerous. He was always on the run. For over ten years, he hid from a king fixated on killing him. Despite enduring all the hurt, despondencies, successes, recognition, authority, and splendor, David continued to pursue and reverence the Lord passionately. While in the eyes of God, he persistently stayed modest and self-effacing. Beloved, has there ever been a time in your life that you’ve ever asked “Who am I Lord – why me? I’m not worthy!!! Who am I God that You care so much for me?” When you’re blessed and achieving success in different areas of your life, do you feel thankful and humbled? Or do you get the “BIG-HEAD” and you get that all prideful feeling?
Beloved, David’s life was filled with difficulties, he also committed serious mistakes that hurt many, many people and he also negatively changed thousands of lives – but David will always be known as a man who was after God’s heart. Let us emulate his attitude towards the Lord. We may stumble now and then, but God’s faithfulness never fails. Amen? Aaamen. ✝️❤️😊
Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for all the blessings and help You have given me in my life. I’m humbled by Your persistent, untiring love and keeping real. Please continue to help me in all the ways You know I need. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind may enter our earthly room and blow out our candle. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE – TOO LATE. I LOVE YOU ALL!!! – Have a blessed Monday and an “AWESOME” week everyone.

“There’s New Hope Each Morning”

Praise the Lord Beloved!!! Happy Tuesday to you.
In the Bible, you’ll find David was termed a man after God’s own heart. He knew God and saw remarkable phenomena throughout his life. But I want you to notice what David did in this morning’s verse. David set the stage for his entire day by spending time with the Lord “during the morning”. It didn’t matter what was going on in his life, David had his priorities set. Even though he was mistreated by his family, manipulated, neglected, made fun of, hunted down by King Saul, and even made some major mistakes on his own, David realized that there’s a promise for new hope each morning.
Beloved, just like David, if you’ll make spending time with God a priority, you’ll see Him move tremendously on your behalf. Make it a routine to seek Him first every single day no matter what’s happening in your life. Set the stage for your day and set your path for victory!!! Amen? 😀 Aaamen. 😀
Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE TOO LATE.
I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have a Great Tuesday.

“Are You Really Connected?”
Praise the Lord Beloved – Happy Friday to Everyone!!! 😀
What a joy and honor to start the day with you.**I have changed the title of the “Weekend Word” to “Grow in Christ Jesus” **
My focus is to present a more spiritual comprehensive concept that will produce a vivid spiritual thought going into the weekend. You know Beloved, everyone has their way to serve God. *BUT ARE YOU REALLY CONNECTED – HOW’S YOUR TRUE RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD? * Is He just a temporary generator in your life or a place holder? Is He there until something else you feel requires more attention – you remove the connection with God and plug into what you sense is more valuable to focus on.
Beloved, nothing and no one cares more about you than God!!! Staying connected to Him should be as important to you as paying your utilities bills. Just as you need electric to energize your home you need God (The Word – Jesus Christ) to keep your life energized proficiently and properly. Now, I know there are many of you that have stored up lots of intellectual information about the Bible, and that’s important, but that’s not the main issue. And I’m sure there are many of you saying: “Bishop Houston, I serve the Lord”. That’s also necessary. There are many of you that give generously to the spiritual edifice of your choice, and that too is another significant of Christian life. But, what matters is the depth of your “PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP” with the Lord. Beloved, let me tell you, KNOWLEDGE, SERVICE, AND TITHING, can never replace the intimacy with God.
You know, the psalmist King understood this truth, and it strengthen him in times of trouble. You see when his son Absalom tried to take over the throne, David ran to the wilderness, where he wrote the words in Psalm 3, 6, – “(3) But You O Lord are a shield around me… (6) I am not afraid of ten thousand enemies (people) who surround (are against) me on every side”. Beloved, He knew that even during strong adversity he could count on God’s unfailing love and protection.
Beloved, you’ll see repeatedly throughout David’s psalm his unwavering dependence on the Lord. IT WAS HIS PASSION!!! – not his physical strength, charisma (magnetic personality or charm), or his ability to command an army (pastor a church/ministry large or small) that made him a great man. And let me add this also, even though he had MANY, MANY failures in life, but, we find in the Bible (1 Samuel 13:14, Acts 13:22) describe him as “a man after God’s own heart”. Beloved, don’t let the people of world convince you that you’re worthless an outcast, or you’ll never be a productive citizen because you’ve been to jail, prison, was on drugs, was involved in prostitution or have committed a crime of some kind that you’re a bad/corrupt person and you cannot connect to God or have a personal relationship with God. That’s a lie from the bottomless pits of hell!!!
Beloved, staying connect and having a real relationship with God requires more than being a goodie to shoe, volunteering your services, giving money to kingdom work. God wants to know you personally. Now, don’t get me wrong here, the tangible expressions of your devotions are important. BUT, they should be the result of a mature relationship secured by a proper connection with God.
Beloved, this weekend secure you connection with God. Seek Him first, and believe me, the rest will follow. 😀
Have a blessed Weekend Everyone. 😀
