    Happy Holidays!!! ✝️❤️😊

Beloved, laughter is good for our mental status. I hope all of you can reflect back on many jubilant moments you laughed so hard that when you think about the occasion that was so hilarious it still makes you laugh.

But you know, not all laughter is the same. Occasionally it’s sarcastic. When I started my online CHOF Ministry there were many who laughed at me in unbelief and as we approach 12 years many are still laughing at me even as they try to duplicate or pick certain components to install in their chosen spiritual foundational delivery. There also were many that made fun of and laughed at my albums and at First Lady Donece’s Houston Travels travel business. NO SUPPORT FROM MANY!!! BUT MUCH LAUGHTER “AT” by many – and minimal laughter with.

But you know some of these same people that laughed or are laughing at you and won’t support you have the nerve or bold enough to come to you and ask you to support their need or cause and have the audacity to get upset with you when you repudiate them. “HELLO WALLS!!!!!!!!” Somebody out there Know what I’m talking about this morning!!! 😊

Beloved, ninety-year-old Sarah laughed in incredulity when she was told she would give birth to a son. She knew that after a certain age, women simply don’t get pregnant. The idea must have sounded like a joke. Abraham doesn’t get off lightly – he laughed earlier when God told him Sarah would have a son (*1).

This story should convict many cynical people because it actually ties into their lack of faith or jealously. I sometimes see old feuds, a paucity of evolution in our churches or ministries, and incurable illnesses as “just the way things are.” But the question that we should all always apply is God’s question: “Is anything too hard for the Lord?” Ephesians 3:20 (NLT) reminds us that God “is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.”

When God fulfilled His promise and a son was born to Abraham and Sarah, they named him Isaac, which means, “he laughs” (*2). Their laughter now had a positive tone. I’m sure there were many that laughed at Joseph and Mary when they found out about the immaculate conception.
It says in Psalm 126:3 (NLT): “Yes, the Lord has done amazing things for us! What joy!”

May God give all of us that kind of joy when we recognize that He keeps His promises regardless of what we may humanly think or believe.

    Let Us Pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of laughter. Help us to look at situations and opportunities the way You view them. Give us faith in Your promises and fill us with jubilation.
In Jesus’ name, I pray, Amen and Aaamen.

Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will enter our earthly room and blow out our candle. So, reach out and touch the ones that need your agape, dissolve the divisions among you, continue to encourage one another, be united in the same mind, the same reasoning and continue to build one another up.

I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have a blessed Sunday and a Spiritual Christmas. ✝️❤️😊

  • “Remembering the Sabbath”

    Wednesday 6 12 2019 Let Us Pray Exodus 31 13
Praise the Lord Beloved. Happy Wednesday. 😀 I hope your day has started off with a smile. 😀

You know the Israelites had weekly Sabbaths (a day of rest), but they also had new moon Sabbaths and other distinct Sabbath days related to their feasts. On those days, there were limitations as to how much they could do and how far they could go. All these were designed to have them take time to reflect on the God they served. They were to be still for a day to focus upon God. Beloved, this morning’s verse teaches that the reason for the Sabbath was to know who the LORD is and that He’s the One who makes us holy. It seems that they missed the whole point of the exercise and concentrated on the rules surrounding the Sabbath instead of the purpose. They thought that keeping the rules made them holy, when it’s clearly the LORD that makes them holy.

Beloved, they had the illustration of Abraham who was acknowledged right with God by simply believing in God before he had done anything the Lord asked. They also had the illustration of the man recording this passage, “Moses”. He was a murderer and failed miserably when he tried to do it his own way. But when we know we can’t do it ourselves, that holiness is inaccessible by our efforts, we finally look to the LORD who makes us holy. Even though, at that time, they didn’t understand how, they simply needed to believe He would. Beloved, it’s the trust placed in God, not a comprehensive understanding of the method that makes men right with God, back then and now.
Beloved it’s God who makes us holy. His work will transform our lives when our trust is placed in Him.
    Amen? – Aaamen.

Beloved, life is very short. It comes and goes like an unannounced gust of wind. None of us know the hour or day when that gust of wind will be permitted to enter our room and blow out our earthly light. So today, reach out and touch someone and tell them you love them, BECAUSE TELLING THEM LATER JUST MIGHT BE – TOO LATE.

