“If God Chose You Today…”
Praise the Lord Beloved. Joyful Tuesday to you. 😀You know Beloved, our loving God didn’t come to earth as a King, He came as modestly as He could. He came as a baby, WITH NOTHING, and built His life on service and humbling Himself even more. Jesus was so modest many humiliated Him right up to the point of His death. If God asked for sacrifice from you would you be obedient? Could you be as modest as Jesus? Could you take the humiliations? Can you accept not being accepted to an ideal college, that preferred job you want, the beautiful new home you wanted, that assembly of people, etc.? Beloved, what are these things in light of everlasting life – eternity? The Bible tells us that our current sufferings are not worth comparing to the promise of eternity and the glory we’ll see. Jesus saw the glory that was to be delivered to us. He knew what it would mean to humble Himself to the point of death on a cross.Beloved, if God chose you today would you be obedient? Are you willing to live a humbled – modest life without the high end of fashion and materialism? If God chose you today would you be able to live a life that includes critical criticism, ruthless sarcasm, and betrayal on a daily basis?Amen? Aaamen. 😀Let Us Pray:Dear Heavenly Father, this morning my prayer is for our decisions and core desires to stay focused on You and Your glory. That we become more conscious about the things in this life that sidetracks us or tries to grow immoral roots into our spiritual mentality trying to direct us to take our eyes away from what’s everlasting. Help us stay focused on the straight and narrow path. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen and Aaamen.Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE TOO LATE.I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have a blessed Tuesday everyone.CHOF Ministry & Bishop, W. F. “Are You Angry At God?”

Praise The Lord Beloved. Happy Monday.I attended a vigil a couple of weeks ago for a 6-year-old child killed in a drive-by as she slept. There were many angry, hurt, and demoralized people in the wake. People that are tired of the gun violence that has destroyed the lives of many especially innocent children in our inner city. A young man and his wife approached me and told me they too lost their son and a nephew to gun violence and their faith in God was very limited. They told me they were upset with God for continuing to allow little innocent children to be murdered. I could sense their rage and I allowed them to voice their frustration. I asked them if I could pray with them and they refused and walked away.Beloved, there are times in many of our lives when tragedy, hardship, or seeing the evil in the world make us angry. For many people, sometimes that anger gets turned towards God. How could He allow this? If He’s so good, why do these things happen? Honestly, I don’t think that voicing anger is a bad thing. God is the truth and I don’t think He faults us when we’re honest about our feelings. In the Bible King David often brought his grievances to God. In fact, many of them became scripture – just look at Psalms.
So, the next time you feel angry about something that has happened, take it to God. He can handle your questions, but keep in mind that He’s your Father and we must always be respectful. It’s better when we give it to God because He listens, and He cares. He can replace your anger with peace. Amen? Aaamen. ✝️❤️😊
Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You, for hearing our pleas even when we don’t understand and bring our anger to You. Help us to let You exchange our anger with Your peace and to trust in You. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen and Aaamen.I really appreciate your agape love, moral support, encouragement, and prayers. I humbly say “THANK YOU.”
Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE TOO LATE – I LOVE YOU ALL!!! – Have a blessed Monday and an “AWESOME” week everyone.

“Father Knows Best”
Praise The Lord Beloved. Happy Monday. 😀You know, our world has so many disruptions and disorders that can cause us to become apprehensive. This morning’s Bible verse tells us The Lord cares for the sparrows, but we’re worth more. We’re made in His image, and He has a confidential relationship with us. Matthew 10:30-31 says: “And even the hairs of your head are all counted. So, do not be afraid; you are of more value than many sparrows.” Beloved, your finances, your occupation, the institution or edifice you attend, and family are just a few of the things that can divert us and take a lot of our energy if we rely on our will instead of trusting in God’s will and plan. You see, what happens is we’ll become apprehensive and concerned, and before we even realize it, we’ve taken our visions back out of God’s hands because we think we can handle it better than Him.Beloved, God understands you better than you understand yourself. He has the best plan and He knows the absolute best way to get you to where you need to be. Job 28:23 (NLT) says: “Only God understands the way to wisdom, and he alone knows where it lives…”Amen? Aaamen. 😀Let Us Pray:Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that we all continue to remember the things You have faithfully done for us. You’re virtuous, You’re always keeping an eye on us, our struggles, our encounters, and our disruptions and disorders. Help us to see and understand that the things in this world are provisional and to remember the promise of eternal life You have for us. In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen and Aaamen.Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE TOO LATE –I LOVE YOU ALL!!! – Have a blessed Monday and a great week everyone. 😀 -
“Not Popular?”

