  • ā€œA Loyal Friend That’s Always Thereā€

Thursday 11 2019 Let Us Pray A Friend That's Always There
Praise the Lord Beloved. Happy Thursday. šŸ˜€

    Ā
You know, I’ve been thinking a lot about this verse lately. There have been times in my life when I cannot complete my goals no matter how hard I try. Very often, all I need is a little bit of help, some intelligent advice, a loyal friendly word or a favor. People need loyal friends. Like that man from the Bible. He needed someone to help him get into the pool, he couldn’t do it alone, and he didn’t have anyone. Blessed is the one that has loyal human friends who are always there to help, but most of the time I’m on my own. The good thing is that there’s one special loyal friend that will never fail us, our Lord Jesus Christ. He’ll always be there to give us a helping hand. He’s the one that will, ā€œput us into our pool.ā€ Sometimes He does it through others, sometimes through little miracles, and we can always be confident He’ll loyally be there.
    Amen-AAAmen. šŸ˜€
    Ā
ā€œBeloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will past through and blow out our earth lights. So today, reach out and let those you love know that you love them.
BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE, TOO LATE.ā€
    Ā
    I LOVE YOU ALL!!!
Have a blessed Thursday Everyone. šŸ˜€
  • “Constant Contact with God”

Bishop Sunday Morning Fortifide Stand Picture
Our Sunday Morning Focal Verse is: Psalm 1:1-2 (AMP)
*1 Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked [following their advice and example], Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit [down to rest] in the seat of scoffers (ridiculers).Ā *2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And on His law [His precepts and teachings] he [habitually] meditates day and night.

Beloved, it’s very important as a Believer we always stay in constant contact with God not just today but daily.
As Supporters or Advocates of Christ Jesus it’s equally as important to stay tuned to His voice. You may have a plan for today, but God may lead you in a totally different direction if you’re allowing the Holy Spirit to penetrate your mind and emotions. Also be brave enough to flow with what ā€œyouā€ feel in ā€œyourā€ heart (mind and emotions) that God wants ā€œyouā€ to do.
Beloved today’s going to be a great Sunday. Listen for the voice of God to lead you. Be strong minded to walk in the Spirit and stay in the movement of God’s direction for you today.
ā€œTo God Be the Glory. Have a blessed Sunday Everyoneā€ šŸ˜€
  • “A Faith That’s Rooted”

    Praise the Lord Everyone. šŸ˜€
I hope everyone had a blessed weekend.

You know Beloved, when we make our desires known to the Lord or say we believe that He’ll do something for us, doubting His ability to deliver His promises must cease. Faith is our spiritual assurance of things expected and the guarantee of things unseen. As believers in Christ, we should believe enthusiastically and not allow an ounce of uncertainty to sneak in. Faith gives us a certain degree of peace and comfort, whereas doubt causes uncertainty, worry and anxiety. Sure, we may have experiences and situations that may make us want to question our maker, yet, even in the severest most painful situations, He’s there with us. We need to rely less on this world and stand firm in our faith. The outcome of our faith is what draws new believers to Christianity, and our testimonies of holding on to God daily, inspire and motivate those around us. We’ve seen throughout the Bible, a common trait of every man and woman of God is their faith. A faith that’s rooted like a tree planted by the river.

Beloved, we should seek to emulate those who have left us with examples of how to live Godly lives. All in all, we should continue to place our requests before the Lord ā€œWith Faithā€ knowing full well that at the appointed time, He’ll answer us.

Have a blessed week Everyone. šŸ˜€

  • “Don’t Be a Satisfied Runner-Up”

bishop houston's monday morning blog picture

    James 1:2-3
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

Praise the Lord Men and Women of the Christian Faith. It is cold here and the we have lots of snow. I hope all is pleasant in your nation.

Beloved, I’ll be the first to admit that it’s very difficult to be excited about going through tests and trials. But can you get excited about being absolutely complete in every way, in want of nothing? Well, according to the Word of God, if you’ll use your trials to mature in patience, you’re going to be in exactly that position!!!
    Ā
You see, I’ve found that patience doesn’t mean what I thought it meant. It doesn’t mean being OK with being runner-up. It doesn’t mean standing humbly or quietly by while the devil runs all over you. The devil would love for you to make his job easy.
    Ā
No!!! Patience is a powerful word!!! The New Testament meaning of it as translated literally from the Greek is “to be consistently constant or to be the same way all the time, regardless of what happens.”
    Ā
To understand how much power’s involved in that, you have to understand that it’s one of the most outstanding attributes of God Himself. The Bible says He’s the same yesterday, today and forever.
    Ā
Beloved, just think about that for a minute. The person who absolutely cannot be changed by anyone or anything is an extremely powerful person, wouldn’t you say? Obviously, God has that much power.
    Ā
But you know what? So, do you!!!
    Ā
By the power of the Holy Ghost working within you, you can be the same every day no matter what happens. If you’ll put your trust in the Word of God and let patience go to work, it won’t matter what happens. You won’t ever have to accept anything less than victory again.
    Ā

    Hebrews 12:1-2
Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.

    Praise the Lord Beloved!!! šŸ˜€

This morning I’m going to speak on disciplining the flesh. For many believers (including myself) disciplining the flesh stirs memories of frustration and failure. Many (like myself) know it’s important. The Word of God clearly teaches that. But for many, they’re not sure exactly how to go about it. Some have given up, brushing off such discipline as impossible. Others are still fighting stubbornly to get their flesh under control and losing one battle after another.

This morning I’m here to tell you, it doesn’t have to be that way. In fact, we can’t afford to let it be that way. It will cost us too much.

