  • Steering Clear of the Snares of Slander

Good morning, cherished family in Christ! Let’s welcome this beautiful day with hearts ready to receive and share God’s boundless love and grace. 🌞

    Scriptural Insight – (Proverbs 16:28, CSB) 📖
“A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends.”

C H O F Ministry’s Synopsis: This verse warns against the destructive power of perverse speech, emphasizing how gossip and slander can sever even the strongest of friendships. 💔

    🗣️Bishop Houston’s Contemplation:
Slander, by its very nature, is a corrosive element in our social and spiritual lives. It not only damages the reputation of others but also serves as a potent tool for the enemy to sow discord among the faithful. 🌪️ By engaging in or even tolerating slander, we inadvertently participate in the enemy’s plans to divide us from within. The Bible calls us to a higher standard of interaction, one that nurtures unity, trust, and mutual respect (Ephesians 4:29). Let’s endeavor to use our words as instruments of healing and reconciliation, consciously avoiding any form of communication that could harm our brothers and sisters in Christ. By doing so, we not only obey God’s command but also strengthen the bonds within our community. 🌱

“Let Us Go into The Throne Room of Grace and Mercy:” 🙏🏾

Merciful God, we seek Your guidance and wisdom to steer clear of the temptations of slander. Help us to understand the weight of our words and the impact they can have on the lives around us. Instill in us a spirit of kindness and compassion, ensuring that our communications are always rooted in love and truth. May we be vigilant in safeguarding the unity and peace of our community, reflecting Your love in all our interactions. To God Be the Glory! 🙌 .

    Have a Blessed Thursday Everyone. ✝️🕊️ 💙😊
