“Worthless Unfulfilled Promises”
Beloved, one of the things that really irritate me is worthless unfulfilled promises. Many times, in life we get caught up in our fast-paced daily lives that we occasionally don’t recognize the promises we make to other people. Here are some classics: *if you need anything let me know, *I’ll call you, or *you’ll get the next open position. We need to be careful when making idle promises. In other words, presenting hope that’s not worth the words coming out our mouth, unkept possibilities that only frustrate the hopeful. Many people are defenseless to these promises.Children look up to adults and we teach them to listen to their parents, teachers, etc., so when we break a promise to a child it’s hard for them to understand. If we aren’t careful our words become worthless. The same goes for our elderly. Many of them are alone or lonely, they depend on others a lot, and when someone makes a promise of running an errand or a much-promised visit that never materializes, then depression can easily set in. The same goes for an employee who is depending on the increase. The employee does all they’ve been asked, and the supervisor promises the employee a raise or an elevated position that never materializes. We need to be more reliable and mindful of what we’re saying. The Bible is full of God’s promises that we can depend on. They’re rooted in His unchanging character and love for us. We should be Christlike and become more aware of worthless unfulfilled promises that could hurt or disturb others that depend on us.Beloved, the last time I checked we serve an on-time God and His Word has never failed us. 😀Let Us Pray:Dear Heavenly Father, this morning I ask that You help us to be more aware of the promises we make to You and others. Help us to deliver on them just like Your promises in the Bible that never fail us.In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen.Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE TOO LATE – I LOVE YOU ALL!!!Have a brilliant Monday and a boundless joyful week. 😀 -
“You’re Never Alone”

Praise the Lord Beloved. Happy Tuesday!!! 😀Beloved, grief, heartache, sadness, unhappiness, and misery are all rolled up into one word – “Suffering”You know, suffering can be a very deserted and segregated experience. At times we don’t get answers or responses to why we’re heartbroken in this lifetime. Sometimes things don’t change. You don’t get your family member back. You don’t get remission. But that doesn’t mean that the Lord doesn’t see that, understand it, and want to help you through it. Beloved, the next time you’re going through a period of suffering, stop and ask the Lord to show you the message He wants you to absorb. The Bible tells us God is sovereign and always in control (*1). God can use whatever or whoever in your life for good, including suffering and adversity (*2). God promises that He’ll never leave you alone in your time of suffering (*3). And when you don’t get the answer you’re looking for, or an answer at all, God’s still on His throne and has a perfect plan for you (*4).Beloved, periods of grief, heartache, sadness, unhappiness, and misery can be fertile ground for planting new seeds of faith that’ll grow into deep-rooted trees of faith that’ll stand strong and secure in the next storm of life that comes your way. Amen? Aaamen.Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE TOO LATE.I LOVE YOU ALL!!! “He’s Always Up to Date”

Praise the Lord Beloved. Happy Tuesday!!! 😀Beloved, are you acquainted with these words? Jesus rightfully proclaimed He’s the bread of life and living water that those who come to Him will never go hungry and thirsty again (*1). 😀 Since “WAY” back in the day to today, people keep on repeating the same old mistake of spending and struggling for things that realistically won’t really bring contentment. Many of you that know me know I love video games. One time, I worked long hours and saved my money to buy the latest video gaming system. A system that I could effortlessly play any video game I wanted. Little did I know that the feeling of gratification would be brief. Soon after, a better and more powerful gaming system was going to be released making mine seem like a bad purchase. Now, new video games and systems have come out with UHD 4k technology. So, now a UHD 4k television is required to receive the intensive and full design of the video games and their systems – 8k television is soon coming. By God’s grace, I’ve stopped in my tracks and I’ve come to realized that chasing technology will always leave me dissatisfied and deficient. But OOH how thankful we are for God and what He gives, He doesn’t charge, nor does He change (*2). 😀Beloved, salvation “rescuing, removing, recovering” – redemption in Jesus is a gift to us (*3). Now there’s nothing wrong with updating to replace the outdated but if you don’t want to labor in vain, don’t get all caught up with fashion, and trends. Go to God, and learn to be content and truly happy, He’s always up to date.Beloved, life is very short. “A Genuine Supporter and Friend”
Shalom Aleichem Believers in the Christian faith. You know Beloved, I can’t count the many times in my life I’ve been in the same situation the man in this morning’s Bible verse was in and at times those conditions still occur. There are times in my life when I can’t complete projects no matter how hard I try. Many times, all I need is a little bit of support, some information or assistance, a friendly word or a smile that inspires.
Beloved, people need supporters – friends. Like that man from the Bible. He needed someone to help him get into the pool, he couldn’t do it alone, and he didn’t have anyone. There are many of you who have family and friends that support you. I’m speaking of the family and friends who are always there to help or support. You know I’m asked to help or support all kinds of things from family issues or plans to other friends and ministry issues and plans, but most of the time I’m on my own. The good thing is that there’s one special supporter – friend that will never fail me or you – our Lord Jesus Christ. He’s always there to give me a helping hand, an encouraging, inspiring supportive word for needed directions and information.
Beloved, He’s the one that put me into my pool and if you need someone that’s closer than a brother or sister, He’s a genuine supporter and friend that will stick by you through thick and thin. He’ll never turn His back on you, and He doesn’t have any hidden agendas. Sometimes He does it through others, sometimes through little phenomena that’ll come out of nowhere, but you can always be assured He’ll be there and be there right on time too.
ShalomBeloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE TOO LATE.
I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have a Terrific Tuesday. 😀

