Bishop Houston’s Tranquility Falls #1
“Bishop Houston’s Tranquility Falls” I’ve created this short video clip to bring a spiritual word of inspiration and encouragement with a tranquil meditative relaxing environment. I understand that from time to time we all need to just get away from the fast pace life and step into a quick setting to reflect, consider, plan, or even look for an answer. I’ve created Bishop Houston’s Tranquility Falls just for you.
If the Lord says the same, I’ll see you next Tuesday at Tranquility Falls.
Have a blessed Tuesday. CHOF & BWFHJr. Ministries are “An Online Ministry That’s Teaching and Inspiring People All Over the World with Informative Biblical Principles” -
Probing For Spiritual Answers – “SAY NO”
Praise The Lord Beloved!!! ✝️❤️😊
This week’s question is: Bishop Houston, many people come to me and ask me to do different things and ask me for favors. I am a sympathetic person, and I am always putting myself in their position. But there are times I feel I’m being played, and when I go to them for a favor or ask them to do something for me, it’s like trying to get meat from an angry lion or an excuse why they can’t. Bishop, I want to know how do I say “no” to people without feeling guilty?
This morning’s question is a great one. Thank you for asking.
Answer: Beloved, saying no is an exceedingly tricky conclusion, especially saying no to those you love and faithfully care about. At one time, I had my internal bouts by not denying the request of others. That was until I learned to trust the Holy Spirit within me. I learned to allow Him to have His way. You see, the problem lies within; Its “internal, it’s your compassionate desire verses your spiritual aspirations. Beloved, when you remove you (your compassionate desire) and agree to permit the Holy Spirit within you to be your guide, you can say “no” without explanation, justification, or guilt. You will be able to let your yes be yes, and your no is no without any reservations.
Now, at times you will have to apply your spiritual discernment to discuss why you had to say “no.” You are going to have to let them know you are trusting the Lord to help you make decisions about specific (or all) areas of your life. Help them comprehend that He understands what lies ahead in every decision, and you cannot just lean on your own understanding or do your own thing without getting His approval!!!
And, when you do discern that you need to say “no,” DON’T WAVER. Your “no” may be the key to help others reconsider their idea or course of action. The Spirit could lead them to a better decision or approach.
But do not ever think you owe anyone an explanation for saying “no,” primarily if you have candidly and truthfully made clear to them who directs your life and how you make decisions!!! Amen? Amen.
✝️❤️😊
Beloved, I hope my answer has helped you.
Thank you for your question.

“Slow Down”

Q: Bishop Houston, I am in an economic crisis. I have prayed and prayed I have admitted where I went wrong, and I have corrected those areas, but I am still in financial trouble. What else can I do?
Thank you for your excellent question.
A: Many are feeling the economic crunch as we try to recover from the pandemic shut down. Recovering from a crisis of any kind isn’t always a quick fix or Jeanie in the bottle remedy. Prudence, insight, and knowledge is the answer. Understanding your predicament is the key to recovery. Proverbs 4:7 (AMP) says, “The beginning of wisdom is: Get [skillful and godly] wisdom [it is preeminent]! And with all your acquiring, get understanding [actively seek spiritual discernment, mature comprehension, and logical interpretation].”
I realize that sounds uncomplicated, but it’s shocking to see how many believers forget to do it when crises come. They get so overwhelmed most of the time they run to every source they feel will point them in the direction that seems correct to repair or resolve their problems.
Beloved, discovering how to slow down a little in certain circumstances, and start commending God for His brilliant work, His covenant of peace, and say no to the evil or crisis that’s trying to take that peace from You. You must stand on your faith and believe that God is with you during your emergency, and He’ll deliver you. Pray and ask God for His wisdom in your crisis. He’ll show you how to meditate and cleverly use your faith. No matter what or how baffling your problem may appear, you can pray with confidence, knowing God will answer it. James 1:5 (AMP) says, “If any of you lacks wisdom [to guide him through a decision or circumstance], he is to ask of [our benevolent] God, who gives to everyone generously and without rebuke or blame, and it will be given to him.”
Not long ago, First Lady Donece and I were facing a complicated situation. It came out of know where. We were perplexed because we didn’t see it coming. To be truthful, I immediately reacted by reciting every scripture and praying every way I could think. But the Holy Spirit stepped in and disconnected “my” actions – “Slow Down.” Now, there’s nothing wrong with affirming scriptures, and it’s beautiful to pray. But in the sudden emergence of the crisis, I missed the principle thing I needed. “WISDOM!!!” Beloved, I lacked wisdom. I needed to settle down and get an understanding and believe everything will be fine. I didn’t have to get so alarmed. All I had to do was pray in the Holy Ghost, and He showed me the perfect will of God. All I had to do is listen to God’s directions.
Today, I’m here to confess to you after several days had gone one morning as I woke God exposed His wisdom to me. I woke up understanding precisely what, who, and how the crisis occurred and HOW TO ADDRESS IT. As a result, First Lady and I have walked away from what meant to be a bad situation into victory – success.
Beloved, I hope my answer has helped you.
Thank you for your question.