Praise the Lord Beloved!!! Happy Friday. 😀You know at times, Not being popular, disliked, ostracized, hated can be a good thing, especially when you’re not following the crowd because you know their objectives are misguided or just plain foolish. Also, there are times when the Holy Spirit convicts you to take a stand to speak the truth in love. But let me also add here that you’re not a witness for Christ either when you’re consumed by being righteous and full of pride. This doesn’t serve as an example of Christ-like behavior.Believers in the Christian faith should never act like the Pharisees who were righteous frauds. They were filled with deception and scams. They were hypocrites whose hearts were far away from God. In contrast to them is Jesus. He was kind and gentle and came to heal the brokenhearted – “unpopular, disliked, ostracized and hated.” So, don’t be concerned about being politically correct and possibly dishonoring God in the process. You see, when you take a strong stance for the truth according to God’s Word, God will bless you. 😀It isn’t always necessary for you to be argumentative just to prove your point. There are times when you have to speak up and times you know to hold back or shut up. God doesn’t want you to be in constant conflict with others. Proverbs 15:1 (AMP) tells us: “A soft and gentle and thoughtful answer turns away wrath, but harsh and painful and careless words stir up anger.”Beloved, this weekend, take a chance and just stand on the Rock. You’ll find that it’s the correct choice. God is real and He wants to be your firm foundation. And if this makes you unpopular, disliked, ostracized, hated – “So Be it!!!” – It could be a good thing.Weekend Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, help us all to remember the entrance into the Kingdom of Heaven “IS NOT” attained by popularity. In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen and Aaamen.Have a blessed Friday and a “Great” Weekend Everyone!!! 😀 -
“It’s Only Transitory”

In this world, every one of us has difficulties and troubling situations, but aren’t you happy that scripture promises that they’re only transitory? Our Sunday morning verse tells us they’re momentary – this too shall pass. Compared with eternity, our difficulties won’t last always!!! The second part of this verse tells us that when we stand strong in faith during times of hardship, we’re building that faith and attaining eternal glory. When you acknowledge your trust and reliance on God, you’re passing the exam!!!Beloved, if you’re in the central part of tough times in your life, look to God. The Bible says that Jesus is the author and finisher of your faith. He’s the one who writes faith on the tablet of your mind and seal’s it on the walls of your emotions then matures it until it’s completed on the inside of you as you submit yourself to Him. The only requirements for you are to: SEEK HIM DAILY, FOLLOW HIS COMMANDS, OPEN YOUR HEART AND CHOOSE TO SPEAK HIS WORD which is alive, and dynamic. Remember, your troubling situations are only transitory, but His eternal glory dwarfs them all!!!
Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for working Your eternal glory in me. I cast every one of my cares on You, knowing that my difficulties and troubling situations are only transitory. Thank You for Your eternal blessing on my life today and always. In Jesus’ Name, I Pray, Amen and Aaamen.Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE – TOO LATE.
I LOVE YOU ALL!!! – Have a “Blessed” Sunday, Everyone. 😀

“Confrontation”