Beloved, I thank you for being such an inspiration to us. 😀
I LOVE YOU ALL!!! And have a blessed Wednesday Everyone. 😀

  • “Crossing Over the Trust Line”

Bishop Houston Mid Week Crossing Over the Trust Line

In the years I’ve spent living by faith, there’s something I’ve learned to do that has helped me receive from God when I’m going through tough personal situations. It’s something I call crossing over the trust line. Now, there may be someone out there asking: Bishop Houston, what’s a trust line? Well, I’m glad you asked. 😀 Beloved, a trust line is what you need when you want God to do the “incredible” in your life. It’s what you need when you want to be strong, steady, and secure in your faith and yet you keep wavering back and forth between your circumstances and God’s promises, *believing first one thing, then something else. It’s what can make you like faithful Abraham. Believe it or not, Abraham had standard situations to deal with just like we do. He knew there was no ordinary way for God’s promise to him to come true. Yet the Word says Abraham considered not his own body. In other words Beloved, Abraham ignored the ordinary “NORMAL” suggestions around him and believed only God’s promise.

Somewhere he crossed over the trust line. 😀 He made a permanent decision to go with the Word of God. He made a final commitment. He chose to cross over to the point of no return. And if you’re ever going to see God do the impossible in your life, you’re going to have to do the same thing!!!

Now, there may be someone out there asking: Bishop Houston, how do I draw that trust line? Well, again, I’m glad you asked!!! 😀 You begin with the Word. Pursue, explore and examine the promises of God and deliberately have confidence in what He has said, and is saying, about your need. Meditate on those promises until confidence and trust becomes very intense in your heart. Then draw the trust line. Draw it in your mind and emotions. Draw it across the floor in your prayer room. Say, “In the presence of God, in the presence of all the angels in this room, and in the devil’s face, I’m crossing over the trust line. From this moment on, I consider this matter done!!! From this day forward, I give God the praise and the glory in the Name of Jesus!!!”

Beloved, from that moment on, speak only as if your phenomenon has already happened. Turn your back on the problems, on the doubts, and turn your face toward Jesus.

I’m a witness that God will do the impossible in your life. This morning, I’m challenging you to cross over the trust line.

  • “You Got The Power!!!”

You Got The Power FB Church pageDeuteronomy 7:7-8 (NIV)
7The LORD did not set his affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. 8But it was because the LORD loved you and kept the oath he swore to your forefathers that he brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

Beloved, have you ever asked yourself why does The Lord set His love on certain ones? Well, I have many times before I turned my life fully over to God. Now, I no longer ask that question, I now answer the question when others ask. Let’s look at the case of Israel, we see that The Lord simply chose to love them, and it was in keeping with the oath He made to their forefathers. That oath began with the man of faith, Abraham. You see, right here it shows that our relationship with God can affect future generations that follow us.

Beloved, God chose to love the world. He set His love upon the world because of what Jesus did. The result of Jesus’ life of faith is the same type, but It’s the ultimate fulfillment of the shadow in Abraham. We, too, were delivered from the land of slavery, slavery to our old nature. We, too, are delivered from the master of this world, Satan. Beloved, he no longer has a claim to our lives. He has no right to our souls. God made a promise to crush the head of Satan so that we could be redeemed and out from under the power of the enemy (those that tell you are useless, those that ostracize you, those that abuse you and lie on you, those that feel that they are more than you and look down on you.) Beloved, STAND UP AND GRAB YOUR STRENGTH!!! You are redeemed!!! The enemy has no has no power over you any longer!!! How people feel about you, is their opinion. The last time I checked a person’s opinion didn’t redeem you, a person’s opinion didn’t go up on Golgotha and shed blood and die so that you can live!!! And let me get just a little closer, a person’s opinion can’t save you from hell or put you in heaven.

Beloved, stop handing ‘YOUR POWER’ OVER TO PEOPLE TO BEAT YOU DOWN. God loves you also and He wants to love on you just like He loves on those you think have favor. You don’t have to be in a clique for God to love you. The verse above applies to you today. God has set His affection on you and chosen you also. You have Victory!!!! So, don’t let no one tell you different!!! Thank Jesus for making that possible. Live in the knowledge of the truth that God has set His affection on you because of Jesus’ life of faith and death in your place.

Beloved, you’re delivered from the power of the enemy. Don’t let the enemy tell you anything else. You are loved, and you are free!!!

    Have a Gorgeous Sunday.
