  • “Not Held Accountable”

    Weekend Inspirational Word:

You know Beloved, when Cain murdered his brother and lied to conceal the homicide, God told Cain that Abel’s death (blood) cried out to Him from the ground and demanded justice.

Beloved, God answered Cain’s question clearly: “WE ARE” our brother’s keeper. Centuries later, He stressed this point to Ezekiel when He sent the prophet to Israel’s insubordinate nation. In Ezekiel 3, the Lord warned Ezekiel that if he didn’t inform the wicked or tried to save the wick’s life, and they died in their sin, their death would be his fault.

It’s the people of God’s moral-ethical responsibility to witness to the lost. If we fail to do so, and their souls are banished, God will hold us at fault. Their blood (death) will be on our hands.

When Paul addressed the elders at Ephesus for the last time, he proclaimed that he was “innocent of the blood of all men.” He had advocated the Gospel completely, passionately, and without regret. The people that didn’t get saved couldn’t indict him.

Beloved as we end another week and prepare for the weekend, let us all keep in mind that we have a higher-ranked calling, a sacred responsibility that we’ll be held accountable. Our hands are not released from the blood (spiritual or carnal death) of the carnal until we have done all we can to win those souls to the restorative comprehension of Jesus Christ. Amen Aaamen.

May the Lord exalt you and protect you. May the Lord’s unconditional love create a joyful glow on you and be compassionate to you and give you His tranquility. May you walk with courage these last days and take every opportunity to proclaim the Good News of Jesus to the lost.

Have an enjoyable Friday and a Fantastic weekend.

  • “Don’t Be a Satisfied Runner-Up”

bishop houston's monday morning blog picture

    James 1:2-3
My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

Praise the Lord Men and Women of the Christian Faith. It is cold here and the we have lots of snow. I hope all is pleasant in your nation.

Beloved, I’ll be the first to admit that it’s very difficult to be excited about going through tests and trials. But can you get excited about being absolutely complete in every way, in want of nothing? Well, according to the Word of God, if you’ll use your trials to mature in patience, you’re going to be in exactly that position!!!

You see, I’ve found that patience doesn’t mean what I thought it meant. It doesn’t mean being OK with being runner-up. It doesn’t mean standing humbly or quietly by while the devil runs all over you. The devil would love for you to make his job easy.

No!!! Patience is a powerful word!!! The New Testament meaning of it as translated literally from the Greek is “to be consistently constant or to be the same way all the time, regardless of what happens.”

To understand how much power’s involved in that, you have to understand that it’s one of the most outstanding attributes of God Himself. The Bible says He’s the same yesterday, today and forever.

Beloved, just think about that for a minute. The person who absolutely cannot be changed by anyone or anything is an extremely powerful person, wouldn’t you say? Obviously, God has that much power.

But you know what? So, do you!!!

By the power of the Holy Ghost working within you, you can be the same every day no matter what happens. If you’ll put your trust in the Word of God and let patience go to work, it won’t matter what happens. You won’t ever have to accept anything less than victory again.

“No person has the right to rain on your dreams.”

Have a blessed Week Everyone. 😀
  • “THANKFUL”

    Thankful

Praise the Lord Everyone. I hope everyone is enjoying this Thanksgiving Holiday.

You know Beloved, Thanksgiving Day is a day that is designated for everyone to give thanks. Now that this special day has come and gone, let us remember being thankful is an everyday occurrence as long as we have breath in our body. Let us all remember that we’re all called to a particular service by God. There’s nothing here on earth God hasn’t identified with. Though we all walk, work and entertain, we all do it according to the capacity that God has provided each of us. This is a daily occurrence, so we must be thankful daily. To every man, woman, boy and girl, God has spelled out something for each of us to be thankful for “daily”. Though twins are born the same day they’re not born at the same time, so each come in with a desired plan God has for them and them only. Their thanksgiving may be directed differently from each other.

So, this weekend Beloved, let each of us be thankful for who we are where we are, who we provide our duty of service to, and let us enjoy being thankful to the Master Planner who has committed His unadulterated unrestricted love toward those of us who are filtered into a marginalized, minimized, optimized, materialized, or personalized, way of life – To God Be the Glory!!!

    Have a blessed weekend Everyone.

  • “Bishop Houston’e Monday Morning Blog”

New Monday Morning Blog Genesis 39 2
    Good Morning Everyone!!!

Beloved, in the book of Genesis 39th chapter you’ll find that Joseph didn’t wait until everything was going right to trust God. He trusted God’s Hand in his life starting in the pit, all the way to the prison, and then in the palace. *The Lord was with Joseph, and he was a successful man.*

Beloved, regardless of the circumstances, Joseph was successful. 😀 This wasn’t because he had everything, it was because the Lord was with him. 😀

As you go through this week, I want you to be encouraged.
I want you to know that God knows where you are and He’ll never leave you nor forsake you.

