    5 4 2020 1 Corinthians 11 1 NLT
Praise The Lord Everyone!!! Happy Monday to you. ✝️❤️😊

You know Beloved, one of the most potent regular statements in the Christian faith, is “Be Imitators of Christ. But how many know what it means?  Sure, everyone realizes Paul was a prudent man, but he also made errors. So, what is Paul implying here? He tells us to replicate him. Beloved, what Paul is saying to us here is he wants us to look at him as an example as he follows Christ’s example. Now some people would say that that’s pretty selfish or self-centered. Well, it’s not. Beloved Paul is educating us. He’s saying it doesn’t matter what he does we should imitate Christ the best we can. In actuality, Paul uses himself only as a reminder to us that just as he made mistakes, we will too.

Beloved, what matters is what we do when we make those errors. Amen? Aaamen. ✝️❤️😊

    Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly, once again, I come to say Thank You. Thank You for being the example we can imitate in our lives. Lord, You provide us illustrations that will remind us we’re only human. Father God help us to utilize the examples around us, and in scripture to show us how to replicate You better. In Jesus’ Name, I Pray, Amen, and Aaamen. ✝️❤️

Let’s all remember to wash our hands and continue to stay in compliance with social distancing. ✝️❤️😊

I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have a Spectacular Monday and a Resourceful Week, Everyone. ✝️❤️😊

  • Ephesians 6:10-18

    It's Time to Battle
Beloved, we’re facing a thief we can’t see. We know this thief’s name is Coronavirus or COVID-19, and the thief’s tactics are the same as other thieves: to “STEAL, KILL, AND DESTROY” (John 10:10).

As Christians, we know the realism of spiritual battles. It’s time for us to enforce protection for our weaker brothers and sisters and describe the armor we wear and let them know it’s available to them through Christ Jesus. Explain the Full Armor of God that Christians put on contains the Belt of Truth, the Breastplate of Righteousness, the Gospel of Peace, the Shield of Faith, the Helmet of Salvation, and the Sword of the Spirit. And let them know once the Full Armor of God is appropriately put on have faith that “No Weapons Formed Against Them, Will Prosper” (Isaiah 54).
  • “Probing For Spiritual Answers”

    Praise The Lord Beloved!!! ✝️❤️😊

    This morning’s question was:
Bishop Houston when I was at home, my parents made us go to church. In my twenties, I slowed down, attending church. I’m in my mid-thirties married with children, and I want to go to church more consistently, but my spouse won’t let me go. Can you give me some advice?

Thank you for your question. And sure, I’ll assist you with some suggestions. 😊
    Answer:
First, let me say, your aspiration to be a committed member of a local church is excellent. It’s a part of our new-found spiritual life in Christ that gives us the yearning to serve the Lord.

But complications can occur in a home where one spouse chooses to serve God enthusiastically, and the other doesn’t. It’s always complicated when there’s no agreement on an issue of significance to one spouse or the other. The impulse may be to give up and quit.

But quitting isn’t the answer. That’s just what Satan wants. He realizes your family could become one of his harshest adversaries, and he’ll try to demolish it rather than let that transpire. Contemplating separation, divorce, or abandoning your family in any way isn’t a choice for the believer who chooses to do God’s will. So, don’t battle with your spouse. Battle your real enemy. Begin envisioning your family working for the Lord together in a powerful way and stand on the verse I use for my house – Joshua 24:15, “But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Now, that doesn’t mean for you to lay down the old holier than thou or religious attitude. Just communicate it. In other words, show it. Your family is designed to be incorporated in the call God has for your life and the job you believe He wants you to do. God doesn’t break up families for the work of the ministry. Marriage and family life were God’s concept, and He wants us to respect our marriage vows and take care of our families (*1).

As long as your spouse wants to stay with you, it’s your opportunity to easily walk in the love of God and show by your illustration how fantastic it is to be a Christian (*2). Find all the scriptures on love and meditate on them. Keep in mind 1 Corinthians 13:8 “love never fails.” In other words, you have to create the charisma and spiritual characteristic that parallels the feature “to walk in love.” It’s a huge task, but in Jesus, it can be accomplished!!! CHOF & BWFHJr Ministry is, praying for you, believing, and celebrating with you. Amen? Aaamen. ✝️❤️😊

  • “Use Your Spiritual USB Connection”

    3 9 2020 Colossians 3 15 17
Praise The Lord Everyone!!! Happy Monday to you!!! ✝️❤️😊
You know, in our society today, we live in a world that plugging in or connecting is very important. I was at the airport last week, and I saw people standing in line at the charging station to get their mobile devices charged or recharged. Everyone had a cord connected to their USB port, ready to plug into an electrical outlet.