“Heckled Instead of Welcomed”
Praise the Lord Beloved!!! Happy Tuesday. 😀Beloved, after God has helped you turn your life around, how many of you have been discredited (humiliated) or not welcomed (not received) especially by your family members or hometown – the place you grew up. “I HAVE” – and to this day it’s still occurring. Well if you have, you’re in great company because it was no different for Jesus either. Jesus returned to Nazareth after preaching and performing miracles in neighboring towns. Nazareth was His hometown and people in the synagogue were surprised and stunned at His teaching. But instead of extending a warm welcome or receiving His message, they started discrediting (doubting) Jesus (*1).Beloved, of all places Nazareth should have been one of the closest and dearest places to Jesus’ human heart, because this is where he grew up, where his family’s home was. It’s not written how many people needed healing, but Jesus “intentionally” withheld and reduced the “deeds of power” during His stay there because of their unbelief. Today, it’s not unusual to encounter cynics (hecklers), pessimists, or critics who plant seeds of doubt everywhere they go. So, stay on guard because if you haven’t yet, someday you may meet people who are knowledgeable about the Word just like the people in the synagogue but will discredit you as they did Jesus, His power, His death, and resurrection. Pray for God to strengthen your faith and remember that it puts us at a great disadvantage not to believe and trust in the Lord. Amen? – Aaamen. 😀CHOF and the Bishop, W. F. Houston, Jr. Ministry is here to help you develop and deepen your relationship with God and learn how to live a victorious Christian life. I hope my daily observances will bring reassurance, spiritual stimulation, harmony, and intestinal fortitude that will assist you as you grow in your walk with Christ.Beloved, life is very short. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MAY BE TOO LATE.I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have a blessed Tuesday. 😀Bishop, W. F. “The Messenger’s Feet Are Beautiful”

Praise the Lord Beloved!!! Happy New Month. 😀This morning I’m starting the month of July encouraging everyone of you that share in the ministry by spreading the word of God to “KEEP ON KEEPING ON!!!” :-D. The eyes of God will never look past the messenger’s feet who took courage in proclaiming the Gospel. The places we go and the people we’ve talked to aren’t the reasons why we’re beautiful in God’s eyes. It’s the messages that we bring with us, the annunciation of the Gospel. The flow of blessings in our lives will not be terminate and the protection we’ve acquired won’t be negotiated. Though crisis may arise at times, God’s attention is upon us. We may go through issues and intemperate circumstances, but God will be with us.Beloved, harassment may come, but God will not allow us to be put to shame, but His justice will prevail, and His people will delight in Him. Amen – Aaamen. 😀Thank you for being with us and be sure to check out our other social media pages. We post new content daily. “Remembering the Sabbath”

