“Do I Need To Go To Bible School To Preach?”

Bishop, Houston, I see many people men and women on the internet preaching, opening their church or ministry. I want to share the word of God, but some tell me I need to go to a bible college. Do I have to go to bible school to preach or teach Godâs word?An excellent question. Thank you for asking. âď¸â¤ď¸đÂAnswer:Because of the cost to go to a Bible College or a Seminary, many have found social media sites are a free open source to share their religious and spiritual concepts. Now I think two essential questions anyone wanting to be a preacher or even go into ministry should be âwhat is my spiritual gift?â and âAm I doing this for self-promotion (look good)?âÂI Corinthians Chapter 12 is a great chapter to read. It highlights the spiritual gifts. In this chapter, youâll see that all of the Trinity is connected to the existence, wellbeing, and development of the church, and this is especially evident in the matter of spiritual gifts. Youâll also see in 1 Corinthians 12: 7 and verse 18, the Holy Spirit provides every believer one or more spiritual gifts. Then itâs the Word of God that will direct the believer towards where and how their spiritual gift activates the development and wellbeing of the church. Itâs God the Father who regulates the degree of influence (success) that this gift and ministry will have.ÂNow to answer your question, No. And Yes if youâre going to be launched by a religious or spiritual edifice: religious or spiritual exchange, denomination, or tradition. Iâve watched, heard, and set up under great pastors that have never had any form of Biblical schooling, and they can bring down the house when they preach. But to get a detailed theological understanding a Bible-based seminary or Bible school is applicable. Some churches and ministries promote and launch from within after taking their concise training. If you decide that you want to allow your church or ministry to ordain, be sure that church or ministry is one that will do their best to help you discover and develop your spiritual gifts.ÂNow be very careful when it comes to churches and ministries that have ministers and preachers that think they own the church or ministry and will not correctly equip you for various reasons such as theyâre afraid youâll supersede them or youâre not in a particular financial grouping or your family affiliation is sub-par for the edifice. Set up under someone that will minister to others as he or she equips you for ministry.ÂProbing for Spiritual Answers Cross-Reference VersesN/A -
“Probing For Spiritual Answers”
Praise The Lord Beloved!!! âď¸â¤ď¸đÂThis morningâs question was:Bishop Houston when I was at home, my parents made us go to church. In my twenties, I slowed down, attending church. Iâm in my mid-thirties married with children, and I want to go to church more consistently, but my spouse wonât let me go. Can you give me some advice?ÂThank you for your question. And sure, Iâll assist you with some suggestions. đAnswer:First, let me say, your aspiration to be a committed member of a local church is excellent. Itâs a part of our new-found spiritual life in Christ that gives us the yearning to serve the Lord.ÂBut complications can occur in a home where one spouse chooses to serve God enthusiastically, and the other doesnât. Itâs always complicated when thereâs no agreement on an issue of significance to one spouse or the other. The impulse may be to give up and quit.ÂBut quitting isnât the answer. Thatâs just what Satan wants. He realizes your family could become one of his harshest adversaries, and heâll try to demolish it rather than let that transpire. Contemplating separation, divorce, or abandoning your family in any way isnât a choice for the believer who chooses to do Godâs will. So, donât battle with your spouse. Battle your real enemy. Begin envisioning your family working for the Lord together in a powerful way and stand on the verse I use for my house – Joshua 24:15, âBut as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.âÂNow, that doesnât mean for you to lay down the old holier than thou or religious attitude. Just communicate it. In other words, show it. Your family is designed to be incorporated in the call God has for your life and the job you believe He wants you to do. God doesnât break up families for the work of the ministry. Marriage and family life were Godâs concept, and He wants us to respect our marriage vows and take care of our families (*1).ÂAs long as your spouse wants to stay with you, itâs your opportunity to easily walk in the love of God and show by your illustration how fantastic it is to be a Christian (*2). Find all the scriptures on love and meditate on them. Keep in mind 1 Corinthians 13:8 âlove never fails.â In other words, you have to create the charisma and spiritual characteristic that parallels the feature âto walk in love.â Itâs a huge task, but in Jesus, it can be accomplished!!! CHOF & BWFHJr Ministry is, praying for you, believing, and celebrating with you. Amen? Aaamen. âď¸â¤ď¸đÂProbing For Spiritual Answers Cross-Reference Verses*1. “The Name Above All Names”
Beloved, everyone wants to make a name for themselves.
Focal Verse:
Genesis 11:4 (NLT)
Then they said, âCome, letâs build a great city for ourselves with a tower that reaches into the sky. This will make us famous and keep us from being scattered all over the world.â -
âThe Truth Will Shield Youâ
Praise the Lord Believers in the Christian faith.
Happy Monday to each of you.Beloved, one of the most vital parts of the armor of God is the belt of truth. Its importance lies in its key function â to secure or attach. Without the truth, things slip into disorder or confusion. There would be misconceptions, misunderstanding; wrong viewpoints, the wrong perceptions eventually leading to bad choices. Itâs the truth that clears up misunderstandings and uncertainties. Thatâs why the truth has led us to salvation and freedom according to what Jesus says in John 8:32. This morningâs verse tells us that we should fasten the belt of truth. It means that we should allow it to stick to us. Beloved, letâs not allow ourselves to be deceived by false teachings and beliefs. The Bible is the source of truth that we must learn from as well as Godâs Church/ministry so that we have a direction to distinguish the lies from the truth. The truth permits us to draw closer to God. Amen? đ Aaamen. đ
Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE TOO LATE – I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have an Exciting Monday.