“Uniting During a Disaster”

The Coronavirus (Corvid – 19) has place panic and shock all over the world today. This type of disaster has sounded a countrywide alarm that people in the modern era are not familiar. Disasters can be daunting. In the fog of an emergency, it can be difficult to see anything, no matter the good things that God might be doing. During a disaster, job lay-offs may occur, money, investments, and other resources may start to dissolve, and relationships may dangerously threaten to collapse, or you may experience some other destructive event. It’s devastating to see your world transformed from being beneficial to pandemic status. Sooner Or Later, you start to question if God might be rebuking for something. But in reality, we need disasters to balance our spiritual ecosystem. Often many people won’t try to connect with God until there’s a crisis in their life. When an emergency occurs in their life, many people try to find all kinds of ways to connect with Him in ways that they wouldn’t ordinarily think. Let some fake news get started; During this pandemic, the rumor mill on social media has been non-stop!!! For many people, fake news has been their god. Rumors such as how to know if you’ve contracted the virus. From holding your breath to drinking water. Or the origin of the virus and how about the confounding effect of a medical test for a cure. These are just a few in many that I received, heard on T.V. and read on different social media sites. Beloved, be careful of fake news; it will alter how you few yourself and re-route your spiritual values.Beloved, life isn’t about you; it’s about God. A significant disaster induces our spiritual mentality. A crisis encourages us to go and discuss it with God. Matthew 11:28 (AMP) says: “Come to Me, all who are weary and heavily burdened [by religious rituals that provide no peace], and I will give you rest [refreshing your souls with salvation].” Beloved, we can go to God with anything that burdens us. Is that so bad?Understandably, suffering is painful. But Jesus’ point in John 15 is that the only way we can thrive in life is by being instinctively attached to Him, like branches to a vine. That means our lives will be far more affluent connected to Him in a disaster than if we’re wandering off on our own.The pandemic is massive, but we serve a Mighty God that has the answer and the remedy to every crisis.Beloved as we enter this Friday and step into the weekend, I want you to understand, the point isn’t that disasters aren’t unfortunate; it’s that staying connected to Jesus Christ is good. Sometimes God uses the blinding fog of a disaster to help us find Him. Amen? Aaamen. ✝️❤️😊Let Us Pray:Dear Heavenly Father, we need You. You’re our source that has the resources to recover and move beyond this pandemic. Please connect us deeply to You. In Jesus’s name, I pray, Amen and Aaamen. ✝️❤️Have a Blessed Friday and a safe weekend, Everyone.✝️❤️😊 -
“Time Is Expiring for Hard-Headed People”

The LORD kept dispatching the prophets with admonitions because He had compassion for His people. Judgment would come, but their receptiveness to the word of God would have made an enormous difference in their transition to captivity. But because they were so hard-hearted—had no feelings, insulting, hating and making fun of prophets, the defeat by Babylon was very brutal. Young and old were murdered, and everything of value was taken and they burned the Temple.Beloved, the harder we make our hearts – the more we refuse to listen, the more we reject or ignore those sent to deliver a moral word, the more devastating the circumstances must be to wake us up and turn us around. They had faced embarrassing defeats during the reign of the last four kings, but none of those defeats caused them to humble themselves before God and turn to Him. There was no cure. God looked for another way, but there was none. You know, often people will ask how God could have allowed a disaster to happen. Well, in many cases, it’s because there was no other solution. Many times, there’s no less alternative that will turn people from the hardness of their hearts or being “hard-headed.”
Beloved, Israel had ignored the law of Sabbath rest for many centuries. Every seventh year they were not supposed to plant, but just let what came up on its own be sufficient for them. If they had ignored this law for 490 years, then the land was due for 70 years of Sabbath rests. That’s exactly what happened. The land had its rest, and the people received their embarrassment. They stopped being hard-headed and changed their hearts. Those who returned were unwilling to accept idol worship and possess a fear of disobeying God. Their spiritual observance moves into the period of restoration. The people were allowed to return and build the temple again. God would prepare them for a great redemption – the coming of the Messiah.
Beloved, continuous rebellion and mockery against the allowed personnel of God will get you a visit from an angry God along with all your infractions well documented, including the major penalty for each one.
Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, help us turn to You before it’s too late. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen and Aaamen.Beloved life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind may enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone you love and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE – TOO LATE. I LOVE YOU ALL!!!
Have a fantastic Sunday. 😀

“Properly Prioritize God”

