  • “Follow The Directions”

    2 7 2020 Bishop Houston's Weekend Words Psalm 119 1
Beloved, following directions, is very important. When you get a new kitchen appliance, a new software, or a new car, it makes sense to follow the manufacturer’s directions. They tell you what you need to know about using their product. When we don’t follow directions, we’ll find ourselves facing obstacles or a crisis. Challenges that may not have occurred if we would’ve followed directions.
We can parallel this with the Word of God. We need to follow our Creator’s instructions. They’re essential for living life full circle, as God planned for us. In Psalm 119 it begins by pointing out that people who follow God’s way are blessed and blameless. But to really understand Psalm 119 I want to make a couple of things a little clearer.

*First, in giving his Word, God informs us, “This is how I created you to live. When you live according to my instructions, you will be blessed.” Now, this doesn’t mean everything will be uncomplicated or effortless, but no matter what the circumstances are —uncomplicated or complicated—your life with God and others will prosper because your objective is to respect and comply with God.

*Second, we must place our focus on the significance of blameless. Blameless doesn’t mean “flawless.” Romans 3:23 tells us everyone sins. Everyone falls short of God’s virtue and flawlessness. But all who are liberated by Christ, the Savior, are proclaimed in right standings (in the proper position) by God.

Beloved, when we place our confidence, in Christ as our Savior, there should be a deep yearning within us that directs us to initiate a replica of Him, in order to live God’s way. In Matthew 5:6 Jesus says, “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.”

Beloved, as we end this week and head into the weekend if you find yourself with an unsatisfied appetite for rectitude read directions to God’s banquet hall.  It’s open and God’s waiting at the table for you with an overflowing buffet of His goodness. Amen? Aaamen. ✝️❤️😊

I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have a satisfying Friday and a terrific weekend everyone. ✝️❤️😊

  • “God’s Temperament in You”

Bishop Houston's Full Purple Shirt God’s Temperament in You
Beloved isn’t it electrifying to comprehend that you can hold the views and state of mind and the resolutions of God’s very own temperament in your heart? Isn’t it exciting to know the Creator of heaven and earth wants to be one spirit with you and communicate His feelings to your mind?

1st Corinthians 6:17 (*1.) says that when you were joined to the Lord you became one spirit with Him. He came into union with you so that He can talk to you “temperament to temperament”.

Beloved, God wants you to be synchronized with Him so that His views can become your activities. He wants you to walk so closely with Him that your power is never deficient when it comes to making the evil of this world speechless. He wants you to be so in tune with His Spirit that you’re able to feel His heart of compassion toward those around you who are hurting or bowed down with sickness and pain. And He also wants you to be strong in spirit when those that cast their unidentified “faceless” stones of ignorance and self-resolve your way. He wants to be one with you, so He can reach out through your hands and fulfill His purposes in the earth.

Beloved, it’s time to make a fresh commitment this Sunday to walk in union with your God. Give your attention to His Spirit in your inner man/woman. It’s time to make the decision to stop listening to what, who or how you’re getting your information – stop listening to the voices of the world or the flesh!!! If it’s not from God or a reliable godly resource, then sever the source. It’s time to start listing to His voice and allow the mind of Christ to flow through you!!!

    Sunday’s Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father Thank You for Your unconditional love.
Thank You for allowing us to receive Your temperament. It is an honor to walk and speak in the ways You desire us to. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen and Aaamen. 😀

Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE – TOO LATE.

I LOVE YOU ALL!!! – Have an Astonishing Sunday Everyone.

  • “Blessed and Loved”

    Tuesday 6 25 2019 Let Us Pray psalm 31 7 thru 8
Praise the Lord Beloved!!! 😀 Happy Tuesday.

You know Beloved, one of the most awesome things about following Christ is distinguishing and understanding that the Creator of the whole universe loves me and that His love is resilient. The proof of this is in Jesus, who gave up all the riches in Heaven and became poor, so through His deficiency, I might become rich. (*1)

But now the question is how far does that resilient love go? Well, the truth is God’s love for us isn’t provisional. God recognizes the condition of our heart. No matter how badly we don’t want to be evil, it’s in our very nature, and He still loves us. He gave His only Son so that you and I can obtain and live in relationship with Him. No matter how enormous the sins in our lives are, God’s love and grace exceeds them. Beloved this morning I want you to stay inspired and know you’re blessed and loved by Him. Amen? – Aaamen. 😀