âPaul Vs. Apollos?â

1 Corinthians 3:4-6 (AMP)You know Beloved, division is a fleshly desire that reshapes us. It restructures us mentally, emotionally and in some cases financially. Many churches and ministries are very notorious when it comes to division. Theyâll look at a church or ministry that may be less prosperous or smaller and look down on the edifice. For when one says, âI am of Paul,â and another, âI am of Apollos,â are you not characterizing yourself from a fleshly â carnal platform? đ Beloved, WHO THEN IS PAUL, and WHO IS APOLLOS? They were ministers that each follower chose to believe. Didnât the Lord give to each one? đÂOne Planted, One Watered – but it was God who gave the increase. So, then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor.ÂSo, it doesnât matter whoâs more affluent or who has more followers. Weâre all Christians and serve one God who doesnât divide the good from the good but blesses accordingly.ÂBeloved, as believers in Christ weâre Godâs fellow workers â youâre Godâs field, youâre Godâs building.â Let us be mindful we walk âTOGETHERâ with the spirit of God inside us and not the fleshly, carnality of men or women.ÂâTo God Be the Glory.â -
âBe Willing to Consider Practical Serviceâ

Happy Monday Everyone. I hope you had a blessed Fatherâs Day Weekend. Now, allow me to give you a little history here about this morningâs Bible verse. The Babylonian kingdom defeated Israel and relocated the Israelites throughout the kingdom. Jerusalem was over-thrown. The walls were demolished. Then the Persians took over the Babylonians. Now, hereâs where Nehemiah comes in. He found out about the condition of Jerusalem and was overwhelmed with sorrow. He got the Persian king to let him go to Jerusalem to reconstruct the wall, but he faced hostility. However, Nehemiah had God on his side. He told those that were still in Jerusalem why he was there, and they went to work. Leaders, perfume makers, goldsmiths, and merchants were just some of the people who donated to reconstructing the wall.Beloved, God didnât find the best craftsmen and creators. He used the people who were accessible – reachable. They were motivated to work because they had something great to work toward. This is an awesome picture of the church/ministry. When we have a goal to get something done, we can do it âtogetherâ. We shouldnât hate on one another especially when weâre focused on the same cause or being about our Heavenly Fatherâs business. We donât need to be the best at anything, but if we give our best God can use it to do astonishing things that we never would have thought possible. Amen? – Aaamen.Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE – TOO LATE.Our ministry continues to grow. God has truly been good to us!!! We thank each and every one of you for helping to make this possible. And be sure to like, share, or forward this on to a friend so we can âTogetherâ continue to spread God’s word.I LOVE YOU ALL!!! And have a blessed Monday Everyone. đ -
“A Tree Planted By The River – This Too Shall Pass”

Good Morning Beloved Happy Monday to you.You know Beloved, there are many people that will try to do things that they’re not skilled or trained in because it looks good. But the evidence that theyâre not called shows in range of skill or ability.Eventually, they become discouraged when it becomes a struggle to do those things. Thatâs because it’s not what they’re called to do. Unfortunately, theyâll eventually become dispirited. Then, theyâll move beyond discouragement to being critical and mount up attacks on the people and the position that are called or elevated. Thatâs because the dispirited person hasnât discovered what they’ve been called to be or do.Beloved, if you’re over a church, ministry, school, job, or anything that’s transformative by nature, don’t allow your system to be damaged or destroyed by a discouraged or wounded spirit. Stand strong like the tree planted by the river and this too shall pass.Have a blessed week Everyone.