Beloved, three essential passions are dominant that control my soul: evangelism, the exploration of the Bible, and the assessment of the Word of God. I’m convinced that God utilizes the Scripture to recharge lives.

This morning’s section from the apostle, Paul’s letter in Colossians chapter 3 to the believers in Colossae is one of my favorites. These verses follow Paul’s spiritual philosophies that we’ve been made alive in Christ. Here we find Paul explaining the impressive distinction. In verse 15, Paul uses essential “obligated” words when he says: “the peace.” What Paul is saying here is he wants Christians to have harmony (reconciliation, tranquility) with themselves and with each other. In verse 16, Paul utilizes essential “obligated” words again when he recommends the message of Christ, or the Word of Christ, when he says, “has its home within you.” Here Paul’s telling us the Word should be deeply rooted in us.

Beloved, the words, PEACE, and HAVE ITS HOME WITHIN YOU, implies vital actions on our part.

We must get spiritually plugged in!!!

Paul recommends Christian supporters to live a life saturated in Scripture. Colossians 3:16, in particular, encourages believers to allow God’s Word to live (make a home) in their hearts and lives in a deep-rooted (imperative) and profound way. Bible research, education, interpreting Scripture, and moral music are valuable to your spiritual wisdom and experiences. Too often, we read God’s Word or hear a sermon preached and quickly turn our mind to other things. Instead, we’re encouraged to let the message of Christ absorb us, to live and deeply populate in us until it saturates everything we do. Verse 17 (AMP) says: “Whatever you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus [and in dependence on Him], giving thanks to God the Father through Him.”

Beloved, there’s no long waiting line to get connected or reconnected to God. It’s vital to connect the cord coming from your spiritual USB port into a Bible-based outlet or Spiritual Charging Station until you’re Biblically charged or recharged.
If you don’t, your spiritual battery will die. Amen? Aaamen. ✝️❤️😊

    Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the port that allows us to be connected to You when our life’s battery is drained or weak. It’s a blessing to have a real source with unlimited power. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen, and Aaamen. ✝️❤️

Have a Happy Monday, Everyone. ✝️❤️😊

  • “Jesus Is The Master Teacher”

    1 19 2020 week 3 and 4 Bishop Houston's Sunday Morning Church Matthew 13 10 43
Praise The Lord Everyone!!! Happy Sunday!!! ✝️❤️😊

Beloved, I give thanks to God for blessing me with spiritual insight and the platforms to speak, teach, and pray for people all over the world. As a spiritual clergyman, I focus on presenting the divine instruction of God that morally guides, encourages, and inspires. I love talking with those of you that I’m able to talk with. There are so many of you that it’s very hard to speak with everyone. I love talking to you about what’s going on in your life, your encounters, and the way Jesus meets you. God is “SO” awesome. His grace is profound, and every one of you that I’ve talked with has made serving God from my platform a marvelous experience. I’m an enthusiastic admirer of Jesus Christ, that’s why I do all I can as a follower of the Master Teacher from then platforms I’ve been blessed with. ✝️❤️😊

Our Sunday morning reading shows us the mind of Christ who regularly taught with parables, using pictures and stories from everyday life. Jesus wanted the significance of the subject to be clear to those listening in faith. (*1). He was impeccably in tune with the minds and emotions of His audience, and He constantly lectured following the larger “lesson plan” of His Father.

Now, the second story, that was revealed later was an allegory. It was created about a problem (*2): A decent man planted wheat, then his enemy came and planted weeds in the same field. They were not aware of the weeds until the undesirable plants and good plants began to grow together. The decision was made to separate them at the harvest (*3). Now, there may be some of you out there that are asking: Bishop Houston WHY DID THEY HAVE TO WAIT? Well, I’m glad you asked!!! 😊 It was to make sure the wheat wouldn’t be affected or destroyed.

Then we see the disciples’ come to Jesus and ask Him to explain the meaning of the story about the weeds (*4). The good man is the Son of Man (Himself), while the enemy is the devil. The field is the world. The wheat represents people of the kingdom of God, the true loyal believers in the Son. The weeds represent everyone else. The harvesters are the angels and the harvest is the final judgment.