Have a blessed week Everyone!!! 😀
  • “COME AND SEE”

    COME AND SEE

Praise the Lord Beloved!!! 😀 It’s Fantastic Friday again, and another weekend is upon us.

    “COME AND SEE!!!”

You know CHOF Ministry’s conception was preconceived backed in 2000. The ministry name as it stands today was not the original name, as a matter of fact the name changed several times over the years up until its spiritual conception and physical delivery. I do feel that when a pastor out of Texas introduced the idea to me to incorporate an internet ministry he didn’t see this ministry lasting 10 years and counting and actually many others didn’t either. Psalm 66:5 (NLT) says: “Come and see what our God has done, what awesome miracles he performs for people!”

We’re not a mega ministry and we’ve humbly accepted the position that God has established for us. I’m sure you’ve notice, there are so many spiritual ministries on the internet today and CHOF Ministry is happy to be right in there doing what God has selected for us to do -1 Peter 2:9-10 (MSG) says: “But you are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God’s instruments to do his work and speak out for him, to tell others of the night-and-day difference he made for you—from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted…” and Genesis 2:9 (NLT) says: “The Lord God made all sorts of trees grow up from the ground—trees that were beautiful and that produced delicious fruit. In the middle of the garden he placed the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.”

Beloved, it’s God who establishes, and it’s God who increases or decreases not a social media LIKE, FOLLOW, OR FRIEND. If that was the case CHOF Ministry would have been incinerated years ago. But as I sat here in my office this morning praying and thanking our Savior a question arose into my mind what are the qualities that have allowed us to endure over the past 10 years? I finished praying then pondered the question more in-depth.

After just a moment of thought, the holy spirit planted 3 words into the soil of my mind *Integrity, *Sincerity, *Faithfulness-loyalty. Beloved these 3 words are the foundation of my life today and I have planted the same seeds into the soil of Christian House of Faith, CHOF/CHOF Ministry.

Over the years these 3 seeds have been cultivated in my life, First Lady Donece’s life and our ministry.

*The seed of Integrity: “We’re candid, we don’t pull any punches, we don’t offer any “unwanted or second-hand Jesus gibberish for people who respond with ignorance.”

    * The seed of Sincerity: there are many who have found out that “We mean business in what we’re doing.”

*The seed of Faithfulness-loyalty: We don’t allow man/woman to dictate or try to establish their man made requirements on or in our spiritual soil. We trust God day in and day out, and we let Him open the door, and we let the Holy Spirit accomplish what He wants in the hearts and minds of people who are now listening all over the world. We’re building on these 3 pillars everyday-they’re our present and our future in other words they’re our missional DNA that feeds CHOF Ministry and they will not change.

We see the opportunity not only to hold out the truth of God’s word and apply it to real problems in people’s lives here in the United States, but increasing, around the world. Because, you know, here in the United States, we have many Christian resources but, in places where Christians are the first in their country. In places like Kyrgyzstan or Turkey, Indonesia, and Kosovo, many African states, people who come to know Jesus need to know how to follow Him. They need to know how to work out their faith in their relationships, in their workplace, in raising their children. And so, increasingly CHOF Ministry is focusing – as the Lord provides – to take these resources – our devotionals that we produce – and make them available to people in places where the church is in what we call its “first generation.” And I’ll admit also humbly, God has been really faithful, not only in providing the means to do this, but in opening doors. Today we’re humbled, but surprisingly, CHOF Ministry is in many Muslim-majority countries. This is where we see God on the move and we see Him opening doors. Our objective is to communicate in clear, simple terms with the man or woman who was on the street, the person who had no use for organized spiritual faith but had a need in their heart. And subsequently, our objective was to bring him/her into confrontation with God’s purpose and will for his/her life. And we discovered there was a need not only in Ohio – where we started, but all over the world, and since we have been established God has blessed our ministry as we continue to try to reach the hearts of men and women who have an empty spot that can be filled only by God’s Son Himself. Through the continued development of today’s modern technology, the opportunity for CHOF Ministry to reach many people, cities, states, and countries or endless. After serving on the other side of the battlefield for so long, it gives me great joy to say “SO LONG” to that side of the battlefield because it’s so exciting to be on assignment with God and I’m very grateful to be the team leader for CHOF Ministry.

Beloved, this weekend thank God for where you’re at and then ask Him to plant the 3 seeds of Integrity, Sincerity and Faithfulness-loyalty into your soil. You see, every person is important to our Heavenly Father and He blesses the basic needs of every individuals all over the world whether you live in Ohio, Manila, Tokyo, Albania or in one of the Muslim-majority countries He blesses according to His purpose. If it’s God’s will, you too could be placed as a leader of your very own ministry or be a part of an awesome spiritual edifice that not only lead people but also reach them.

Beloved, those who come to an understanding of God’s plan and purpose for their life will receive God’s spiritual transformation that comes with 24 hour 7 days a week maintenance agreement for the rest of your spiritual life.