You see, you and I are blessed to be part of the generation that will see the signs and wonders which the prophets of old wished they could’ve lived long enough to see. We’ll witness the Spirit of God poured out upon all flesh. But sin hinders the Spirit’s movement. And only as we rid ourselves of it will the power and glory of God be manifest through us. Only then will we experience the glorious things that are prophesied to take place in our generation.

So Beloved, put your past failure behind you. Make up your mind that you’re not going to let the sins of the flesh rob you of the glory of God. It’s possible to step out of the sin you’ve struggled with for so long and live under the Spirit’s control.

Look to Jesus!!! šŸ˜€ He’ll show you how.

Have a blessed Tuesday Everyone!!! šŸ˜€

  • ā€œDoes Your Voice Match Your Personality?ā€

new monday morning blog act 6 1 through 6

Beloved, as Christians, we correctly place great importance on creating a solid personal account of the Lord’s work in our life. We also have conversations about the ways that we can show Jesus Christ to our friends, family, and coworkers through our actions. But personality is the part of every believer’s testimony that inspires both Christlike behavior and an honest life story.

In other words, what we do and say epitomizes the kind of person we are on the inside. Likewise, we can tell a lot about Philip’s Personality by noticing his actions and words recorded in Scripture. From among many believers, Philip was chosen as one who was wise and full of the Spirit. He wasn’t selected for a prestigious ministry position, NO!!! He was sent to serve food. Yet he went willingly to do this work and every other job the Lord gave Him, which shows his obedient spirit. (When you have time, you can read how obedient to the tasks that was asked of Phillip – Acts 6:5; Acts 8:5; Acts 8:26). Acts 8:6 gives us a great illustration how sincere and trustworthy Phillip was because it says when he spoke, people listened. Philip’s testimony shines in every way.

Beloved, how you speak tells a lot about who you are. Your voice will eventually match your personality.

    Have a blessed week Everyone.

  • “You Can Stand on God’s Firm Foundation”

You can stand on God s Firm Foundation
Praise the Lord and HAPPY FRIDAY Everyone!!! What a great day to bring joy to the Lord.

    Ā
You know Beloved, faith, repentance, prayer, and righteous living are the building blocks that grant us the privilege to stand firmly on the foundation of God’s joy. When we establish these essential elements God is happy, and when God is happy, we have the privilege to stand firmly on the foundation of His joy. These are the vital building blocks that bring God joy.
    Ā
So this weekend, stay motivated by trying to find ways that will bring God joy. And remember the God of this universe enjoys watching you stand on His firm foundation of joy.
    Ā
    Have blessed weekend Everyone.
  • “Pure Spiritual Influence”

New Monday Morning Blog Galatians 5 22 23
Praise the Lord Beloved, Happy Monday to you all.

    Ā
You know Beloved, so many believers think of the fruit of the spirit as little more than a passive list of pleasant qualities that can help improve their personalities. But allow me to tell you, it’s far greater than that!!! It’s pure influence from on High.
    Ā
Beloved, love is so influential, the scripture says, that it never fails. Patience is so influential it cannot be stopped. No matter what the conditions are, it won’t quit. Temperance is so influential it can master all the unruly desires of your flesh.
    Ā
Beloved, the fruit of the spirit is not weak!!! It’s solid. So solid all the demons of hell can’t stop it. So solid that if you’ll let it flow out of you, it will correct the problems in your life. It will keep you unwavering when all the people around you are falling down or quitting on you. It’ll keep you on your feet when rules fail, people change, and when the storms of life come.
    Ā
I’m sure we all realize we’re living in dangerous days. There’s only one way you can make it through with success. You must begin to release the influential fruit of the spirit God has placed inside you. Believe me, if you’re born again, it’s there.
    Ā
Beloved, if you learn to yield to it, as 2 Peter 1:10 promised, you shall never fall!!!
    Ā
Have a Blessed Monday and a wonderful Week Everyone. šŸ˜€
  • “Bishop Houston’e Monday Morning Blog”

New Monday Morning Blog Genesis 39 2
    Good Morning Everyone!!!

    Ā
Beloved, in the book of Genesis 39th chapter you’ll find that Joseph didn’t wait until everything was going right to trust God. He trusted God’s Hand in his life starting in the pit, all the way to the prison, and then in the palace. *The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man.*
    Ā
Beloved, regardless of the circumstances, Joseph was successful. šŸ˜€ This wasn’t because he had everything, it was because the Lord was with him. šŸ˜€
    Ā
As you go through this week, I want you to be encouraged.
I want you to know that God knows where you are and He’ll never leave you nor forsake you.
    Ā
Have a blessed week Everyone!!! šŸ˜€
  • “You Are Significant In God’s Eyes”

Bishop Houston Grow in Christ weekd logo picture 2222
Praise the Lord Beloved – Happy Friday to Everyone!!! šŸ˜€
What a joy and honor to start the day with you.

You know Beloved, people today rate a person’s importance by their, reputation, titles, position, possessions, where you go, what you drive, what kind of home you live in or the area you live. But God’s rate classification is very different from the world’s rate classification. If you’ve ever thought that God has too many other important things on His plate to be concerned with you and your life, I want you to know today that, ā€œYOU’RE GOD’S NUMBER ONE PRIORITY!!!” And there’s nothing you can do to be more significant or less significant. God rates you simply because He made you, and your rate will never change. You are significant. Your life is significant. The things that concern you, concern God. He carefully watches over every aspect of your life. There’s nothing too big or too small for His attention.

Beloved, this weekend, take your apprehensions and cares to the Father. He loves to hear you call on Him, and He’s waiting to show Himself strong on your behalf. Because you’re important to Him, He’s ready to bless and authorize you to live successfully all the days of your life.

Have a Blessed Weekend Everyone. šŸ˜€