Beloved, our core lesson for this Sunday morning focuses on two different destinies: Sinners will be punished-thrown away -burned, while at the same time, strong, holy lives will grow up – mature and beautify the kingdom of their Father.” (*5).

    Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for being the miracle we need here on earth. Thank You for sending Your Son Jesus to educate us and thank You for allowing us the opportunity to have an insight into Your word. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen and Aaamen.

Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will enter our earthly room and blow out our candle. So, reach out and touch the ones that need your agape, dissolve the divisions among you, continue to encourage one another, be united in the same mind, the same reasoning and continue to build one another up.

I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have a fantastic Sunday. ✝️❤️😊

  • “Do You Need Celebrity Status?”

12 1 2019 Colossians 1 18 20 AMPPeace to all of you who are in Christ and Happy Wednesday. 😊

You know, there have always been prominent people, the modern-day world has created a new degree for fame. Outlets like People’s magazines and channels like TMZ and reality Television inspire us to stay interested in every element about celebrities such as their workout routines, diets, and vacations. Sociologists use terms like “celebrity culture” to describe the compulsive interest given to the lives of public figures.

What I’m about to say is disturbing – but must be identified, this culture of creating celebrities has even bled into the church. Just take a look at the mega-churches!!! It’s easy for us to promote and follow famous pastors and church leaders. While God has exceptional people to serve in leadership in the church, and in the Christian ministries but there’s only one true leader. In (v. 18) the concluding section of his celebration of Jesus, the apostle Paul announces Jesus as the “head of the body, the church.”

Now, it’s possible that Paul was cleverly tackling the issues about false teachers, who had taken upon themselves too much authority. If so, Paul confronts their conduct by verifying the supreme authority of Jesus. His authority is established on three central truths:

#1. (v. 18) – Jesus rose from the dead. In His resurrection, Jesus serves as the reassurance, or first fruits, of the resurrection of all believers.

#2. (v. 19) – Jesus is God. The abundance of divinity resides in Him. We can know what God is like. He’s revealed to us in Jesus.

#3. (v.20) – Through His sacrificial death, Jesus made it conceivable for the reunion between a fallen world and God. Jesus discloses to us that God loves us and is even willing to pay a huge personal cost to make a relationship with Him possible.

Beloved, celebrity status isn’t a pre-requisite nor is attaining a goal to apprehend fame when it comes to speaking, teaching or preaching the Good News. It’s a blessing that many churches and ministries don’t have to depend on savvy or cunning leaders for success. All our dependence should always be upon the risen Savior!!! Jesus is the head of the church not because He has published a lot of books, been on celebrity talk shows, been in countless movies, or has an enormous social media following but because of who He is and what He has done. Amen? Aaamen. ✝️❤️😊

    PRAY WITH US:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for our risen Savior. In Jesus’ name, I pray Amen and Amen,

Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will enter our earthly room and blow out our candle. • “God’s Spiritual Stealth”

    12 16 2019 Philippians 1 6 God's Spiritual Stealth

Peace to all of you who are in Christ.

Beloved, allow me to ask you a question: “Have you ever prayed for God to adjust your heart?” You know, change your mind or attitude on something. Perhaps you asked Him to provide you insight, comprehension, or to educate you – give you greater detail about something in particular. Well, I sure have. 😊 there were times in my life I expected things to happen immediately, but then a week goes by and from my point of view nothing seemed to have changed. Well, this morning I want you to be encouraged!!!😊 Because God awards that form of prayer!!! One day you’ll look back at all God has instructed you about that issue or question and you’ll comprehend that He was working on your heart and that all along He was educating you without you seeing it. God’s Spiritual Stealth is always working. 😊

Beloved, transformation, and understanding come with time, so don’t be disappointed if you’re not where you want to be right now. Whether you recognize, understand it or not, God’s working!!! The Christian life is an expedition and this moment is only one tiny part of it. You can be confident when I say to you that He’ll finish the work He has started in you.

    Amen? Aaamen. ✝️❤️😊

    Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, You’re a terrific teacher. Thank You for educating us in a way we’ll comprehend, whether we know You’re doing it or not!!! In Jesus’ name, I pray,
    Amen and Amen. ✝️❤️😊

Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will enter our earthly room and blow out our candle.