Praise the Lord Beloved Happy Monday to you all.Beloved, how many of you hate confrontation? To keep it real, I’m not one – I’m a very candid upfront person!!! But I know a lot of associates who don’t like confrontation. When we confront others, we need to understand it doesn’t have to be mean spirited “feisty or forceful” in other words getting all up in a person’s face. On the contrary, it can be a loving act. Matthew 18 is a great chapter to read but it’s verses 15-20 entitled “Reproving Another Who Sins” (Bible Gateway), is what I would like for you to read.Beloved, we serve a confrontational God, but He does give us steps on how to handle confrontation, He requires us to repent of our sins to Him, and He tells us to seek wise counsel and accountability (*1). Now, for those of us who don’t have a problem being confrontational, I urge you to make sure you’re staying in the parameters God has spelled out in scripture. Your heart is deceitful (*2), you must make sure your confrontation is respectful and God-honoring. For those of you who dislike confrontation, I suggest you read and reflect on God’s truth. Reflect on how you’ve seen His confrontation in your life. I say that to you because most things done God’s way challenges our human nature, and I would say confrontation is one of those things. Amen? Aaamen. 😀Let Us Pray:Dear Heavenly Father, I realize many of us have been hurt by confrontations. Whether it be fighting with parents, siblings, friends, a broken home, violence, manipulation, or fear. I come this morning asking You to show us the way You’ve created us to have confrontations with one another. Help us to tap into Your love and see how we can serve You in our confrontations. In Jesus’ precious name I pray, Amen.Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE TOO LATE – I LOVE YOU ALL!!!Have a wonderful Monday and a great week.CHOF Ministry’s Cross Reference Scriptures*1. “The Truth Will Shield You”
Praise the Lord Believers in the Christian faith.
Happy Monday to each of you.Beloved, one of the most vital parts of the armor of God is the belt of truth. Its importance lies in its key function – to secure or attach. Without the truth, things slip into disorder or confusion. There would be misconceptions, misunderstanding; wrong viewpoints, the wrong perceptions eventually leading to bad choices. It’s the truth that clears up misunderstandings and uncertainties. That’s why the truth has led us to salvation and freedom according to what Jesus says in John 8:32. This morning’s verse tells us that we should fasten the belt of truth. It means that we should allow it to stick to us. Beloved, let’s not allow ourselves to be deceived by false teachings and beliefs. The Bible is the source of truth that we must learn from as well as God’s Church/ministry so that we have a direction to distinguish the lies from the truth. The truth permits us to draw closer to God. Amen? 😀 Aaamen. 😀
Have an Exciting Monday.

“Examine Your Spiritual Teachers”
Happy Friday!!! 😀There are many that come into the Christian faith that wants to be recognized as a new person doing new things, you know: “OUT WITH THE OLD AND IN WITH THE NEW” and as the euphoria continues they now want to preach or teach the Word of God not realizing that many are watching and critically critiquing them. :-D.Beloved, have you ever read or heard something from a preacher, or Bible teacher and wonder what they’re saying is correct? If you haven’t, you should!!! You know, since I’ve become an advocate for the Kingdom of God I’ve been challenged on just about every front or put through a barrage of test constantly especially from those that knew me from my “past”. First, when I received salvation, then when I went into the ministry, and then when I started my ministry. I’m critically critiqued daily. As spiritual leaders/teachers, we all want to be received, but part of being received is being able to receive the barrage of questions and doubts about our spiritual rehabilitation and critically critiqued when we deliver a spiritual word. As a minister of God’s Word, I’ll be the first to tell you I’m not perfect and I’m sure even the most appreciated and respected preachers and teachers will tell you they’re still learning and aren’t going to get everything 100% right all the time. Beloved, there’s nothing wrong with questioning any man or woman that announces a spiritual word. There’re many false teachers out there. So, if you’re ever in doubt or have a question about something a preacher/pastor, Sunday school teacher, or Christian spiritual leader is sharing, one of the best ways to know whether something is truly from God, read your Bible!!! 😀 The more familiar you are with scripture, the more you’ll be able to identify the men and women clergy of God and false teachers. They’ll stand out like pepper on white rice. Now, I want you to keep in mind that even if someone gets something wrong now and then, that doesn’t automatically make them a false teacher. 😀 Discernment is key to determining whether someone just slipped up, is ill-informed, or they’re intentionally leading others astray.Beloved, as you go into this weekend, ask God for discernment about those that lead Christian flocks, Christian ministries, and those that share spiritual words.Dear Heavenly Father, please give us discernment as we hear teachings or read devotional content, so we can know what’s from You and what’s not. Thank You that we have Your word as a guide. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen and Aaamen.Beloved, it’s been another great week for CHOF Ministry and Bishop, W. F. Houston, Jr. Ministry. Thank you so much for allowing us to stimulate your week. First Lady Donece and I appreciate those of you that continue to inbox, email and call us with your praise reports and encouraging words. It really warms our heart each day to hear how God is moving in your life.Have a blessed Weekend Everyone. 😀 -
“Don’t Be Hurried into Anger”

