    Praise the Lord Beloved!!!
    Happy Monday to Everyone. 

    Beloved we all need to raise our level of expectancy!!! It’s like God is saying to us, “You think you’re blessed now?  Let me tell you, you haven’t seen anything yet!!!” And I’m sure God has been good to you, but He also has things for your future that, if He told you right now, would overwhelm your mind. You wouldn’t even believe it.

    Beloved, if you would have told me 38 years ago while I was into worldliness that one day I would be a minister, create a ministry from the ground up,  speak, teach, and preach the word of God to thousands and thousands of people, put out CDs, audio podcasts, have an internet radio program, I would have said, “You’ve totally lost your mind!!!” Back then, I could not even fathom that!!!! Beloved, that’s how God wants to bless you in your future. He wants to overwhelm you with His goodness and with things so wonderful you can’t even comprehend it!!!

    Today, I’m encouraging you to get ready for your increase. This is the time for you to step into so many blessings you can’t even imagine. Keep believing, keep obeying His Word and keep your heart and mind open to what He has for you because you haven’t seen anything yet!!!

    The answer is a RESOUNDING YES!!!

    This should not be a hard question for a Christian to answer.  Every Christian should be able to recognize that God is indeed Angry!!!

    Today’s Society has turned into a Modern Day Sodom and Gomorrah.  There is so much corruption, crime and evil that is taking place every minute of the day.

    Stealing, Killing, Cheating, Robbing, Bullying, Peer Pressure, Terrorist Activity, Sexual Immoralities, Disobedience, Lying, Adultery, Fornication, Embezzlement, Ponzi Schemes, Coveting, Jealousy and Idolatry are just some of the heinous activities and actions prevailing in our world today.

    Understand that God is in the midst of handling “all” of these devious, malicious, and heinous activities that are taking place every minute of the day in our Society.

    Romans 1:18 (AMP)
    18 For [God does not overlook sin and] the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who in their wickedness suppress and stifle the truth,
    ***God is not pleased with the non-stop devious, malicious, and heinous activities that are occurring; they have angered Him!!!!

    If our Society is not careful and doesn’t change from its wicked ways, actions and activities; God will fully release His wrath again upon our Modern Day Sodom and Gomorrah just as He has done in the past.

    Genesis 19:24 (AMP)
    24 Then the LORD rained down brimstone (flaming sulfur) and fire on Sodom and on Gomorrah from the LORD out of heaven.

    In essence God’s Wrath is currently being shown to us through the increased historic disasters, turmoil, demise and devastation that are simultaneously happening throughout the world. His wrath should really serve as a wake-up call for all us.  It is indeed time for us to get our houses in order.

  • “Be Vigilant-It Is What It Is”

    Beloved, I’ve learned God calls the things that are not as if they already are. He doesn’t call you what you are, He calls you the way He sees you. That’s because He constructs with His words, and so do you.

    When I decided a little over 20 years ago to step up and accept my calling into the ministry I was frightened. When I decided to create Christian House of Faith, CHOF/CHOF Ministry 8 years ago, I was apprehensive because I didn’t know what to expect. I was fearful of failing. I felt unqualified, inexperienced, and intimidated. The whole time, on the inside, I could hear that still, small voice saying, Wilburn, ‘regardless of what people will say, you are very capable. You can do all things. You have what it takes. You are strong in the Lord.’ Beloved, God was calling me something that I was not. I was not strong and bold and confident. Actually, I was weak, insecure, and intimidated. Somehow, I had the faith to believe what God said about me. And it didn’t happen overnight, but little by little, I became what God called me.

    Beloved, today, regardless of what people (family, friends ect…) say about you or your calling, it’s what God says it is. Be vigilant to what God has for you and follow His example and call things that are not as though they are. Look through “your eyes of faith” and call it like you see it. Keep speaking words of faith, keep praying, keep believing and keep moving forward into the bright future He has for you!!!

  • “God Is Larger Than Our Mistakes”

    Happy Wednesday to you. 😀

    Beloved, I have had many people come to me and say, “Bishop Houston, I’ve just messed up it so many times. I just had this terrible setback. I don’t see how I’m going to get out of this mess.”

    Beloved, if you don’t get an understanding on anything else today, I want you to understand this:
    “OUR MISTAKES ARE NOT THAT POWERFUL!!!” 😀
    God is larger than our mistakes.

    Beloved, our mistakes are not too large for God. He’s not up in the heavens shaking His head saying,
    “I never dreamed they would do that. They’ve ruined My plan.” No, God knew every mistake we would ever make. He knew every wrong turn, and He’s already prepared a new route. He already has your detour figured out.

    Bible scripture says that God knows the end from the beginning. Beloved, if you’ve made some mistakes, the good news is that He has already planned a way to get you back on track!!! All you have to do is just come to Him with an “open and humble” heart and let Him wash you clean and make you new.

    Beloved, regardless of what your family, so-call friends or co-workers say to you or about your mistake negatively, their uninspiring words are no match for God’s matchless love and forgiveness toward you.

  • “The Proficiency to Believe”

    Happy Tuesday to you. 😀

    You know Beloved, one of the greatest proficiencies God has given each one of us, is our proficiency to have faith (belief, trust and confidence). If you have faith in God’s Word, you will be able to flourish.
    If you have faith in God’s Word, you can overcome mistakes of the past.
    If you have faith in God’s Word, you can fulfill your God-given destiny.

    There’s inconceivable power in what you believe.

    Beloved, what you have faith in is greater than your circumstances, greater than your trials, greater than your medical report, and greater than your bank account!!! When you get into an agreement with God and have faith in what He says about you, then what you believe will supersede any natural law. I know a person that started a ministry in his basement. He started with nothing but a table and a homemade pulpit and 4 people and 6 bibles. Today his ministry reaches well over 150,000 men and women all over the world. Against all odds, disregarding all faultfinders, ignoring everyone who boycotted his ministry he believed he could do what God placed in his heart.

    Today Beloved, encourage those seeds of faith that are in you by dwelling on His Word. As you get the Word of God in your heart, faith will come to you. Faith will grow and strengthen in you.

    The answer is YES!!!

    Two ways that you should be able to identify another Christian:

    1) Through their Love and Concern for others

    John 13:35 Amplified Bible (AMP)

    35 By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you have love and unselfish concern for one another.”

    2) Through their  Fruits [Acts/Actions]

    Matthew 7:15-17 Amplified Bible (AMP)

    15 “Beware of the false prophets, [teachers] who come to you dressed as sheep [appearing gentle and innocent], but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 By their fruit you will recognize them [that is, by their contrived doctrine and self-focus]. Do people pick grapes from thorn bushes or figs from thistles? 17 Even so, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the unhealthy tree bears bad fruit.

    In essence you should be able to recognize another Christian through their Christian walk and the love that they have for one another.