Have a blessed Weekend Everyone. 😀
  • “OUR HUMBLE SERVANT”

New Monday Morning Blog Matthew 20 28
Praise the Lord Beloved. Happy Monday to you all.

I’m sure many of you that are believers like myself, like to talk about Jesus as Lord, Master, and especially Savior, but you know, rarely is He mentioned as Servant. Yet describing His own mission, Christ Himself said in Matthew 20:28, “The Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” Beloved, He entered this world to offer Himself for the Father’s purpose and mankind’s need. Because every human being is born enslaved to sin, Jesus came to set us free.

He voluntarily exchanged His glory for flesh because only as a human could He die in our place to pay the penalty for our sin. The greatest service He offered was His sacrifice on the cross. He allowed His purity to be violated on the cross by our transgressions. In fact, in 2 Corinthians 5:21 it tells us that God made Jesus “who knew no sin be sin on our behalf” so that we could gain His righteousness.

Beloved, our sinless Savior suddenly and painfully felt the burden of guilt, the despicability of sin, the weight of a tarnished soul, and a wretched separation from His Father. He suffered the injustice of dying for our sins in order that God’s holiness and our imperfection could be reconciled, and we could be shown mercy.

Beloved, Jesus was the Father’s servant, agreeing to an atonement plan that made Him a sacrifice. And He’s your servant as well, He humbly endued the punishment you deserved. To receive the benefit of His sacrifice, all you have to do is believe and call on Him for the forgiveness of your sins. When you receive Him into your life, then you too will know the Servant, Jesus Christ, as Lord and Savior.

    Have a blessed Monday Everyone.

  • “Don’t You Let Nobody Turn You Around”

You know Beloved, there will be people that criticize your decisions or the way you live life. But these are also the same people that really don’t know you, the same people that listens to and believes rumors and gossip. Beloved, keep your head up, stay focused stay spiritually attached to what God says to your spirit and enjoy the blessed path He’s ordered just for you.

God gave His only begotten Son so that you may live life to the fullest according to His purpose for you.

    Jeremiah 29:11 (NLT)
    (11) For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

Beloved, Don’t You Let Nobody Turn You Around – what God has blessed you with is for you and only you. No one knows the hardships or walked the many miles in your shoes to receive what God has blessed you with. Let no one’s ill-gotten gossip, or rumors put you asunder what God has delivered to you.

Have a blessed Thursday Everyone. 😀

  • “I’m Not Listening”

    bASIC LEVEL THINKERS
Beloved, you’re bigger than undeveloped intellectuals.

  • “It’s Time to Plant”

    Bishop Houstons weekend word picture

Praise the Lord Beloved!!! Another weekend has arrived on our doorstep.
    Hallelujah!!!! 😀

One of the scriptures I read this morning came from 1 Peter 1:23 and it says: “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth forever.”

You know, speaking for myself and the worldly life I lived in the past, allows me to speak the Word of God without any conviction. You see, I’m a living proof a walking testimony when I say, you won’t really get excited about the Word of God until you realize that it’s more than just a collection of divinely inspired promises. It’s a living force that literally carries within it, the power to make those promises to become a reality in your life.

Now the question that stands at hand is: Is it tough for you to believe such a thing is possible? Well if you said yes, then I say to you Beloved, “IT SHOULDN’T BE.” You see, you see it happen in the natural world all the time.

Allow me to give you a quick example – If I were to put a watermelon seed in your hand and tell you that within that tiny, dry seed lies the power to produce a stalk thousands of times bigger than the seed, to produce leaves and roots and a round or oval shaped, green watermelon, you wouldn’t have any trouble believing that, would you? That’s because, you know from experience that even though that little seed doesn’t look like a watermelon factory, but, somehow, given the right environment, it will become one.

Beloved, Jesus says the Word of God works by that same principle. There’s miraculous power within it. It’s a seed that, once planted by faith in a human heart (mind and emotions), will produce more blessings than you can imagine. 😀

Beloved, once you grasp that, you’ll get extremely excited about the Word of God. That’s what happened to me. 😀

Over 20 years ago, I caught a glimpse of what that Word could do. I caught a glimpse of the power within it. Before long, I had a Bible in every room of my house, a Bible in my car, and a tape player or a Christian television program and gospel music playing nearly all the time.

I spent every possible moment in the Word of God because I wanted the power of that Word inside me more than I wanted anything else in the world. I knew it would blow the limits off my life. I’m speaking of limits that had held me back and kept me down for years. I knew that when I read it, I wasn’t just reading, I was planting seeds. Seeds of prosperity, seeds of health, seeds of protection and seeds of victory for every area of my life.

Beloved, this weekend, don’t treat the Word of God like a book. It’s not!!! It’s a spiritual seed that has the supernatural power within it to produce the harvest of a lifetime. This weekend, get excited about it and start planting now!!!! 😀

Have a blessed Weekend Everyone!!! 😀

    Recieving me
I have no anxieties about what other people reflect about me.