James 1:19-20 “Let everyone be . . . slow to anger; for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God”. These are awesome Bible verses that help me stay saved. 😀Beloved, have you ever began reading your Bible, perceiving all is well between you and the Lord, only to have the Word unexpectedly cut deep into your soul to expose, describe, characterize and categorized a sin you’ve ignored or tried to hide? That usually happens because God wants to eliminate immorality in His children. The Holy Spirit uses the Word to infiltrate the concealed pauses “interruptions” in our heart (mind and emotions) to do His convicting and cleansing work. Now, it’s how you respond to that procedure that will be the indicator of the authenticity of your faith. The “anger” referred to in our morning scripture refers to an adverse response to that procedure. It’s a deep inside “down to the core” antipathy escorted by an intrepid refusal. Sometimes that antipathy can be indirect. Paul described those who “will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires” – (*1).These are the people who tensely go from church to church, ministry to ministry in search of someone who’ll tell them what they want to hear—or a congregation that wants a pastor who’ll make them feel good about themselves (an altered message) instead of preaching the Word (an unaltered – immature word) and setting a high standard of holiness. You know, every now and then antipathy toward the Word stops being indirect and turns to downright up in your face hostility. That’s what happened to Stephen when the crowd he confronted covered their ears, drove him out of the city, and stoned him to death. – (*2). Throughout history there have been many others that have felt the lethal misfortunes of those whose antipathy of God’s truth turned to detestation for His people. You see, to be a recipient of the Word consist of being swift to perceive what it says and unhurried to anger when it disagrees with your personal opinions or confronts your immorality. Beloved, today is your boldness covering an immoral principle? Are you defiant to what God is saying to you through the Word? Do you welcome its criticism and aware of its warnings, or do you secretly feel hostile about it? When a Christian brother or sister challenges an immoral principle in your life, do you accept or reject their advice? Amen? Aaamen. 😀Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE – TOO LATE.Beloved, I thank for your unconditional love. 😀I LOVE YOU ALL!!! “Astute Friends”
Good Morning Beloved, Happy Monday!!! 😀When I was younger, my momma warned me about selecting my friends wisely. But being young and naive, all I could think about was having fun ‘kicking it”. It took me many years to understand that she wanted me to avoid deceitful and malicious company. I thought it was just another pointless apprehension on her part, but her advice proved to be very significant. That’s because our peers have an unswerving influential effect (power) on us. This morning’s bible verse sounds practical but it’s intensely true. You see, to be astute is to walk with the astute. Though being with them doesn’t mean that their insight, understanding, and knowledge will rub off on us automatically, but at least we give ourselves a chance and a glimpse on how to live prudently. It also keeps us from damage control and out of destruction’s way as the friend of the fools is the straight road to ruin.Beloved, trying to save a person who doesn’t want to be saved in the first place is actually a problem and very difficult. Extended interaction with deceitful, malicious and unethical company will eventually corrupt. We need to remember and accept that only God can really change a person’s heart and ways.Beloved, from time to time, it’s mentally, spiritually and monetarily, healthier to avoid than to engage.Amen? – Aaamen.Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them,BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE – TOO LATE.Our ministry continues to grow. God has truly been good to us!!! We thank each and every one of you for helping to make this possible. And be sure to like, share, or forward this on to a friend so we can “Together” continue to spread God’s word.I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have a blessed Monday Everyone. 😀
