  • Bouncing Back in 2020

    12 27 2019 Bishop Houston's Weekend Words Psalm 92 12
    Happy Holidays!!! 😊

I was watching a channel yesterday that was looking back at the 20 worst storms in history. I was in awe of the storms and the destruction they caused but what amazed me more was how so many of the palm trees that were in the midst of those massive storms bent over and were actually touching the ground, but when the wild winds and rain stopped the palm trees sprung back up as if nothing ever happened.

According to my research, the palm tree actually becomes stronger while it’s bent over under pressure.

Beloved, God gave the illustration of the palm tree because it exemplifies how we’ll overcome and spring back after our stormy trials and tribulations. God knows the storms we’ll encounter way before they indulge onto the foundation we’re standing on. We’re like that tree planted by the river!!!😊 (*1)

We all have storms – some of us have had many storms. You must keep the faith during your storms. They may look and feel atrocious, but God has supplied you with palm tree strength and after the storm is over, you’ll bounce right back with more intensity and persistence.

Beloved, as you end this week and head into the weekend look toward the new year reflect on the occurrences in 2019. The turbulences you encountered in 2019 made you stronger and wiser. Your wisdom has become keener, you’re more focused, and believe victory is waiting for you in 2020.

Beloved, your happiest days are fast approaching!!! 😊 And it’s also good to remember Romans 8:31 (AMP) “What then shall we say to all these things? If God is for us, who can be [successful] against us?” Amen? Aaamen. ✝️❤️😊

    Today’s Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for entrenching Your strength in me. I have no doubt that You’re working in my life, even when I’m going through the rough storms. Thank You for allowing me to once again see the doors of a new year and a new season of approved good things. In Jesus’ Mighty Name, I pray, Amen and Amen.

I LOVE YOU ALL!!! Have a pleasant Friday and a fantastic weekend everyone. ✝️❤️😊

  • “The Horizon Will Appear”

    *Unka Burnie Speaks*

It was bitter sweet when our nest was finally empty. A new horizon was appearing. One my wife and I knew would come. But you know, when many children enter the State of maturity and stand on its ground, they don’t focus on the playing field they’re about to embark. Many rebel against spiritual and moral parental leadership, many reside with factious mutiny groups that stand on unbalanced ground, and many leave homes truly believing the words “I Got This!!!” Their eyes are focused on the carnal delicacies and the release form of parental infractions. Overlooking or refusing to think “Oh, I’ve never lived on my own before.”

Beloved, leaving or departing is never the actual headliner. The behind the scene topic that often get the lights dimmed is what effected the departure and how the departure was actually received. The same is true of our relationship with the Heavenly Father. Your relationship with Him will be the ticket punched to the next State grounds you stand on eternally. What our relationship with Him will predicate the horizon that will appear in all our lives. What ground of maturity are you standing on right now? What ground – spiritual or carnal? Are you saying: “I Got This?” Beloved before the lights are darkened and you enter the horizon to stand on the ground of your next State, don’t overlook or repudiate the ground you’re standing on currently. Maturity is a life long process. The heavenly Father will continue to grow His Children until He brings them home. Seek the Lord’s wisdom and truth and ask that He reveal “ANYTHING” holding you back from a beautiful relationship with Him. He wants to walk closely with you all of your days.

So, in 2019, if the horizon does appear, the Father wants to gladly say, “Welcome my good and faithful friend!!! The State and ground you now stand on is spiritually balanced.”