I’m sure we all agree that there are a lot of things that requisition our attention. Requisitions such as work, our families, household responsibilities, and more. At the core of all of that, there’s God. Now, if we say or have a mentality to put God first, our priorities should replicate that. Now, perhaps there’s someone out there asking: “What does that mean Bishop Houston?” if you’re out there asking that question – Well, I’m glad you ask!!! 😀 It means if we’re not able to wash a load of clothes so we can spend time with God, so be it. It means if we won’t be able to hang out with our friends to go to a spiritual Christian event we want to attend, oh well. It means, if we’ll miss out on watching our favorite TV show or sporting event on TV that will be the top subject the next day, we’ll just have to miss it. God understands all the things we have to do daily, “BUT” that doesn’t mean He should get pushed to the side or put on the back burner.
Beloved, as we head into this weekend if your house is out of order it’s time to think about getting your situation prioritized properly. If you want God to prioritize you in your time of need, properly prioritize Him first.
Weekend Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father today help us recognize the improper position of our requisition. Help us to re-prioritize by embedding You as the core of our mentality first. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen and Aaamen.Have a great Friday and a “Lovely” Weekend Everyone!!! 😀

“Personally, Adjudicating Your Neighbor”

Praise the Lord Beloved. Happy Monday to you all. 😀You know Beloved, it’s very, very – VERY, easy to discover and intensify the errors of others, especially when it overshadows our own weaknesses and inadequacies. Actually, it’s easy to insult or criticize someone at the expense of their misfortune(s) “especially if we dislike them”, while we ignore our own failures. Beloved, if you claim the Christian faith these kinds of acts can’t and shouldn’t be taken lightly!!! It’s wrong and a very serious misguided step on your spiritual journey. You see, trying to make yourselves look better or standout, by employing dishonorable means is just outright wrong and only smears “YOUR” character and reputation. This is “hypocrisy” at its best, which our Savior avoided and ignored and repetitively warned His disciples about!!!Now, don’t get me wrong here, I’m not saying stop applying godly discernment, and good old common sense, to discern right from wrong, to differentiate between ethical ideologies and unscrupulous corruption. But what “I am saying” is you should NEVER judge your neighbor from a predetermined, impartial, or instigated platform. Fact is many of you insult or criticize a person or people you’ve never personally met or spoken to, so you don’t know their life’s story- THIS IS WRONG ON SO MANY LEVELS. Your information is from gossip-hearsay “he said – she said” mess!!! (*1)Beloved, there’s only one magistrate and that is the Lord. (*2)Someone out there may be asking: So, Bishop Houston, who is my neighbor? – “Well I’m Glad You asked. 😀 It’s everyone!!! Whether a friend or rival, a Believer or not, rich or poor. We as Christians should treat everyone alike with unconditional loving kindness. To put it simply, just don’t speak evil against one another. Remember, with each judgment we make of our neighbor, the exact same measure will be handed to us. (*3)Amen? – Aaamen 😀Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE TOO LATE.I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have a wonderful Monday and a great week. 😀CHOF Ministry’s Cross Reference Scriptures*1. Leviticus 19:16, James 1:26, Proverbs 10:18, Romans 1:29-32*2. James 4:11-12*3. Matthew 7: 2 -
“If It Wasn’t for Noah”

Beloved, one of the dirtiest, most detrimental lies that the devil ever told you was when he said, “You aren’t important.” Beloved, don’t you ever believe that!!! You’re important!!! Every born-again member who believes in Jesus Christ has a part to play in God’s plan. God has something for you to do that no one else can do just like you can. If you don’t take your place and do your part, things won’t be quite right. Now, I can just hear you thinking, “Bishop Houston, I’m just one person. What could I conceivably do that could be so noteworthy? “WELL I’M GLAD YOU ASKED? 😀You’ll see the answer to that question in Genesis 6. There you’ll see that the people on the earth had gotten so evil and corrupt that God had regretted that He’d made them. He was ready to wipe the whole population out, “But He Didn’t”!!! Why? Because of one man: Noah!!! 😀 One obedient man saved the human race. Think about that. What if Noah had said, “Well, this is just too much pressure for me. I can’t live upright before God in the middle of this unreasonable generation. I mean, everyone around me is living the other way. Every man around me imagines only evil in his/her mind and emotions. I can’t make any difference in this dark world anyway. I’m just one man.”
Praise the Lord Noah didn’t say that!!! He didn’t picture himself as an unimportant man whose life didn’t matter. According to Hebrews, he saw himself as a man to whom God had spoken and by faith, he obeyed God. And because of that he ended up being the only thing that stood between mankind and total destruction.
Beloved, the next time you’re tempted to ignore the instructions of God and be disobedient, the next time you catch yourself thinking, it doesn’t matter what I do — just remember Noah. 😀 Consider the fact that, whether you understand it or not, God’s counting on you to carry out your part of His plan. Live like you’re someone important in the kingdom of God. And sooner or later you’ll realize, you are.
Amen? – AAAmen… 😀Let Us Pray: Dear Heavenly Father thank You for believing, trusting and having confidence in me when so many don’t or have doubts about who I am today. Thank You for trusting me with Your spiritual commands and blessing me with the required gifts to achieve my spiritual duty. I’ll continue to stay focus on You and be obedient to Your directives regardless if I understand them or not.
In Jesus’ Name I pray Amen and Amen.Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them,
BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE – TOO LATE.
I LOVE YOU ALL!!! And Have a Blessed Sunday Everyone. 😀
