  • “Life is Delicate”

    11 15 2019 Bishop Houston's Weekend Words Psalm 150 6
Recently a close female clergy friend of ours passed away, and she was only in her fifties. She was a very energetic, strong woman. She loved going to the gym to workout. She always had a pleasant smile on her face. She was always jogging, loved shooting the basketball, and played on a local softball team. She looked very healthy and physically fit. The day she transitioned stunned everyone. As I write this morning, I’m painfully reminded of how delicate and brief life is.

Beloved, we shouldn’t take anything for granted but be appreciative to God. The Apostle James says in 4:14 “For you are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.” To an unbeliever, this is a scary thought but for us believers, we stand on what the word says in Philippians 1:21 “living is Christ and dying is gain.”

So, as we finish this week head into the weekend, let us live according to God’s will and tell others about His goodness, “And Also” reach out and touch (hug) your loved ones and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE – TOO LATE.

    Weekend Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the life and blessings You gave us. We trust everything about You, and we put all things into Your care and ask You to help us live under Your will. Lord, we love You. In Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen and Amen.

I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have a blessed Friday and awesome weekend Everyone. :-D.
  • “God’s Intestinal Fortification Program”

Monday June 3 2019 Let Us Pray James 1 2 thru 4Praise the Lord Beloved, Happy Monday to you. I thank God this morning for allowing me to start the month of June with you. 😀

You know beloved, I have recognized and apprehended that trial and tribulations are part of our Christian lives, “BUT” they were never meant to break us down. God’s purpose for permitting trials to come into our lives is to build us, reconstruct us, help us mature, and make us sturdy. The Apostle James said that we should be joyful when trials come because they produce perseverance.

There are three key elements that we must comprehend.

First, we need to *HAVE THE RIGHT UNDERSTANDING about trials so that they bring us joy. James added that you have to let trials complete its effect to get good results such as becoming mature, complete and don’t lack anything. Second, *YOU HAVE TO FACE TRIALS. Beloved, don’t give up or run away from it. Just like undergoing any training program, you need to complete the program to get the essential skills and abilities that the program offers. And third, when you have become *MATURE AND COMPLETE because of trial and tribulations you can help others who are undergoing trials. So, don’t run away from trials, instead, FACE THEM. After all, God will not allow trial and tribulations that you can’t bear. Remember, it’s His intestinal fortification program designed just for you. Amen? Aaamen. 😀

Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE – TOO LATE.
    I LOVE YOU ALL!!!

Have a blessed Monday Everyone. 😀
