  • “Hold On Your Season Is Coming!!!”

Bishop' inspirational word week 3 Cultivating your Life
    Praise the Lord Beloved!!!

You know Beloved, God has predestined certain sequences of things to happen in our lives. Sometimes, when our dreams aren’t coming to pass on our timetable, we can be tempted to get irritated. But we have to be careful not to allow our attitude to keep us from moving forward.

You see, we have to understand that in God’s kingdom, every season is not harvest season. There’s a time for plowing, a time for planting and a time for watering.

Sure, we would love for every season to be a time of increase, but without the other seasons, we wouldn’t be prepared. It’s during the plowing seasons when God’s bringing issues to light that we need to deal with. He’s getting us prepared for promotion. If you’re not making as much progress as you would like, the key is not to lose any ground.  Beloved, you must not allow yourself to go backwards. Keep holding your position by keeping an attitude of faith and expectancy, even when it’s hard.

As you do, you’ll pass the test, and God promises your due season is coming!!!

  • “Be Still”

Living Waters Be Still week 2Zechariah 2:13
“Be still before the LORD, all mankind, because he has roused himself from his holy dwelling.

There’s just too much noise!!! There’s just too much movement!!!

Beloved, have you ever pondered in your mind how some Christians can be going through so much hurt and misery and still they have happiness? It’s because they’re being still. They put all their worries in God’s hands.

Beloved, instead of paying attention to the noise of your apprehensions, listen to the voice of the Lord. We as Christians are not to let our joy come from our circumstances, because circumstances change.

The Lord remains the same. The Lord remains loyal, omnipotent, and loving. So allow your happiness to come from Christ. Be still, stop paying attention to the storm.
He has already demonstrated that He can calm any storm. Sometimes God allows trials so you can learn to be more dependent on Him.

God is saying I’m in control.
I can do all things. Stop fearing and trust in me instead.

So Beloved, when your thoughts are running rampant, don’t seek temporary help by watching TV, going on the internet, etc. Go find an isolated place. A place with no noise. When you stop and focus on the beauty of Christ, you’ll receive the peace that He has promised you. Believe me, when you cry out to Him in prayer you will feel His comfort.

BE STILL, and relax in the Lord. He’s in control.

Allow yourself to reflect on the times that He has helped you, other believers, and people in Scripture.

Beloved, God promises to help you and never leave you. Talk to Him, trust in Him, be still, and you will hear His calming voice and rest upon His strength.

    “God Bless you.”

  • “Cover Yourself!!!”

Bishop' inspirational word week 2 Cover Yourself
    Praise The Lord Beloved!!!

Beloved, is there something in your life that you would like to put a stop to today? Maybe it’s a certain behavior, addiction or bad attitude that isn’t pleasing to God.

You know when Adam and Eve disobeyed in the garden, the first thing God did was to put clothes on them.
That’s because they needed to be covered. Well, this is the same way you and I need to be covered today.

Beloved, we should always cover or clothe with the
    Lord Jesus Christ.

You see, when you “clothe yourself” with the Lord Jesus Christ, you’ll be protected and able to stand strong against temptation.

Now there may be someone asking “Bishop Houston how do I clothe myself with Jesus Christ?”
    WELL I’M GLAD YOU ASKED!!!

First of all Beloved, when you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you’re covered and cleansed by His blood. You’re restored and renewed. Then, just as you get dressed daily, you have to daily “cover” your mind with the Word of God. That means you cover every point that has access to your thoughts. Cover your ears by listening to the Word. Cover your eyes by watching only what is pleasing to the Lord. Cover your mouth by speaking the Word and encouraging those around you. As you cover yourself with Christ, you’ll be strong against temptation, you’ll walk in victory, and you’ll experience the good things He has in store for you!!!

  • Bishop' inspirational word week 3 Learning to be Conent.pngPraise the Lord Beloved.

You know Beloved, in life, it’s easy to get so preoccupied on our dreams and goals, the things we want, that it consumes us. We can get to the point where we’re not happy, and we’re not going to be happy until it happens. But I’ve found that if we have to have something in order to be happy, our lives are out of balance.

Beloved, when your goals and dreams start to aggravate you, when you lose your peace and when you’re not enjoying life, that’s a sure sign that you’re holding on too tightly. But there is a solution to the madness. The solution is, you’ve got to release it!!! Beloved, you have to let it go. Beloved, freedom comes when you say, “God, I’m turning it all over to You. You know my desires, and You know what’s best for me. I’m choosing to trust You and Your timing.”

This is call contentment!!! You see, when you learn to be content, it doesn’t matter what the circumstances are, the power of the enemy is broken.
Contentment takes away his ability to frustrate you. Not only that, but by your actions you’re showing your faith in God. When you choose to trust in His timing, you can live in peace, you can live in joy, and you can rest in Him, knowing that He has good things in store for your future!!!

  • “God Has His Eye On You”

Bishop' inspirational word week 3 God Has Gis eye On You.pngPraise the Lord Beloved!!!

Beloved, do you need direction or refocusing in your life today? Maybe you’re facing an important employment decision, at home or in your affiliations. Well I want you to know this: God Himself will teach you what you should do. He promises to show you the right path or how to get back on the right track. He watches over you and He’ll give you instruction every step of the way!!!

Friends, you have to realize that God’s not just worried about the goal or the end result. It’s not just about getting you from point “A” to point “B.” He’ll be with you every step of the way during the entire process. He wants to see your personality grow and become established. He wants you to mature in faith and understanding. Believe it or not, most of the times, our growth in life happens when the conditions in our life seem to be the most undefined. It is during those unclear times that causes us to rely more on God. So no matter how uncertain things may seem, remember God still has His eye on you. He’s always making sure you make the right choices. He’s working with you to form your personality and attitude. Remember, He’s promised to never leave you nor forsake you.

  • “A Rebuilding Mindset Leads to Superior Blessings”

Bishop' inspirational word week 2 Your Season Is Coming
    Praise the Lord Beloved!!!

Beloved, God wants you to live a content life. He has guaranteed us that He will restore all the things that the enemy has taken. But, just because God gives us this great assurance, doesn’t mean it will automatically and spontaneously come to pass. We’ve got to do our part, and develop a rebuilding mindset. We have to expect things to change in our favor. We have to be tenacious and resilient, and do everything we can to recover what the enemy has stolen from us. If you’ll do your part to have a rebuilding mindset, God will take every problem that comes into your life and turn it into a bridge that will take you to a place of greater honor and superior blessings.