Praise the Lord Beloved. Happy Wednesday. 😀 I hope your day has started off with a smile. 😀You know the Israelites had weekly Sabbaths (a day of rest), but they also had new moon Sabbaths and other distinct Sabbath days related to their feasts. On those days, there were limitations as to how much they could do and how far they could go. All these were designed to have them take time to reflect on the God they served. They were to be still for a day to focus upon God. Beloved, this morning’s verse teaches that the reason for the Sabbath was to know who the LORD is and that He’s the One who makes us holy. It seems that they missed the whole point of the exercise and concentrated on the rules surrounding the Sabbath instead of the purpose. They thought that keeping the rules made them holy, when it’s clearly the LORD that makes them holy.
Beloved, they had the illustration of Abraham who was acknowledged right with God by simply believing in God before he had done anything the Lord asked. They also had the illustration of the man recording this passage, “Moses”. He was a murderer and failed miserably when he tried to do it his own way. But when we know we can’t do it ourselves, that holiness is inaccessible by our efforts, we finally look to the LORD who makes us holy. Even though, at that time, they didn’t understand how, they simply needed to believe He would. Beloved, it’s the trust placed in God, not a comprehensive understanding of the method that makes men right with God, back then and now.
Beloved it’s God who makes us holy. His work will transform our lives when our trust is placed in Him.
Amen? – Aaamen.Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE – TOO LATE.
Beloved, I thank you for being such an inspiration to us. 😀
I LOVE YOU ALL!!! And have a blessed Wednesday Everyone. 😀 -
“Overcoming Evil with Love and Exemplified Courtesy”
Praise the Lord Beloved!!! 😀 Happy Monday to you all. 😀You know Beloved, the Holy Bible instructs us to love and exemplify courtesy toward our enemies. Matthew 5:44 (NLT) says: “But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you. The Word commands us (Matthew 5:39-41) to turn the left cheek when someone slaps our right one. We’re to give our shirt if anyone wants to sue us and also present them with our best clothing item. 1 Peter 3:9 and Romans 12:17 instructs us: “DON’T” repay abuse for abuse but repay it with a blessing”. Romans 12:20 says if your enemy is hungry, feed them and give them a drink when they’re thirsty.
I have a clergy associate who’s a very strong guy in the Word. He had several others under his spiritual covenant who were following the guidelines of his ministry and progressing rather well – all but one. This young man wanted to run the church “he wanted the church” so he inserted uneasiness and provoked scrupulous tactical maneuvers to clown the pastor. This was not a good look for the pastor, or his leadership role.
So, after a few months of this associate minister’s antics the pastor finally got fed up and called a meeting with a couple of powerful deacons and other associate ministers and reprimanded him. They got into a “VERY HEATED” argument and it almost came to blows. One day I rode with the pastor to go visit a friend in the hospital, on our way we saw him pulled over – he had a flat tire. The pastor and I looked at each other and he turned around and we went too his aide. Once we got there, we found out he didn’t have a spare tire. So, we took him and his tire to an automotive shop to get the tire repaired. He asked the clerk how much it would be to repair his tire. The clerk quoted him the price and he did not have the amount to pay the fee. Beloved, without soliciting the young man’s consent, the pastor paid the repairman directly the exact amount. That gesture repaired any tension or animosity between them and to this day, they’re good friends.
Undeniably, to overcome evil with the same is catastrophic, but overcoming evil with love and exemplified courtesy brings lasting peace and joy. Amen-Aaamen. 😀
Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them,

“Hurt and Angry?”

Praise the Lord Beloved. Let us all say, “Thank You Lord for another Wednesday to be in Your presence”.You know Beloved, many of us have cried out to God and felt like He wasn’t listening, or He doesn’t care. Many of us have gotten angry at God. And I’ll be the first to say those are scary thoughts. Beloved God created everything. He sent Mount Everest protruding up from the Earth and ransacked channels in the depths of the Pacific. He made the billions of stars, and that gives us just a miniscule picture of His marvelous glory. Yet we dare to be mad at Him? It’s crazy that many of us at some time or another in our life have felt upset towards God. In our verse, this morning Jesus will reference from the Cross one of many cries by David. He was a man after God’s own heart, yet he makes a habit throughout the Psalms of asking God where He is. I believe this is God’s way of telling us that these feeling are only human.
Beloved, we may get angry, but we need to remember He’s still God. We must always be respectful and must never sin in our anger. That’s what David does here at the end, he still glorifies God.
Beloved, put off your anger and remember the God who created the Heavens and the Earth is the same God who loves you and wants the best for you. Amen? Aaamen. 😀
Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them – BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE – TOO LATE.

“One Small Step At a Time”

Praise the Lord Beloved. Happy Tuesday. 😀You know, God’s principle directive is to lead you each and every day. He’s given His Spirit to guide you 360 days. And believe it or not, most believers don’t know that. They expect God to reveal His complete will for their lives in one big revelation.
Beloved, please don’t make that mistake. Don’t just sit around waiting for God to show you whether or not He wants you to go to a certain place, city or a faraway land for the rest of your life. Now, there’s an important step you must not miss. You must let Him start you out by leading you in small things first. You must allow Him to tell you what you need to do about this situation or that one. He’ll show you what you need to change. And, as He does, you’ll change one thing at a time.
And for many of you realistically, you probably already know one thing God wants you to do. You might not know why He wants you to do it. You may not know where it’s leading, but you’ve heard His voice in your mind and emotions. Beloved, if you want to keep on hearing Him, you’ll have to set aside your own ambitions and personal requirements. Spend time in prayer and in the Word. Tune your ear to the harmonious voice of His Spirit. Learn to believe, trust and have all confidence Him. Remember that He’s smarter than you are and be willing to do what He says whether you can understand it with your mind or not. Obey even His smallest instructions. If you do that, He’ll eventually change your whole life – one small step at a time. 😀
Amen? Aaamen. 😀Beloved, life is very short.
